It's a little hard to wrap my head around, so don't take what I'm about to say as my full opinion. I really don't like it. The only reason is, if I'm understanding this right, it's a storyline that effects the world in some way. I can just see that no one but the kings/high up nobles/really important people around Anthos could do it, which would just leave almost 99% of the community with no say in how it ends. This can probably be avoided by mob events but still...

I really do like it, but can you guarantee that these events will be held on a pass/fail of the people, and not just 3 or 4 rulers of kingdoms?

Completely the opposite. It's entirely optional to all players whether they participate. Anyone can arrive at any event, regardless of their rank or standing. I can't think of any circumstances where a Nation Leader would take precedence in one of these events over a normal player - at most, they'd be commanding their soldiers.

Definitely something I'd like to see. It would give players more things to do.

I like the idea for several reasons.  One, I feel that it will allow for the community from all nations to unite and get an idea what exactly is happening in Anthos.  Secondly, it will deliver more activity because everyone loves the roleplay, thats why we joined the server.  And lastly, I feel it can promote ideas from perhaps peasants, that go and explore.  Its unique because its not a noble setting it, but anyone can be eligible.

I'd prefer that you keep the events not only for the good-hearted characters, but also for the villains. Maybe keep an option where villainous people can try to hinder the progress of those who are trying to help out in these events?

Some of the events would provide freedom for people to do that, of course. However, it's more something that they'd need to instigate themselves as well - unless we specifically make it so there's room for hindrance. When it comes to events such as that in the OP, that's unlikely to be possible - the mobs are gonna be hostile to anyone.

Can we see some Villain-Centric events? I mean, most of the events I've seen and particpated in lately involve something along the lines of - "You hero. Kill monster/explore something" I know I'll be trying to write up some events  for villains myself, but overall we'd like some love too.

Overall, I like the idea of this.

There could potentially be some smaller-scale events exclusive to VA holders themselves, such as stealing from the vault of a fort - where they'd need to get in past guards, etc - but multiple of them. How that'd work I'm unsure. We'd still leave areas for sabotage by villains in many of the main events however.

That would be amazing. <3

Not like this they aren't. Currently, we don't do different, unique side-storylines that directly affect the state of the world, nor do we make use of locations not currently on the map.

Upon the event starting, we'd make use of a wee plugin we'd have written that'd allow more attractive event-style broadcasts, fancy things on certain names (e.g. an armour chestplate on the name of someone you're meant to be protecting), and things such as that.

Key word recognized. Command received. Initiating work procedures.
