It's good to see so many losers here...perhaps we'll hear from a few people who win often and would enjoy a good beating?

I wish I could do this, but for me the server is down. Anyone else? And also, Nice stories, it was enjoyable and when I can I'll add to them. Maybe if they accept me into the Second Ultimatum I could fight a council member.....

I started a fight, I gave a punch, follwed by a knee, then tried to trip him. It worked and he was sent to the ground and the fight was over...

This idea is good on paper, but not much more than that in my opinion. Doing this, going into a fight wanting to lose, is both detrimental to your character and harmful to those with whom you fight. You should never go into a fight hoping or wanting to lose, or for that matter knowing you will win, because that only causes problems. You should know your characters limits, and the other player should know their characters limits, when your limits are broken then you lose. The problem comes in when people add limits to their character that are in surppassable.

Again, the concept behind this idea is good. You are trying to prove that you can have fun while still losing, but I dislike directly going into a fight with a scripted outcome. Aside from the other negatives, you will also  be recklessly empowering the other player. They will beat you and they will think that they are "The best fighter ever" and when they fight again they will expect to win. Empowering those who want power never works. Instead of going into a fight hoping or looking to lose, you should go into a fight with the thought process of "I know what my character is capable of" and stick to that. Don't surpass your limits and place limits on yourself that aren't impossible to break.

My personal viewpoint at least.

I still have to disagree with you Angelo's you can go into a fight with a positive mindset, planning to lose, Without bolstering them. So many are still thinking a fight has to be physical, when in reality any debate, or argument is truly a fight at heart. I'm not asking you to pick any random person, punch them and force yourself to lose obviously.

What I'm asking is for you as a player, to put your character into a position where they would lose, and play it out. Perhaps it will have a surprising outcome and you will get saved by another heroic person...or perhaps a dragon will swoop down and eat you both. The point remains, enter a situation you would otherwise avoid as a player, and watch as your character plays it out for you.

As the title suggests, even the greatest of Kings and Warriors among us have bad days.....get sick and can barely stand let alone walk without tripping...or bite our tongue 3 times at dinner and feel miserable for the rest of the night.

As a second, and separate challenge, I ask that anyone who feels this "wont work, shouldn't work or can't work" be silent, and find a way to make it work for you. And let those with only positive remakes be made here forth.

Thank you,

-Ley

Do I get bonus points if  I always lose? I don't think I have ever one an RP fight... Ever.

Love this idea. I have lost many RP fights in the past, and I still consider them very fun roleplay.

I'll join in with this! ^.^
