Azel silently stands before the members of the Dominion of Darkhaven on the bridge that separates the region of industry from the region of housing, an easy and calm smile illuminates the Dark Elf's face, his hands behind his back, clasped together. His piercing crimson eyes stare out at the gathering crowd, before falling onto individual members. Nodding to himself, he raises his hands together and claps them.

"Attention, attention."

His voice is stern, raising above all the other voices, and calm whispers coming from the mouth's of the speaking Elves. The gathering Elves fall silent, all eyes adverting from one another to Azel Bloodseeker. Some smile, others shrug, and maybe even some hidden few frown. Unable to stop himself, he looks to Khel Oussana, his older brother, and then to Laila, his fiancee and love. Azel studies each of their faces, attempting to discern their thoughts before moving his eyes over the rest of the crowd once more.

"Karin'ayla good Elves of Darkhaven, I, your chosen Patron, come before you for a simple reason. Government positions. As I feel, and I am sure many of you feel the same way, you want, no, you need the ability, the gods given right to vote for who you believe deserves, has earned, the right to help your Patron rule and watch over our home. Well, now you can. During our time at Malinor, Elves were not voted into power, they were chosen within the council, and friends were easily placed into positions of power to further the members already within's growing power. Well, this will not occur here in Darkhaven. In Darkhaven, the people, the citizens, will choose who will take seats on our council. Without the citizens of Darkhaven, the construction of Velunadin, our main distract, would not have been completed. Without the citizens, Darkhaven would not even have been a possibility."

Azel turns to his right, the position beside the bridge with a sign that normally says: 'Area marked for fishing.' Instead, three small booths are in place. Each one marked with three separate signs. The first, the booth furthers on the right of Azel, closest to the inn, the booth is marked: Viscount of Relations. The booth in the middle is marked: Viscount of Economy. The final booth, the one closest to Azel is marked: Viscount of Lore.

"All votes will be done in each booth, and once all three are voted for, if you wish to vote. You may leave. The vote will be going on for this, and the next Elvish day. Once the votes are tallied, we will hold a festival for the winners. Let the voting begin!"

Azel steps back and smiles.

....

As you enter into each booth, you see a small sheet of paper with names on them, and another with an explanation of what each position does.

Viscount of Relations:

The Viscount of Relations takes care of all relations, within and out of the city. They work together to keep trade strong with other nations, and villages beside the Viscount of Economy. The Viscount of Relations also handles any and all information that has to do with war, and peace. Keeping alliances strong, and readying for war is a crucial part of the Viscount of Relations job. ========== OoC ==========

This is within Darkhaven, and literally no one outside of it would know, considering this is a surprise event for the inhabitants, they wouldn't have anyone to tell.

This event will be going on for two IRL days, today and tomorrow it will end at 11:59 PM Easter Standard Time.

Goroth slips a note into the ballot box, voting for the unique candidates being Sathoro and Iaewon. He then looks between Khel and his own name. He chooses himself and mutters, "This is hopeless, it is a vote of popularity... Corrupt as usual..."

Laila looks at the thing and sighs. She does not even vote. She finds it pointless as most of them are already chosen without even needing to vote. She turns ignoring the vote completely.

Art slowly shakes his head, walking into Darkhaven and seeing the boothes.

"Azel, you had the right idea, but one needs more choices in these kind of votes. I won't put anything in those booths, consider my vote going to whoever has the potential to get things done, and wipe away the growing disdain the rest of Anthos has for our people."
