New Magic Application System

I think it's a huge step up from the prior system of Magic, but I feel that the 'learning process' wouldn't fit in with all characters. I think it would have to be tuned or tweaked to fit certain types of magic, and what they players' intent on doing with said magic is, not just one set-standard for everyone.

I think this is a good system, even though I think the one DS came up with seemed a bit better. Anyways, this is a huge improvement.

I would constantly look at the magic applications, and be like, "Hey, that's cool, but I don't really know how the teacher thing works and how to get that in here..."

The learning process is determined by the teacher. Every one would be different depending on the teacher, their sub-class and their style.

Re-guarding with the self taught applications,

 

Will they be the same or easier to get?. . .

I would personally like Self Taught applications to stay the same as they were before although more harder to grasp and handle, Since it gives out magic too easily and it would actually make people create RP and find a teacher of that said magic they are looking for besides creating lore and having it in there hands, depending on what tier they place themselves in.

 

So what is happening with that?. . . I think a bit more details with the self teaching applications would be needed to clear things up for myself and maybe others.
