A: A Holmes is as I think of it a mix of Rangers,Guards and Detectives(Hence the name Holmes).We are an anti-bandit group our main goal is to protect the roads for travellers. Q: How do I join the Holmes? A: Well firstly a ranked officer of the Holmes would have to give you an interview with a standard set of questions however some ranked officers will change the order of the questions or even add some new ones so not everyone will be asked the same questions during their interview. And if you want you can post your application form here to make it quicker for us to accept you. A: Now to simply answer this question our main HQ is located just before the cross-roads of Kings Road and Kal Rog Q: What happens after I finish the interview? A: Well if you did pass it then you will start out as an initiate until you prove yourself ready to be an official Holmes. Q: What rank will I be after i am an official Holmes? A: Well you will be choosing what wing you wish to join which is either Guard(still thinking of an official name), Detective and Resource gatherer. Q:Do we have any training facilitys? A: Yes we have a training room in the bunks that is free for use it is designed to make it easy for us to kill mobs but hard for them to harm us so its easy items and minas. Q: Do I get my own room to live in and food? A: Yes working in the Holmes gets you standard survival needs such as food and shelter each Holmes receives their own room that they can decorate as they wish. Q: What are the common jobs that a Holmes does when there is no missions or cases that need solving? A: Well we normally go out on patrol when we are not doing anything important. Q: What does HQ look like? A: HQ is going under major redesigning and renovation i will post pics of the new base as soon as we are done with the remodeling That is the end of the Q&A part of this post. --------------------------- 2. THE WINGS AND THEIR HEADS --------------------------- Now firstly as soon as you are an official Holmes you will be asked what wing you wish to be in there are 3 kinds with 3 heads the heads are the 3 main leaders who make various decisions and are in charge of running the Holmes. The Guard Wing The guard wing is lead by me Martin we are the main fight force of the Holmes The Detective Wing The Detective wing is lead by Midnus they are mostly in charge of going under cover and gathering intel The Resource Gathering Wing The Resource Wing is lead by Bastion they are mostly in charge of making sure we are well supplied and are also in charge of making negotiations and deals. That ends the Ranks portion of this post. ------------ 3. OUR ALLIES ------------ This is to let you know what other factions/groups are known allies of ours 1. F.O.A. 2.Oren Guard( not too sure but we are on pretty good terms) 3. The Kingdom Of Alras 4. Valve Guard 5. The International Army (I.A.) That is the end of that really short part of this post ----------- 4. THE RULES ----------- This is the rules that each Holmes must follow Rules of the Force: 1. Always be alert. Never engage a criminal alone. Have a buddy along when on patrol for safety. 2. Be safe! Never mind if criminal get away we want you to be safe and at top quality. 3. Greet those of higher rank with sir. Respect them! 4. Be polite to Everyone! 5. Roleplay before killing or capturing a criminal. "Hold it right there You are under arrest! Come with us!" If criminals flee, CHASE! If they attack, attack back! 6. Sheath your weapon unless in pursuit or combat. 7. Change your name to include Holmes and rank. 8. If you have a different job, know that we still expect a fair amount of effort amongst Holmes. 9. Work hard, and do your best to Make this the best squad! 10. Never steal from your fellow Holmes as theft shall not be tolerated. This is the end of this part of this post ------------------- 5. THE 4 CORE VALUES ------------------- This part is to tell you the 4 values that a Holmes should follow by heart. 1.Honor: A Holmes must base his actions for honor never for fame and fortune. 2.Justice: A Holmes must never kill an innocent person and must have basis to arrest someone. 3.Bravery: A Holmes must always be brave enough to defend the weak and defenseless no matter what. 4.Loyalty: A Holmes must never back-stab one of his own and must never betray his fellow Holmes ------------------------------ 6. Some within the wardens believe it is holmes fault that the undead in wrath's clutch managed to butcher the wardens. When Holmes tried to arrest the undead, one agent gave away the warden flanking attack, anding two warden's death. Also, a holmes agent locked the gate on the wardens, trapping them in the fortress. There are some reports that UAC members were also killed by the holmes' unperfessional behavior. The most shocking charge, is that a warden was murdered by a traitorous holmes agent. This scandal should be addressed. I also want to know if this was even under holmes jurisdiction. It would be a shameif Aegis lost holmes as an ally against the undead threat.
