This is a worldwide server, not just an American one... So I don't think U.S. laws are the ones that LotC revolves around.

Do I need to direct you on why Cybering is a serious bannable offense?

You made a post on a very touchy topic which caused the fanning of the flames. I found it quite rude to be honest and thats why I told gaius to tell the GM's or someone to put a stop to that crap. Its rude behavior. We are all playing the same game and we need to get along or go along. Status updates, even though you word them differently, we know what people are trying to do. Frankly freya, The status you posted fanned some pretty big flames on the teutonic order side because you sent a lot more hate towards us. We are just players like everyone else. Just because there is an RP war and someone breaks a rule doesnt mean we need to hate eachother over it.

How in anyway was that rude? She simply made a post that she was thinking, OOCly, that she was beginning to like Blackmonts.

It was nothing to do with the war. I've always RP'd on the side of Salvus and wanted a change of scenery. Not everyone has an ulterior motive in their words, you know.

No no. I was saying just picking a side in general is causing the flame war to even exist. Making a status update about it when it was already a very touchy subject was just adding more kindling on the fire. As I said. Once I saw that status it really needed to stop before someone starts calling someone names and someones feelings get hurt and then in turn all the players on both sides get banned for their bickering.

I think what I meant was misinterpreted. Even if it wasnt directed at us - Picking a side to anything relating to a war right now that is on and off the forums and in game is not a good idea and to make a status update about it would just add more to the fire.

Everyone needs to understand that LotC has no freedom of speech BS or any US laws in general. They have to follow certain guidelines and rules but that does not mean they have to hold up to the constitution of your country. It is not a democracy. Its purely a totalitarian state where the Admins are the deciders of all things.

Listen. I am not targeting freya for her status. I am just merely saying that the status updates of trolling very soon after a war is rude and unwanted. If you guys won then sure. Go ahead and gloat. But do it in RP and dont bring it to the forums to start hate wars.

Look at the time of that report. Go back in time and look through the past status's from that time to current and look at all them. You cannot tell me that they arent heated in any way. There was a good 10+ status's over that report just in general. Freya's being one of them in that time period.

Nobody said you were. But I was talking about RP. As someone who follows the rules of the server, I never let OOC influence my RP, to the fullest extent a human possibly can. My character, seeing that the Blackmonts pretty much stomped on the other forces (in her own opinion), she thought that maybe working alongside them was a good idea.

 

Nothing more. Maybe the fact you're so jittery and quick to jump into an argument like this is half of the problem itself.
