*An emissary is sent to the kingdoms of Adunia, Savoie, and Oren bearing to royal seal of the Grand king of Urguan.*

 

 

 

By the command of the Grand king Thorin Grand axe the leaders of the nations of Adunia, Savoie, and Oren are to hold council within the the halls of Kal'Azgoth with the Grand king in order to discuss the recent hostilities and conflicts in which have arisen from human lands. Each delegation is to consisted of the ruler of the kingdom, one ambassador, one guard, and are to be presented to the Grand king. It is in the interests of the Grand kingdom, and likely of others, to resolve the current conflicts that have arisen as of late. War must be averted and our attention turned to what is truly at hand. We await word from each of you, absence from these delegations will be looked upon unfavorably.

King William Horen III, the Once, Present, and Future King of the Most Serene Kingdom of Oren, heir to the Dynasty of the Black Dragon, Lord and Protector of Al Khazar, Divine of the True Church of the Creator, Archduke of Meric and Renatus, Mightiest of Dragon Slayers, Shield of Humanity, Servant of the True God, Silver Knight of Oren, Eternal Marshal of the Armies of Mankind, Captain of the Holy Orders of Knighthood, Bestower of Titles, Maker of Honor, Smith of Bravery, Father of Justice, and Chosen of Heaven enters the council chambers in Kal'Azgoth being followed by a small retinue of Knights of the Sons of the Creator, the Knights following him wearing their white tabards with the golden Lorraine cross on their chests. William himself in his youthful appearance wearing his Silver Coloured armour with his purple cloak around the armour as he was in a colder climate, on his belt lies the sword "Triumph" his newly forged sword to replace his mundane longsword

 

 

on the Kings back sheath however rested his Maul forged by the one and only Uthor Silverblade

William then stops at the entrance of the Council Chambers where the Kings are to meet and awaits being greeted by whomever is leading the council.

*Dizzy greets the king of Oren and his retinue, he calls for some servants to show the kings knights to a place with some food and drink and shows the king and his chosen two into the chambers himself. He offers some food and drink to the king as well*

 

"I thank ye fer comin King Willian o-Oren. Now await the arival o-tha leaders of tha otha nations. Please du be seated, yer men will be treated kindleh. Can I offer ye anythin while we wait?"

William gives off a friendly smile to Dizzy nodding to the two Knights to be at ease

 

"Thank you my lord, I'll have some of that famous Kal'Azgoth Ale I keep hearing about, perhaps a selection of cold meets and some fine bread would be appreciated. Thank you very much for receiving me."

 Lachlan Mor the First, King of Adunia,Mormaer of Ard Carraigh, Earl of Ildon and Lord of Ildicia, Over Lord of Gallmore and Claxdon, Lord of the Adunians,The Mace Catcher, Defender of the Auld, and Knight of the Order of Harren, ride forth to Kal'Azgoth. He wears his families tartan over his thick leather tunic and fine green shirt. Atop his head sits the circlet of Harren and behind his back is Durendal.

 

 "Ride! We must get there soon." He calls out to his retainers, leading a long line of mounted Knights and Chieftains. As they near the gates of Azogth, they slowly come to a halt, dismounting.

 

 "Sirs Edward, Edward, and Gryphin, stay on alert, Gavin,Belon,ye're with me, Father Vaerus, try not to get killed." Lachlan says, heading into the city. They now wait outside the palace, waiting to be let in.

Crown Prince Carrion, ambassador for Savoie, enters the designated council chambers and takes a seat. He waits for the meeting to begin.

*After attending to the king of Oren a servant informs Dizzy of the arrival of the Adunian King. He moves to receive them into the council chambers*

Welcome tu ye King o-Adunia. I will 'ave sum men tend tu yer extra retinue, as fer yerself and tha two o-yer chosen please follow meh.

*shows them into the council chambers calling the servants to tend to his men. Offering him some food and drink he proceeds*

King Lachlan o-Adunia, we already 'ave tha pleasure o-'avin King William 'oren o-Oren 'ere. Please, get yerself acquainted wit each otha and 'ave sum refreshments. All we must wait fer now is tha King o-Savioe

*Shortly after greeting the Adunian king he notices the less dramatic entry then the other rulers by the prince of Carrion. He turns to address him*

Greetins tu ye as well lord o-Savoie, 'ave some refreshments as well. Now dat we are all gathered I will call upon T'orin tu start tha delegations.

