As you stand within the entrance of the Grandaxe Hall, you notice that a small letter rests upon the table. As you look closer, you see that it is addressed to Grand King Thorin Grandaxe. If one were to open the letter, it would read as follows.

"To Grand King Thorin Grandaxe,

Due to recent events that have transpired within the past year, I have decided upon a matter of grave importance. In order to strive for the betterment of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the gods we serve, I have chosen to venture into the far north, in a prolonged effort to ensure the location of the Thanic Ore does not fall into the hands of our enemies. Such knowledge, combined with a golem anvil could indeed affect the delicate balance that we seek to preserve. It is therefore within our best interests to ensure that the ore is kept hidden and safe from prying hands. This role is indeed a burden but a burden I must bear.

In doing so, I must hereby declare my resignation from the Lord's Council. Regrettably, my duties as a Lord did not last as long as I had originally anticipated and for that, I apologise. However, if there is one last piece of advice I must offer you Thorin, it is this. The face of the dwarven Kingdom has changed dramatically over the last few decades of your reign. Though much good has been accomplished, I fear we are slowly losing our way and in doing so, straying from the path that we were set upon by our forefathers. It is not in our nature to rule over those who reside in foreign lands, nor does it serve any particular benefit to our dwarven kin. The human Kingdoms serve only as a drain upon our resources, their warring and petty bickering a blight upon the unity of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Though we pride ourselves on honour and justice, the Kingdom has steadily become an Empire in all but name. I believe if we are to restore the old ways, we must give up most if not all of the human Kingdoms, though retain our ties and alliances. Only when the humans attempt to form a second Empire should we ever seek to stop them.

As I may not return from this journey, I have decided it best to leave all but a small amount of my personal belongings to my closest of kin.

- To the Grandaxe Clan, I leave the wealth I have garnered over the years. May it be of some use in the years to come.

- To the Grand Kingdom's treasury, I leave twenty five thousand mina, to be used for whatever the Grand King and his Lord's Council see fitting.

- To Grand King Thorin Grandaxe, I return to you the key to the golem known now as 'Khorok.' May he forever serve our kin in the years to come.

- To High Remembrancer Wulfric Grandaxe, I leave to him the books of our history that were recovered from within the great libraries of Khaz'Ardol. It is my hope that perhaps he is able to decipher them and restore what history was lost during the Great Collapse."

At the bottom of the letter, there is a signature, written in large bold letters, carefully scribed across the page.

"May Yemekar guide you along your path to glory,
Morgrim Grandaxe, son of Valen."

Beneath the signature is a seal, bearing the sigil of the Grandaxe Clan.

((OOCly, I won't have as much time due to University next month, and think it's only fair if I leave my IC positions to a more active role player. Once again, good luck to everyone and feel free to send me a message on skype or teamspeak if you need anything.))

Thorik sees the letter and reads it carefully, he runs a hand threw his white beard as he reads it and sighs deeply. Morgrim had decided to do something rash once more. Thorik finishes reading the letter and is about to turn around as he coughs heavily, his left hand races to his chest as a pain rips threw it. After a while he gathers himself, and fully turns around. "Dun' be gone fer tuu lung nuw Morgrim". He walks out of the Clan hall, and to the Aviary. He sends off a letter, but to whom nobody but Thorik knows.

Wulfric sits in the Grandaxe Hall with other Grandaxes as a letter arrives specifically to him. He reads the letter to himself as he lights his pipe. He takes out some pipeweed from his pocket and lights it. "Ah hope he can return vereh suun"
