Day of The Great Fall

In an unknown hallway within the Dwarven city of Kal'Azgoth a great Dwarf known among the kin has fallen. In this unknown year, in this unknown month, in this unkown day, let it be known that today was the day the great Dwarf Lord Gorum Frostbeard has fallen down from the stairs while carrying his books. He was rushing, so he was unable to recover from this fall. As a result, his left ankle broke along with his pelvic bone, and his right knee.

Gorum approaches the podium, using his grand muscular arms to do so.

" I, Lord Gorum Frostbeard, HAVE BROKEN MY LEG! "

Gasps could be heard among the dwarves, how could such a good looking dwarf break his leg?

" I was walking down the stairs with some proposals for the Lords Council, then I just fell. "

More gasps could be heard, how could such an acrobatic dwarf fall?

" For that, I apologize. I am unable to fulfill my duties as Lord if I cannot even carry the papers to the meeting! "

Gorum looks to the left, a tear forming in his eye as he gazes upon the grey hair in his beard. His time has come.

" To Thorin Grandaxe, I relenquish my position as Lord of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. I apologize but I cannot function without my pelvic, knee, or ankle. "

Gorum crawls off the podium, dragging his body out of the city to sit in his retirement home at the Emerald Isles.

Legend says that Gorum was not seen for the next year. Anybody attempting to visit him would be mugged by the Dwarves of the ghetto that formed around Gorums glamerous mansion. Some think he is dead, but nobody truly knows.

Somewhere and somehow, Thondorin Bronzekraig feels an... odd feeling. As if someones fallen, and they can't get up...

Smoke snaps his head up in an instant from his daily nap within Ac'Talareh. He looks up at the sky, blinks for a few moments then grasps his head.

"That's funny... I felt a disturbance in the force for a moment there."