*sends a servant off to inform Grand King Thorin Grandaxe that the delegations are here*

*A Scribe clears his throat as he begins to announce the Grand King entering the room*

 

"His Grand Majesty - Grand King Thorin Grandaxe, the first of his name, ruler of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and the Kingdoms of Salvus, Savoie, Oren, Karakatuan and Adunia, Slayer of Skarux the Alpha Dragon of the North, Holy Protector of the Human race and Liberator of the Elves and Halflings,”

 

* The Grand King arrives in the throne room, followed by two Golems, the Human Nobles looking at the Grand King, as he scans the room with his single eye, he begins trudging towards the Obsidian Throne, with every breath laboriously sounding like his last, bringing himself to his throne, each step sounding like a crack - he begins to sit, his two golems standing besides his Throne, his two Runic Arms resting on the armrests of the Obsidian Throne.*

 

*A scribe, looks at the king, then looks down at his scroll, announcing a formal welcome*

 

“His Grand Majesty Thorin Grandaxe would like to welcome his good, loyal friends - William Horen III, the grand majesty of the Kingdom of Oren, Lachlan Mor, the grand majesty of the Kingdom of Adunia.”

 

*The Scribe looks for the King of Savoie, not being able to find him the scribe shrugs and looks at the Grand King, the Grand King looking at the Scribe with the Grand Kings breath heavy and daunting, the scribe then quickly begins to clear his throat and shuffle his scroll*

“The Grand King would also like to give his most sincere apologizes that the King of Savoie, Goddard is unable to be present in todays meeting, however the Grand King welcomes the Crown Prince of Savoie and he requests that the Kings and the Crown Prince take their seats as the meeting is about to proceed. “

 

“His Majesty would also like to remind everyone, that any violence during this visit will result in either: castration, beheading, maiming, burning by lava, burning by iron-casting, death by dragon, death by peasents, death by Orc, death by Golem or hanging.”

 

*Thorin Grandaxe then nods at the Scribe and the Lords as the meeting begins*

 

“The Grand King has summoned the three human Kings of Savoie, Oren and Adunia to discuss the conflicts between the three Kingdoms, namely, Savoie and Adunia. The Grand King would like the Kings of both of these Kingdoms to present their cases so that the Grand King may be able to make his judgement over what should happen between these two warring factions.The Grand King would like to first summon King Lachlan Mor of Adunia to present his case against the Kingdom of Savoie, and what he wishes for to happen to the Kingdom of Savoie..”

 

“Furthermore, the Grand King would also like to call the Crown Prince of Savoie to repeat the letter  that he had been sent to him by Savoie about the actions of Adunians King, Lachlan Mor and to enforce his case against the Kingdom of Adunia and what he wishes to happen about the Kingdom of Adunia.”

“The Grand King would also request that his majesty King William Horen voices his opinion over the matter between Adunia and Savoie, and what the King of Oren intends to do in this conflict.”

*Lachlan rises from his seat and bows. "Thank you, your Grand Majesty."

 

He resumes his seat and begins to explain the Adunian's strife."Your Majesty, things between Kralta and Adunia were once peaceful, we rebuilt the Temerian Bridge together, traded, and fought together against the undead of the North. Then things changed, Galahar joined Savoie as a substate and Flay raids started happening more and more. The Flay's may not be an official group, but Brutus Flay and his men of the Dreadfort commit very /real/ crimes. Besides raids, they have kidnapped the Lord Claxdon from Adunia, in which we Adunians and Orener's fought to retrieve him from the Dreadfort. I was then kidnapped also, and tortured. They robbed me and carved the name "Scav" into my arm..."Lachlan shudders at the fact a Flay's name is now etched into his skin.

 

"Then Strelts began makin' threats and attackin' Adunia, claiming we wanted war. Yet we have only defended ourselves against the Men of Savoie. They have fired siege weapons on my people, attempted to kidnap people burn crops, stolen ships and so much more. They bring Orc's into this war and violate the Law's of Urguan that you have written and passed."

 

Lachlan takes a deep breath, trying to contain his anger with the men of Savoie."I wish Adunia's lands left alone by the men of Savoie, and recognized that the lands are Adunia's, under the Empire of Urguan. These are my only wishes, Your Majesty." Sits down, awaiting Prince Carrion to plead his case.

Crown Prince of Savoie Siegmund Sarkozic the First of Name of House Carrion, Lord Paramount of the Crimson Isles, Duke of Raev and Corpathia, Marquess of Kralta, Count of Augustine and Greymarsh, Baron of Owlswood, Master of the Krelmstad, Lord Patriarch of House Carrion and House de Sarkozy, Archon of House Basileus, heir to the dynasty of the White Eagle and the Crescent Moon of the Rhenyar, Crowsblood heir to the Barbonovic and Kosanovic dynasties, Champion of the Raevir people and Lord of Crows sneezes.

He then rises from his seat to address the council, speaking in his flair of broken common.

