Elindor 666 Share Posted April 23, 2013 Its just a custom name. (Also, seen as this is a thing now I might dredge up for the third time the old issue of my diamond VIP status not being granted.)
Sister Sequoia 438 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Suggestions:: -make barrels of log types other than just Oak. This will help those of us RPing bigger breweries to separate different brew types a little more easily. -Is it possible to custom name a barrel so that the brew comes out of it custom named? for example: The Brom'Krah brewery plans to sell and ship barrels of booze, and it'd be nice to have them labelled properly. -Can you get the plugin to recognize larger aging barrels? For example I've got some 5x5x4 giant kegs in our brewery for RP aging storage purposes, could you get he plugin to recognize those and be able to kill mugs/barrels from them? just some thoughts as I wander biome to biome gathering various barleys.

This. All of this. Especially larger barrels and naming. I have to name every mug of my ale, and I have to rename it when I pull it out. I've messed up all of my recipes now because the custom name doesn't stick on during transport. Not to mention.. only three mugs a barrel? A standard barrel can hold about 119 liters, which is about 502 cups. The volume of the in game barrels really needs to be pumped up, its makes no sense that a barrel only holds three singular glasses of fluid. It also makes selling them virtually useless. If you want to sell a barrel for.. say.. 100 mina. 100 ÷ 3 = 33.33->repeating meaning one mug will have to cost 33mina just to recap the price of one barrel. This makes no profit for the seller. Ale will have to be sold for 40+ mina in order to make any acceptable profit. This pretty much destroys its usefulness in market. Not to mention, the amount of barrels that will have to be bought in order to subsist even a small tavern that focuses on food over drink, would be ridiculous. long answer short. Barrels need to be much bigger if this is going to be of any real worth.

Too bad EVERYONE is now a legit brewer and can make their own "battle brew"
DecoLamb 959 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Honestly I don't find it worth it for buffs that only last about 10-15 seconds, even on top range brews. Really.. I kind of hate the plugin. It limits a lot of the rp my character's family line produced since Aegis. We can't pump out things like Maiden's Kiss or Nathair Fang, Black Berry Bounce is out of commission too, because people expect to get these battle brews. Honestly I had more fun brewing -before- the plugin..

TeaLulu 1783 Share Posted April 29, 2013 wow hey lets try not to blame the guy who makes all these awesome plugins that everyone else enjoys for us not being able to adapt the items to our RP. It isn't his fault other people "expect" "battle brews". We had lots of fun with the plugin at the Sun's smiles festival, Telanir. ((aka the "everyone get drunk and party" festival)) :3 Over 50+ people enjoying the brewing plugin's results, so thank you.

Too bad EVERYONE is now a legit brewer and can make their own "battle brew" Oh boo hoo. People don't want to not do something that's easy to do. It's a good plugin and it's fun to find recipes. Get over it. Stop moaning about it. It's fun. Keep up the good work Telanir. It's these plugins that will seperate us from the other servers in the long run.
