Hey, so we're having some trouble coming with a name for the dwarf city in 3.0. Our core player base has decided upon a number of suggestions but I feel it'd be wise to see which one of these names players prefer. Vote which one you like or instead choose other and make your  suggestion as a comment! After a day, I'll narrow it down to six names and finally two names on the second day so make sure to keep an eye on this thread. Here's an earlier screenshot from the development server, taken by Mediocregamer in case anybody wants to get an idea of what the city itself looks like before voting.

Also, this is a list of words in the dwarven language if you're looking for any inspiration.

Khaz'Tiwaaz is my idea :3

That being said, Kal-Menthal sounds like Dwarf cigerettes :3

Or a brand name for a Dwarven cough drop.  *Goes off the the Dwarven labs to make the first Kal-Menthal*

Zez, just wondering, what would City of the Deep be called?

Kal'Hudin. Added it at the end. :P

The city name needs to mean something of city location or purpose. Mountain pass wouldn't make sense as its in a mountain not in the pass of it.

Kal'Ceillid Dwedus ((city of the wise dwarfs)).

or

Kal'Rik ((city of the lords)).

or

Kal'Cellid ----- ((City of the king, but I couldn't find the word king so I put a ----)).

Kal'Grund and Kal'Kadrin sound good, like, in a drwaf's tongue it just sounds right.

Grunt-ish and short, simple to spell and either has a sort of  'roll-to-the-R' or 'un(g/d)'; just seems appropriate.

My two cents. :P

Just to throw it out there: Kal'Braithean. It means City of Brothers which is a great way to sum up dwarven society.

For some of us.

For some of us.

Allow me to correct that. It is perfect for what dwarven society should be.
