I can't help but feel disappointed. Why has there already been abuse of materials? Folks, get your act together and do some roleplay instead. This isn't a grind to get the most diamonds, and what do they even add to our roleplay? Nothing.

The problem is it's impossible to tell what was gathered legitimately from Anthos and illegtimately from the mining world. Diamonds weren't supposed to be obtainable in either, so we can remove them safely.

I find this a bit disappointing myself. It reminds me of a game on the project ares pvp server, where evryone rushes to take as much diamond as they can. I mean, seriously guys? You want to be rich and respected. Great. You're rich at the expense of those who actually do what the server was made for (ROLEPLAY), which was all done without a single emote; and in my opinion it should lead to a warn. And are you respected? Do you think, because of wealth you OOCly attained, that I will show the slightest shred of IC obedience to you?

Money can't buy you everything, but poverty can buy you nothing. That's one of the best sayings in the world; the real world, not anthos. You want to be rich and popular? Go for it. But, please... not like this.

To be honest, the 2.5 maps, where we didn't have diamond was best. I know diamonds are used for more then armor and tools, though that is the most commonly known use for them, they also are used to make jukeboxes. So, here is my opinion & I know for a fact that others will disagree with me. The crafting recipes on diamond armor and tools should be restricted, & the only men/women that should be able to acquire such high standard armor should be nation leaders. I think diamonds should still be obtainable but, the normal citizens will be able to use them for Jukeboxes and such things that they might be used for.

 

((Also, disable the recipe for Enchant Table, or just disable Enchanting.))

The idea of having nation leaders have high standard armor would make them stick out. Say if your general in battle said to protect the emperor or the rex or whatever the case maybe the player won't have to look all over huge crowds for their leader, they'd be able to find him by the armor.

Also, since diamond is VERY RARE. The only people that would have the mina or just the brute power to take it from someone would be the someone with large quantities of wealth, or if you are the Rex, I'd assume that he'd just force his miners to hand it over. Yah No?
