The Imperial Commoner League

Melee Fighting for the amusement of masses and profit for the winners

 

 

Issued by the Lord High Treasurer Godwein Stafyr,

Granted by his Imperial Majesty, Holy Emperor Godfrey the First of Horen.

 

 

 

The Imperial Arena offers all common men and women to come and try their luck, either at betting on contestants, or by fighting within the Imperial Arena in the Capital itself!

 

 

Combatants:

 

It is easy to begin with and to hop in anytime. You are free to join, no matter your race or origin, you just have to contact the Lord High Treasurer himself to be officially be taken into the League ranking and list. Then you are free to challenge any other member within the list to fight you. Combat fee be fifty Minas, which both have to pay, the winner takes ninety of them with him.

 

After a time, depending on if the common man is brave enough, there will be one who claims to be best, by ranking highest and NUMBER ONE in the league. He is allowed to claim himself Champion of Oren, AS LONG as he be the true Number One!

 

 

Masses and Spectators:

 

If there be a fight or even a tournament within the league, the common man is allowed to bring his bet to the Lord High Treasurer, to bet with a simple quota of one point eight to one. If he wins, almost twice the money back. In these terms, the bet limit is to be fifty Minas, the lower limit at least five Minas.

 

In tournaments, each who bets, may bet on each fight. If you win in the end is to see what results you get from the fight itself!

 

 

Rules:

 

- To avoid horrifying bloodshed and to leave the combatants only bruised and able to fight again soon, combat will be held with a painted leather vest (Either black or white) and training swords.

 

- Consumption of any potions or boosting ingredients is prohibited.

 

- You are to hand back the combat gear after the fight.

 

- Further rules may be brought up by the Lord High Treasurer. Please consent.

 

 

Additional Notes:

 

Shall the occasion arise, there might also be a Grand Melee, with more than just a single contestant on each side, so groups of up to five of each side may fight eachother. Side with last men standing wins. Payment rules apply for regular combat.

To start off the Commoner League, people are invited to participate in a tournament in four Elven days, single combat, with aforementioned rules. Entrance Fee is fifty Minas. To win there is a pot of Five-Hundred Minas and a Brand New Set of Iron Armor and a matching Iron Long Sword. Bets may be dealt with as usual.

 

Participants are advised to leave note here or to the Lord High Treasurer himself and bring payment of the Entrance Fee to the Lord High Treasurer within the next days. ((Please note, payment has to be done when I am online and when I can confirm of it.))
