*The sounds of music drift through the halls of Kal’Azgoth
from the Temple of the Brathmordakin and over the crowds of people as the
bustled together into the Temple. Runners had been sent to all the holds and
villages to gather the faithful for the Archbishops sermon, so many people were
in attendance.

As the swarming mass entered the temple they gazed upwards
into the dimness of the high roof as fireworks flew and exploded illuminating
the intricate carvings long hidden in shadow with a multitude of colors.

The crowd then settled into the stone pew, of which many
more than normal had been added. Many still were forced to stand.

As the fireworks stopped shooting and the music died down,
the crowd grew silent and turned to see Archbishop Dominic Irongut move into
the temple flanked by a retinue of Fanatics and Justicars in their formal
gilded armor as well as a single Inquisitor in his black armor and iron mask,
as well as a group of Kirkja Dverga members. As he takes his place on his alter
the crowd claps and cheers before returning to silence at his motion. He then
begins his sermons-* ((Simplifed))

“We find ourselves in dark times! War is upon us! But! Do
not fear, for our cause is the righteous one. We are fighting against Khorvad!
Against Iblees! We are fighting for freedom, not only for ourselves but for the
elves and the halflings. And for the humans themselves as well. I have communed
with the Brathmordakin. Yemekar has spoken to me! He said, “Free them! Free
your fellow kin. Free my creations from the clutches of Khorvad. Banish him
once more into the Nether. Free the world once again.”

* He motions at the stone heads all around the Temple and
then at the crowd*

“They have tasked us with a blessed task and we must not
waver in our resolve. Emperor Horen has shown his true face. He now open calls
himself the Black Dragon. Openly admits his true self. Long has he allowed his minions
to harass us, even under a binding holy blood pact. He even allowed them to
kill one of our beloved Lords! He has conquered the once free and still noble
elves: Conquered the peaceful and kind halfings, our kin. He has enslaved them
all, even his own people!

*He points through the dim temple to the face of Urguan*

“I too have spoken with our Father, Urguan. He said to me, “Dominic,
you must speak with your kin. Tell them of the horrors of Khorvad. Tell them
they must fight. Advise Thorin. Defeate Khorvad. Protect my Empire.” So we
must! For we have been tasked not only by the Brathmordakin but by the highest
and most blessed Paragon, our father Urguan, the perfect creation of Yemekar.
We must not balk, we must not cower. WE MUST FIGHT!! And so we shall. Khorvad
is the darkest being known to us. We must banish him! He is the patron of
dragons, bringer of disease, maker of chaos, and lord of necromancy. He will
burn our town, defile our dead with undeath, and destroy the world. This can
never be allowed to happen. Go now. Go from this hall. Seek those who would aid
us in our most holiest and noble of endeavors. Hamper those who would resist
us. Go now. Gather your arms and armor. Train for the day we will need you to
fight. And do not waiver in your resolve for we will need you. Go now. Thamar
velek oz Kazak. Brathmordakin akhoral nar ghoran thamar. Thorok Lakh. We march
to war. Brathmordakin guide and aid us. Good Day.”

*The music starts up again as the Sermon ends. The
Archbishop and his guards and priest stay to give blessings and speak with the
attendants as the file out.”

Deep under the temple Hiebe hears of the sermon and nods his head. In his deep meditation he has been visited by Yemekar and Urguan and well as Dwain and his own father.

Oddly, somewhere in the snows outside, a green figure stands, looking up at the mighty dwarfholds, and listening, though one could not possibly hear from such a distance. Kargul'Agrak grins, shuffling some snow off his foot with the other, and checking his weapons.

"Da gazat am hozh, tu klomp agenz Ibleez. Mi blah da urukz--diz uruk, aniwai--klompz wif em!"

Kargul unsheathes and raises his weapons in a grim salute, preparing for war against humanity.
