History:

 

Leana was born in the Kingdom of Renatus in the Holy Oren Empire to Brenton and Anice Stafyr, their second child after their firstborn son, Edmund. Leana was very close to her mother, who doted on her and rarely went anywhere without her daughter. Having no other female influence that early on in her life, Leana came to idolise her mother, even more than any other child would normally do. Although she loved her older brother and father dearly, Leana put her mother on a pedestal that no-one could approach.

 

When Anice fell pregnant with her third child, Leana was four years old. Although confused at first, as any child would be, Leana's mother excited her with stories of what baby siblings were like and how she would be a role model to her little brother or sister.

 

However, this fantasy was soon broken by the events of the birth. Anice's labour was long and hard, with many fearing that neither mother nor child would live through the night. Little Leana was kept in her room away from her mother, with screams of agony keeping her awake and filling the few hours of sleep she had plagued with nightmares. Dawn broke with to the sound of two cries; Leana's mother and her new brother, Farley.
