Bone Tokens

A sign written in orcish is also translated to common next to it.

The Trog is now using Bone Tokens as the currency. All official trade will not be conducted with the special bones, fashioned to be used a money that orcs can see value in. I. Grool, will explain why we are switching to this currency.

The mina is evil undead magic currency. It magically flies around from people's pockets and is not trustworthy, Do you remember when all of it just suddenly disappeared. I suspect that some sort of evil mage did it. Also, what is the value in this paper and coins. No one killed anyone trying to make it. These bones are harvested from dead citizens of our enemies. Depending on the token, it could  be made of any of the other races or animals such as the kha. Just remember that some orc's bloodlust was taken out on the stupid mush head that wanted to klomp an orc.

Also, this new currency is rewarded to you for helping out around camp like you already do and going on raids. It will be redeemable for weapons and armor as well houses at the Trog. Every orc will start out with a stipend of 10 a week with 32 to start you off. Hopefully we will have merchants that try to sell us things, pay them in bone tokens or barter, do not use the evil minas. These bones are actually worth something unlike the paper and useless metal of the humans. Do you want to trade like a pinkie?

You can trade in Minas at an exchange rate for bone tokens.

Houses:100 bone tokens

Cactus Green: 1 Bone Token

(longer list to be posted)

An additional idea is to pay the winners of the arena fights on a day to day basis as well as the top 10 on the Arena champion board. This is just so orcs can still support themselves on mainly klomping if they are hosh at it. Talk to Grool about rewards in game.

((OOC: There are going to be haters. Let us give it a chance guys. I am trying to create roleplay for the orcs with this. Should add an interesting twist when trying to trade with us for other merchants as well as many other opportunities. They are a physical item in game which makes sense to me.))

I rather like this idea. Up to this point, I have not had a main that was an orc. I can't really apply this to my roleplay, since it's mostly halfling, but you might see me in the near future, stinking up the Trog.

((And skeletons, unless that doesn't count. Besides, even if he is the only source he gives them out for being in the Trog.))

Should ass an interesting twist when trying to trade with us for other merchants as well as many other opportunities.

((Should ass a twist indeed.

In all seriousness, I was flabbergasted how great this idea is. Such a great idea Grool, I'm so excited to hang around the Trog now.))

Gronkk grabs the poster and squee's with excitement.

Will there be any market stalls opened up in the Trog?

How stalls will work is that there are three along the side of the arena. Each is opened from the back. You can sell out of your inventory or a chest, but once you are finished for the day, you have to pack up all your stuff. You must attend your stall in order to claim it for yourself. It expires when you leave.
