Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I have roleplayed on

WoW before playing my role as a fierce human warrior, very much like the

character I am currently creating.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yes, I have

played on a server called MassiveCraft.

How did you hear about us?: - On YouTube from a brilliant YouTuber that

goes by the name of Candle.

What do you think the server will be like? - A strong and well

built community with a lot of friendly and serious roleplayers. Also some great

battles that will hopefully be fair and fun.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I agree that they

are fair, and are there, to enhance the experience.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -

The rule that we have to use relevant skins to the roleplaying universe, and no

irrelevant and non-roleplaying skins. I believe that this rule will make the

roleplaying experience more fun for players.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know

about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you

write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - To play the role of

a fictional or non-fictional character without breaking that role,

and also playing as that character. Much like how an actor has to be a role,

and act and think like that character. So on a whole, acting, thinking, and

becoming a particular role.

What’s metagaming?: - Using, let's say skype to transfer information

between characters, this would be information that they wouldn't have been able

to find out, and would be breaking the roleplay. On a whole, it is using the

outside world to transfer information, or strategies, or tactics, that the

ingame characters wouldn't know.

What’s powergaming?: - Forcing an action upon another player, i.e

Johnny shoves a sword through bobs heart, leaving him dead. This is powergaming

because Johnny did not give Bob a chance to decide whether he wanted to die or not.

The more correct thing would be; Johnny takes a stab at Bobs chest, now Bob can

decide what happens i.e Bob leaps out the way, and misses the blade by inches. On

a whole, powergaming is forcing an action upon someone/something and not

giving them a chance to react.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make

sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character

that you actually want to play.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, Northerner (Warrior)

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 44

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Houndors story begins

when he was but an 11 year old boy, living in the northen region of Anthos, with noone but his mother on a small farm. His mother was poor and on her own at this

time, and so he did not know his father, because his father died when he was

but a 2 year old boy. This made him sad, how everyone would point at him and

call him bastard and fatherless. But on one night, Houndor jolted out of his

bed due the shrieking and laughing of men outside. He ran downstairs to cuddle

by his mother. But the voices grew louder, and his mother threw him under the

table as the doors burst open as 3 filthy and ugly men stepped inside. 2 of the

men held his mother down, as the other shoved a sword through her heart. The boy

could feel a blood curdling rage at this point. He grabbed the kitchen knife

and lunged forward at the man, stabbing him in the neck. The other two men

grabbed the boy and pressed the right side of his face against the fire. The

boy screamed and screamed but the men only let go when they heard a

commotion going on outside. This is how his fear of fire started. Houndor

grew up only wanting to kill the two men who had escaped. So when he turned 19,

he set out to find them, and he did. He cut open the first one, and shoved a

knife through the second ones eye. This is how his love of killing

started. When he became 28 he was already 6'6, stocky and strong. By

this point he had decided to set out to go on his own ventures. Houndor was out

travelling one night and stopped at a tavern. While he was sitting in a

darkened corner drinking wine, a dwarf named Gronn came up to him and asked him

about his burns, laughing as he did, Houndor did not reply. Gronn grabbed on

Houndors long hair and spat in his face. Houndor leaped up sending the dwarf

hovering in the air, clutching onto Houndors hair as he rose. Houndor quickly

pulled out his dagger and cut Gronn across the face, leaving him falling and clutching his face were the blade left a wound. Gronn, scared, shocked and overpowered, ran off and went to tell

everyone of this giant with great burns on his face. This made Houndor famous

of course, and rumours spread and stories with them. Stories of how he got his

burns, and stories of how he loved to kill and stories of his battles, the

stories of how he got his burns of course were fake, but not the battle ones. And

so Houndor became quite well known around Anthos, being the giant man with

great burns. Now he is 44 years old and still roaming the lands of Anthos,

playing the role of a warrior, mysterious, and mainly on his own. Someday

wishing to fight in the vanguard of an army...

What are they like (personality)?: - Houndor is moody and mysterious

due to his past. And when angered, he gets VERY angry. He will tell noone about

how he got his burns, but if he hears anyone talking about how he got them.

They'd wish they never had. Despite all this though. Houndor is willing to help

people out, if they are respectful to him that is. He is also very very strong,

and a brilliant swordsman.

What are their ambitions?: - To fight in great battles, to set up a

nice house, maybe even start up a brotherhood. And maybe even become a high

rank in the army.

Do they have any special skills?: - Due to his tall and stocky body, he

has immense strength, and is brilliant at wielding any kind of sword.

What are their weaknesses?: - Fire,

he loathes fire. He hates big fires more but he still hates fire on a

whole.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Long

brown hair, brown eyes, right side of face has fatal burns so barely hair

grows, thick brown beard, white skin, sullen and unfriendly expression, 6’6,

240lbs, stocky and big.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - I know that my character can technically not be better at anyone at swords without posting a lore application, that is why his sword skills are just for petty roleplay if anyone asks what his number one skill is.
