Goldrim 1422 Share Posted May 10, 2013 Hodir Doomforge resides in his chambers, he sits still, completely unmoving as dust slowly collects itself on his body. One of his fellow kinsman slowly trudges inside and hands him a note, Hodir unfurls it as he blinks a couple of times, which is more intended as a reality check. His heartbeat increases and he jolts upward, dancing around the large table as words escape from his rotten mouth, shouting for the others to hear. " Call tae' arms, call tae' arms! Sultan 3953 Share Posted May 10, 2013 He opens his eyes slowly, as he brings his ale keg to his lips pouring the ale onto his mouth and face, it runs down his beard as he looks at his father dancing on the table. ''Eh...''
Blundermore 2741 Share Posted May 10, 2013 ((According to the battle plans set up by Lago and Co it looks like it was going to be a turn based campaign that was sudo-total war like, with the Rebel faction going first, so you may want to talk to lago about this as he has spent a long time getting this War organized properly, and it wouldn't be fair to simply blow all that effort he has spent away by just ignoring it.))

((Indeed. Lago and a company of players have been working together to make it a campaign. And, from what I saw, it was freaking amazing. The system was great. You definitely need to speak to Lagomorphia. However, until that is done, the warclaim doesn't hold any meat, sorry mates. :<)) --Seventh

((This post was made after meanking told me to do it. Also, this is a small border camp, lol, it's not like we're attacking Vaerhaven, we have sufficient rp to attack this camp, though I will gladly talk to Lago.)))) Also, technically speaking the first move was already made, you guys taking the camp was the first move.))
Meanking 311 Share Posted May 11, 2013 ((The camp was owned by us prior. We had to have some other starting territory besides Vaerhaven.)) If you did not make your 'turn' by the end of the week, i would attack first, i warned of this. You cannot stall this rebellion until you are ready, it makes no Rp sense.

Jistuma 1996 Share Posted May 11, 2013 ((Guys... what the hell is happening? We didn't do it this week because we had 3 irl days to prepare for it, and so would be saving it for next week. IG, I have been talking to Kjell, the prince of Malinor, the adunians, completing the defenses, creating war machines, talking to the residents about the war, and planning IC all the strategy of the battles to come, while rp'ing the effects of these war on my character, so why do you guys want to end this so soon? I know we're going to lose, we have two clans of dwarves and the adunians, we pretty much are 15 vs 50. And I'm actually planning an interesting battle, using the small powers that VaerHaven has, instead of just going at it in a front confrontation. I'm also trying to understand the rules of this war, which I don't have much idea on how it works, since the map and part of the document seem to have some things with errors. Also, while this was very well thought of OOC'ly (The rules, the map, and so forth) when put into action it was horribly done, starting it without warning VaerHaven of this (at least to me and truth, 2 of the 3 leaders of VaerHaven), and then instead of becoming a civil war with two sides, it became, the dwarven nation vs VaerHaven, which might still be very interesting if we win the first battle, but won't work for long if we lose it, because it would just last a few more days, since VaerHaven is the poorest city around. Yes, we're broke, we don't have iron, we never did, we have 5 iron swords from people who died in town. I'm not saying it's unfair, I love the rp I'm getting from this, but that's the point, the rp is great, so why make it end so quickly? While IC it may have already been a year, with the time it takes to rp these things, we have had not enough time to prepare, heck, while talking to Kjell yesterday, the rp would have taken more than half an hour to get nothing done about the situation. Please, the leaders of both sides and the leaders of the holds, add me on skype (as well as Lago), this won't go anywhere if we can't talk OOC'ly about the rules and the limitations. Skype name is Jistuma. Thank you))
