An application arrives in the claws of a large hawk. Upon opening the letter, most of it would appear to be written in golden ink.

 

"Greetings, hiylu'evar, sa'vi, and salutations! Whichever term you most prefer, of course. I find myself at need of new companions, as my old have seemingly become quite sparse, and I have very little desire to remain much longer! Now, as to your application process.

 

Mine given name is Lucian Evermist Goldmoon, but Lucian would do quite nicely. I am of the race Mali'Aheral, or High Elf in layman's terms. I have been a monk at the Sanctuaries for many a year, healing being my specialty thanks to the abilities granted to me by the Triumvirate.

 

As to seeking adventure, knowledge, and companionship, well, what more could a man ask for in life? If, of course, I end up where i intend to be, I suppose Delver Monk has a nice ring to it. I'm not very keen in the way of combat, but that all could change with being around people who know such things.

 

If I were to come across the ruins you mentioned, I would most certainly be curious as to what lay within. Knowledge is power after all, and an ancient design would be quite intriguing indeed. Sadly, as I mentioned, I am not very well honed in the ways of battle, so I would have to depart for that time being so that I might obtain someone of better stature towards those pursuits to assist me.

 

Assuming I ran into those hooded figures, again, I would be quite interested. Artifact is usually something that would be of ancient origin and have much to learn from. If possible, I would present myself to them as a healer, and offer to assist them in their goals, assuming said goals were noble. If not, I would go about my meal and depart, a bit sadder for it.

 

Finally, if I ran into such nonsense as someone jading a necromancer, I would most certainly put a stop to it. Necromancy is a pursuit of magic quite like the rest, and bodies have no purpose in this life once the soul has departed to a new one or the next plane of existence, whatever that may be. My staff would be at the necromancer's assistance.

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,
strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

Aye, I alone would not enter the lands unknown to me. I feel it'd be best to return to the Arcane Delvers and seek others more equipped with the knowledge to traverse the ruins safely.  
 

 

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures
in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out
what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

 

With keen interest to the betterment of the Delvers, I would most likely within reason move closer to the two whilst taking a drink to be looked at as a merry drunk within a tavern. I then would as discreetly as possible listen to the two's conversation in search for their information to then report to a higher up within the Delvers upon their exits. 

 

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

 

With interest in the masked fellow, I would deem him a threat if he uses such evil magic of boasts to what he shall do. With such a fiend deemed a target he shall either be disarmed through word or force. Afterwards through once more word or force shall be taken to the Delvers to deal with them as I feel they shall if the option were ever given.

I recently found a small child in Salvus.  His name is Vermah and he has no home.  

He also appears to cry blood.  I thought that the Delvers may be interested in him for this reason.  I brought him to the ruins and introduced him to the other members.

I think I have become somewhat attached to him, I would like to look after him here and was hoping you might allow me to do this.  He would also require a place to sleep, as I only have my initiate bunk.

"Where's she gone, huh?" He asks the Mushroom in an accusing tone, clearly stressed.

 

"She doesn't dissapear like this, send Rel and Smoke out if she's not back in a few days." He waves his arm lightly, expecting the Delvers to leap into action.

 

Art freezes as he strides past Kalenz's empty room. He growls, speaking to the empty cave.

 

"Resigning would imply you were doing anything but feck all for us in the first place. Keep burning my trees and my people, paleface."

 

Art paces off, straight out the keep, ignoring insanity, petty pickering and pestering that made up his job. He slumps down by a tree outside, content he will not be found, and dares to ask himself the question:

 

"How much longer can I keep this up...?"
