Nation Crossing Warclaim

dwarwes_war_council_by_deeedge-d5kd1te.j

After the recent events of an attack upon a Dwarven Lord, Nalro Grayhammer and continuous breaking of the blood pact by Oren forces, Legion troops work harder than ever during practices. Archers practice in the ranges and  soldiers drill in combat and formations.

After Legion officers sit in a cramped office they finally decide that the first fight will be on the land known as the “Nations Crossing”. A message is sent out to the lieutenants to ready the troops. A message to the Holds to ready their auxiliaries. And finally a message to their allies for a call to arms.

A single grunt breathes heavily as he runs through the tunnels. At last he reaches a tower that stretches high above the ground. As he reaches the top he takes a moment to catch his breath. Then he moves over to a tube sticking up from the ground. On the end sticking up is a mouthpiece. He then moves over to it and, summoning a breath, blows deeply into it. On the sides of the tower a sudden eruption of noise is sent out. The horn not blown for decades sends out a clear call that bounces off the mountain tops and alerts every Dwarf, Human, and Elf loyal to the Empire.

The Dwarven armies, holds, and allies begin to march toward the Nation Crossings ready for battle. The soldiers footsteps coincide with each other while the drums of war beat.

((I have a OOC questions... Oren never conquered the crossing through RP or Military force, why do we have to fight for a crossing they only verbally lay claim too? I can claim salvus but i do not have a military force there so i cant hold it... It's kind of silly))

*Rona sends her Iron Armor to the blacksmith to put golden designs on it for the battle. "As the Orc's say 'Lets Klomp some Ummies".

((it is because Mogroka is not allowing the Dwarves to directly attack Salvus, he is making us go through the crossings first, Since he is the war admin, we can't do anything by comply.))

*Dreek nods and prepares his gutbuster armor, ready to rip some humans to shreds*

((Us dwarves should have the first move considering we are the ones who declared war...))

((You would think right... Well thanks for clearing it up, was just curious why it was at nations crossing)).

((Why on earth is one of the nation leaders war admin? I think we should get someone less likely to choose one side or another.))

(( We aren't fighting for the land of the nation's crossing. It's more like a check point))

Hunwald slowly sharpens his blade at home, preparing for the coming months.

(( Before all wars, an open skirmish is done to see who has the first move. Please, do not claim bias and complain. ))

Wulfric is at the smithy when he hears the horn. As he hammers the blade one more time, he smiles, putting on his legion armor. He takes the blade and sheaths it on his belt. As he walks down the Azgoth streets, he hears men run around, dropping armor and ale everywhere. "Silence!" Shouts some Legion Lieutenant. The noise fades out in a matter of seconds. Wulfric shouts across the hall "Tiem tah armur up lads, legionnaire er naet, grab ye bes' tings. FER FORIN!"

((They're attacking at the cross roads because in rp both armies will probably meet there. The dwarves won't be able to attack Kingston without going through the army. If they win, they can attack Kingston. And seeing at the dwarves are farther away, it would take Oren not so long to mobilized their army. Alright let us have a fun war guys.))

((I am sorry, but that is just idiotic. No, there has not been a skirmish before all wars to see who gets the first move. There has been a skirmish before one war versus the dozen other wars that there was not a skirmish to decide who gets to go first, including the Elven rebellion and Oren's attack on Malinor. And it is not like there has not been GM abuse during wartime before. It has happened with some GMs still on the team, so I believe my reluctance to totally trust someone who clearly is slanted towards one side is completely warranted. It also does not help that so far, his latest policy of opening up the orc desert has almost killed off the orcish race, and that he has not opened up the Orenian and the seized Elven regions to building for regular people like he said he would.))

((You should be kinda glad that you're not attacking a fortified city first while having almost no experience about your enemy's strength, but what do I know....?))

((Why don't we not turn this thread into OOC drama and arguments?

oh crap also roleplay))

Ari hears nothing of this, having been absent from the Palace, Abresi, and Kingston for months now.

All she hears is the near constant howl of a war horn.
