Role-playing: Role-playing is when you play as a character and make decisions
for him/her. For example, I will be playing as my character down below and chat
to other characters and develop his personality and skills.

Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is when your character knows something that he
shouldn't. Such as if a character is sneaking on my roof going to assassinate
me and then my character yells at the other character to get off and not
assassinate me.

Power-emoting: Power-emoting is when a character forces another character to do
something. Like if my character is fighting and I emote *stabs Billy Bob so
fast he can’t get out of the way*. Or if I emote *forces storm trooper #5 to
drink the poisoned wine*.

Full Name: Jack Gingerkirn

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):  When Jack was young he was
always fascinated by merchants. His father was a merchant and almost every day
Jack would spend time in his dad’s shop and sometimes even help out the
customers. When Jack turned 15 he earned enough money to by his first market stall
in Oren.

            When
Jack turned 20 he moved on and bought a small construction materials shop near
Ravenhold. He spent 3 years in the shop but then business started to dry up so
he started to travel and he would help out most small shops he came across. He
returned to Oren and found his first stall owned a child around 13. He started
talking to the child and found out that he was raising money for his family so
Jack gave him 50 minas for a small knife.

Ambitions for the Future: Jack wants to help out small business and run his own successful
shop.

Personality:  Jack is a nice guy and tries his best to help out anybody in
trouble. However if if involves fighting or harming someone he believes it’s
better to not help.

Skills: Jack loves to barter with people and get as much money he can.

Appearance (this must
include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Jack has long hair and blue eyes and he is light skinned. He is wearing a green shirt and blue pants with black shoes. he carries around a pouch to carry his minas and any other trinkets he has acquired. The file up-loader is still not letting me upload my skin.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Jack wants to learn a form of magic but it is low on his priorities.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?



Answer: Jack tells himself that he might work for the emperor but then he
realizes that he wouldn’t have to sneak. He then tries to find a way to stop
him without fighting. The best decision he comes with is to alert the guards.
“Guards!” he yells while pointing to the figure. The guards look and then start
to run at the figure. Jack turns away to not see the fight that hears ensue. He
walks off but then a guard walks up to him and thanks him. Jack waves him off
and says “Not a problem, sir”.



2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small
iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?



Answer: Jack knowing he should do something but can’t figure out a way to do
it without a conflict tries to sneak away. However the two bandits notice him
and yell at him and threaten him. Jack knows that he shouldn’t yell back but he
still yells “You shouldn’t threaten me for I am a skilled with the sword on my
back and have slain many incompetent bandits like you!” The bandits call his
bluff yelling “Yeah right, your nothing more than a filthy peasant.” Jack
knowing his lie is over he runs as fast as he can in the opposite direction.
After he realizes they’re not chasing him he stops running and then continues
on his way on a different road.



3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you
notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that
he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).



Answer: Jack says “Umm, Well, can I have those trousers.” The shopkeeper hands
him the trousers and says “Starting price is 15 minas.” Jack replies with “Can
you go down to 10 minas?” The shopkeeper shakes his head and says “No, I can do
13 minas though.” Jack says “Can you do 11?” He says “Ok.” Jacks hands him a
bag of 11 minas and says “Thank you.” While walking away.