 

"While I rule former Flayish kingdom as Lord Paramount of the Crimson Isles, as title suggest land has not been reformed as of yet in full induction to Savoie. Flayish rogues have run rampant as oathless war mongerers, striking all three kingdoms represented today. Kralta itself has been struck by brutal Brutus and dwarven mercenaries only so long ago. We would band against quelling this threat as kingdoms; but Adunia's crimes come on par with bandit warbands, and I make plea to our council to heed my word."

 

Long before strelesy and Adunian skirmishes, Adunian plans to invade Kralta existed. Lachlan Mor Elendil had pinned crimes of these oathless brigands against Kralta, yet these crimes were committed all across Oren; from the Dreadfort to Abresi to even Kralta. His people clearly wanted these brigands punished, yet Lachlan instead took scapegoat with Kraltan strelesy, deeming them harborers of bandit menace. And if you wish for proof of his war-mongering intent, you look at this letter."

 

Siegmund motions for his guard to pass a letter about the members of the council, bearing signature of the Gallmore leader.

 

"That letter was one which I forwarded to your Grand King with other lists of grievances against the Adunian kingdom. They had planned black flag operations prior to military conflict between Savoie and Adunia; but not against flayish brigands, but Savoyard ports of Greymarsh and Crimson Isles. It is clear they hold self-propagating ambitious intent to unite Northern Kingdoms but with blood, steel, and fury to its human nobility. Lachlan has also made this visible to me; coming to my castle of Krelmstad and demanding that I cede to his demands or witness destruction to Kralta. His demands implied that I kinslay and rebel against my liege and cousin, Owyn II. They have made threats to Salvus in annexation, and have located their capital, Ildon, only river's cross from Kralta, to ignite conflict between peoples. It is clear they simply plot destruction of all civil unions between humanity, and dwarf-human relations.

 

Lachlan's claims are false; all conflict between Kralta and Ildon has been ignited by Adunians; they have fired siege weaponry upon us first and sallied out against us first. No Orcs have been involved in this conflict in any shape or form as of yet.

 

I shall recite my grievances against Adunia.

 

Lachlan’s crimes are as followed, grief against the Salvan peoples; threatening them with war with no true justification, grief against the Savoyard people; threatening them with war with no true justification, declaration of war against Kralta under false justifications, approached myself threatening imminent destruction unless they rebel against His Holiness Owyn, spreading falsehoods, claims that the Savoyard people associate with rogue bandits,disunion against the Grand Kingdom; threats to slew innocent peasantry and burn Kralta for crimes of oathless brigands half way across the Northern Kingdoms, poor administration of Kaedrin, placing Ildon dangerously close to Kralta to raise tension, along with no blood claim to former Chivay land, consorting against dwarven law, with attempts to submit to Orenian vassalage to avoid righteous punishment for their crimes and attempts at fulfilling ill bred and sinful ambition, consorting against Oren law, aiding treasonous oathbreakers to go against their king, William Horen, violate their non-aggression pact with Savoie, false claims to marriage alliance with Oren, as his wedding was with one of Hightower descent, a branch too far removed from William Horen's bloodline to claim proper alliance and only assosciated out of formality after Horen V's rule, orders to vassal states to assault kingdoms within your crown before war was declared under black flag operations, indicating his plans for senseless war,firing siege at Kralta, purposely inciting conflict between innocent Kralta strelesy and his Adunian retinues to fabricate claims to war, threats and crimes against the True Faith, failure to defend his people against aforementioned oathless bandits, choosing instead to ignore them and attack innocent Kraltans as scapegoat for his ineptiude and inane, demonic ability to catch full-powered mace swings."

 

Lachlan's title and claim to Adunia should be revoked for his crimes, and his lands bestowed to Savoyard people to insure harmonious civil union and just reparations among our Northern Kingdoms."

King Lachlan Mor Elendil of Adunia has requested our aid in the upcoming war against the treacherous Kingdom of Savoie.

 

As Gallmore does not have a standing military to deploy to foreign conflicts, this would normally pose a problem if we wished to keep our Leige Adunia pleased.

 

Adunia requests naval support against Savoie, however most of our government warships

are out of commissions due to lack of crew.  Yet, while meeting with a few of my Viziers we were able to come up with a soluion that should please all of Gallmore.  That solution is Operation Black Flag

 

All resident non-government affiliated crews have been given the  go ahead to freely  sack and raid Savoie ports while harrassing their naval power. 

 

Raids are requested to start BEFORE the war is declared to soften up and disorient Savoie's defenders.  Crews are authorized to use deadly force and told to keep 100% of what they loot as payment.  During this stage all ships are required to fly under the black flag.

 

Once the war is started, all pirate crews will recieve a Letter of Marque from the Kingdom of Adunia granting legal rights to raid Savoie cities, attack ships and kidnap hostages. 

 

The kidnapping and recruitment of more crew and vessels will be rewarded by the Office of Proconsul Gestahl.
