Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Lux
was born just in a simple, love filled cottage just on the edge of Lin’evaral where no one really even knew about
him. After he was born while the moon was glistening as it floated in the night
sky, his mother and father held him in hope for him to make something out of
his self. From that day, he never had fit in as a child. Lux was more of an
independent wellbeing that liked to dwindle with the wonders of nature and keep
to himself in his little room. He collected many writings and pictures of the
best known scholars that have ever lived as he grew. With the great ambitions
of becoming one of those most know high elves, he studied and learned to
himself while others would interact with their peers. Lux was very studious as
he went past his years of education on the upcoming of his manhood. On the
verge of him of him turning 180, he thought he should start to venture and see
the many wonders of Lin’evaral so he would know more about his land as he
entered the real world in a few years.



Living on the outskirts Lin’evaral as
a child, he didn’t even know where to start so he waited for his parents to be
able to join him on his tour of the city. But before he sought to expand his
knowledge this great moment, something drastically painful happened to him that
made him even more cold hearted than he already was. On the night of getting
prepared for his journey, he had gone out to get a few small supplies while he
left his parents at home. As he anxiously walked him, he thought of the spectacular
moments he would have... until he trembled step by step towards his now
demolished home. As he slowly walked through what was his front door, he became
more and more broke inside by every glance he took at all the memories that he
used to have .Not knowing anything about this tragedy; he could not comprehend
what had happened. He walked with dangling tears on the edge of his face
throughout his whole home. Lux then saw a ragged note from his beloved parents
laying on his ripped pillow that gave the explanation for this event. “Dear
Lux, many years before we had you in our arms, we had a different past than
what you know that required us to lie and steal to make a foundation for you.
There are many things we cannot explain in this note that are far too complex
for us not to tell you in person. In the great future, we will hope you will
have the skills and traits to find us one day in our hiding so we can tell you
of our past. We have left our home to so that you may run the rest of your life
on your own path. Your father has left his old, carved bow that you always shot
outside under your bed. We are trying to do what is best for this family and we
love you.”



Those final words from his
parents dangled in his head for the next few years during his schooling. With
no other family, he was completely alone and had to thrive by himself in his community.From
that point forward, he felt he needed to be more prepared for anything that he
may encounter so he has practiced his archery and stealth in secret so that no
one would ever know. Lux still has not been able to find out about his parents
past or what may even happen to him. But one day, he will find out. Whatever it
is. He will know.



Ambitions for the Future: To find his parents and their past, train himself
for anything, and to become a well known scholar

Personality: Lux is a very shy elf that is extremely independent. Lux doesn’t
have many friends but is very open to the ones he has. He is a very nimble and
fast person with not much upper body strength. Lux is a very courageous person
yet likes to think out situations before he makes a decision. He believes in
standing for others that can’t do it for themselves but is unyielding to the
evil in the world. His temper is a weakness of his that he needs to control
better and he is a very knowledgeable elf.

Skills: Archery, knowledge, stealth, and persuasive

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Pretty thin
with a silver circlet on his head (from his parents on their disappearance) of
light blonde hair that the circlet holds up so it doesn’t fall into his face.
He has converted his father’s old light gray robe into a partial shirt too with
a black lining. Also, Lux has a leather sling on him that holds his arrows. He
wears light brown leather pants so that he can be flexible in the forest and
wears dark gray cloth shoes with a dyed dark blue front. Any other details you wish to share
about your character: Lux always uses the option of using a ranged weapon in
battle (bow) and not having to be hurt in battle by using stealth.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of
whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older
elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?



Answer: While Lux is walking through the more thick area of the woods trying to
practice archery, he quickly scans his surroundings when he hears a talking. He
finally finds out where the source of noise is coming from and it is a group of
older high elves picking on a small wood elf. Yet Lux is a high elf, there is
nothing right about anyone being bullied. Lux quickly intervenes and calls
out,” What do we have here guys? Do I see you bullying this wood elf?” The
tallest one says,” We are just messing with him a little. Pushing him around...
We were even discussing about hanging him up in a tree by his little ankles.”
They all laugh until they see the tragic reaction on my face. I yell as a
sheath my carved bow and iron tipped arrows,” Well, I would advise you guys to
leave now before I have to think about what I will do to you after I take you
guys down. One by one.” They seem to be around 150 (15) years old so I know
they will back off. Before Lux could pull his arrow over his bow, they had
already rushed back onto the path to their homes. Lux helped up the light and
fragile, young wood elf and dusted his little body off. Lux asked him,” Are you
lost, do you need any help from me?” He exclaimed,” No kind sir, you have
already given me enough help! I was going back to my small tree house in the
woods that way (he pointed northwest which led deep into the woods) from
picking some berries on the side of this dirt road.” “Well, you have a great
rest of your evening and be sure to be careful” Lux softly says. “Thanks
mister!” the wood elf says as he skips off into the forest. Lux then decides to
return to his in hope nothing like that will happen again.



2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail
old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the
ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins,
which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The
man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?



Answer: “Sir!?” Lux yells.“Sir, are you ok?” The old man seems like he is
struggling to keep consciousness so Lux has to think fast before this may
become a life or death situation. He looks at the man and watches his very
movements to study his reactions to what is happening. Slow eye movement, lack
of energy, and unable to stand at all. Lux read a scribe about this a few weeks
ago that described this dilemma with these symptoms. He finally knew it; he had
dangerously low blood sugar. Lux then looked for the nearest source of sugar
since he had no food on him at all. His eye then catches a bush with small red
berries that he recognized so he sprinted and grabbed a handful. Lux then fed
one by one of the berries to the old man by helping him move his jaw up and
down to chew the berries. It takes near a minute to see improvements in the old
man and by that time, Lux had cleaned up everything he had dropped and had it
ready for him. The small, frail man finally go up and said,” Oh high elf, thank
you so much for saving my life. I had just realized I had forgot, my food at
home when I started to feel weak. How can I ever repay you for this kind deed?”
Lux then gave him a soft hug and whispered,” Nothing is needed from a wise soul
like yours.” He was one of the most known scholars Lux had read about and was
too honored to even be in his presence.



3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small
clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and
calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells
just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price.
What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and
the discussion involved).



Answer: As Lux walked towards the vender, an image of one of the items that was
on his carriage was a nice leather rubbed satchel made from a species of cow
leather that is very resistant to most types of weather. Lux had read about
that material and the overall price per square inch of the leather a few days
earlier in a news letter that had been given to him. He waits until the vendor
yells,” 30 minas for the satchel!” Lux replies back,” The most I will pay for
that softly made piece of leather work is 18 minas.” He sharply yells,” 18
minas? That is extremely under priced my good sir!” Lux explains hastily,” Sir,
this is poorly made leather work with a soft leather and you’re lucky I am even
going up to 18 minas.” Throwing in a compliment with a little lie is Lux’s
strategy to haggling things. In submission, he says,” I guess you may be right
with all of your reasoning. Here is the satchel and you have a splendid day.”
With a big grin on my face as I walk away, I say,” Don’t worry, I will!”
