Allowed Mods And Not Allowed Mods

Hello there, I just want to go over some stuff with some of the new players and just show you which mods you can use and which you can not use I will provide a link to those that are allowed if I missed anything on the banned list or accepted list please make a post and I shall update this thread.:

 

Allowed:

1. Macros Keybind Mod:  http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/467504-162-macro-keybind-mod-0910/

Macros allows you to set something so if you set "Hello" to the key g it will say hello when you press the key (Shift + `+ G). Quite useful for hard to remember commands.

2. Armor Status HUD, Potion effects HUD, Direction HUD: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1114612-162-bspkrs-mods-armorstatushud-directionhud-statuseffecthud/

These set an HUD for you to see you armor level on screen or potion effects or which direction you are facing without having to open your inventory during battles and such.

3. REI's minimap: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/482147-162-jul08-reis-minimap-v34-01/

REI's minimap creates a minimap in the corner of the screen showing the area around NOTE: YOU CAN NOT USE THE CAVE MAPPING FUNCTION AS IT WOULD BE META GAMING THIS IS ILLEGAL.

4. Any Shaders: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/940974-162sonic-ethers-unbelievable-shaders-and-glsl-shaders-mod/

Any shaders are allowed. SEUS, GSLS it does not matter this is recommended if you have the correct graphics card.

5. Not enough items. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/909223-162-smp-chickenbones-mods/

This one is actually hard to decide on It allows you to see a menu in which blocks ID's and there name are used which is useful if you forget names or want to see what would look better it WOULD allow you to spawn items but you have to have the servers perms which none but GM's and Admins have so I see no need why it should not be allowed. YOU CAN TURN OFF NEI WITH E/O KEYS

6. MPM http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1122495-152-more-player-models/

more player models is used to make your character smaller bigger and more realistic not yet updated to 1.6.2

7. Chat bubbles mod: http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/chat-bubbles/

allows you to see what the exact player said a s a bubble appears over there head.

ILLEGAL MODS:

Hacked clients: hacked clients are highly illegal if you are caught with them that is it for you, perm ban. If you use them the GMs will find out.

 

XRAY MOD: Any X-ray mod or XRAY texture pack is illegal as it can give unfair advantages in RP or OOC. 

 

Flying mods: Any flying mods are illegal you will also be caught and banned if you are using a flying modification.

 

Auto click mod: Auto click is banned since the server is now PVP default you would have an unfair advantage.

Wode you would be surpassed how many people use illegal mods :I just making it quite clear as half of the applicants do not read the rules they just say they did

-ET can't spawn in items.

-You said "we" will find out... You ain't a GM boy.

-You implied any texture packs are illegal. Might wanna change that.

Just some feedback. Do please mind thst this may also be considered backseat moderating, which is against the rules.

Haha I got to remember my mods :P and no problem blade I, did not know that about the ET just heard as for that i'm fixing everything up.

 

EDIT: Fixed thank your for the feedback blade also this isn't backseat moderating I am not doing the GMs its like saying a guide giving a player a little help when they join is backseat moderating, they're just helping.

The colour kind of hurts my eyes, but the second mod looks really cool! Unfortunately both Forge and Modloader hate me at the moment, but i'll probably try it in the future.

Nodus has been discontinued, there is no 1.6.2 version. Say something along the lines of "No hacked clients which give you an advantage over other players"

EDIT: Also might want to add Better Sprint mod to the list of allowed mods, makes sprinting WAY easier.

What's everyone fussing about? It's a good guideline for which mods you can use and is full of good mod suggestions. Not everyone has common sense or the know-how to look for mods themselves.
