Nothing's perfect.

It's just one thing after another, the mountain of ten thousand steps, that once you reach the top, you find yourself at the base of an even larger mountain to climb, and after that? Another and another. It's never enough, it WILL NEVER BE. No matter what happens or what is said or done or if every single little thing asked was done, no one would ever be happy because no one wants to be. They just want to be miserable gits all the damn time and it is pulling the server down each time anything with even a lick of good happens. Especially now, with people claiming to know "how to fix the community" "Listen to me, these changes will obviously help, even though I've never even so much as bothered to look into the subject matter myself" etc etc, all these self proclaimed "revolutionists" or whatever they want to call themselves now.

Step back a moment, and smell these ashes why don't you.

Have you ever thought your "brilliant and completely infallible" ideas might actually cause more harm to the server? "MAKE THIS PERSON AN ADMIN NOW" "MAKE THIS SERVER DO THIS AND THAT AND etc etc", every choice causes a ripple, that ripple knocks into other things, other things that could be extremely important to the server's functioning. Step back and think, "maybe, my Ideas aren't the best for the server" what then? What then exactly? What if maybe, the staff, and, just stay with me on this completely ALIEN notion that is considered heresy to even utter now without causing a state of unending bitching by the community, that maybe the staff are actually trying to get things right? What happens then?

But no, it's not good enough, it never will be. "You're doing it all wrong", "you don't care for us" "we know what's best" "GTFO so we can be in charge instead" "Remove the team because we can't see them doing anything".

What a bunch of ungrateful and stuck up sods you are... I've had more modesty, more kindness from my niece aged five through eight than some of you and how you're acting now. Some of you don't get it do you? The amount of time, the amount of effort that some staff members put in for the likes of you so that you can fuel your petty fantasies on some stupid game. They put the time in for you, they put the effort in, for you. It's not a game for them anymore, it's a second job practically, and how do you repay this? Well, let's just say that monkeys throwing fecal matter wouldn't be too far from the truth of the matter.

The playerbase is a mess, and it's not the Administration's fault that you're acting like pricks, you're incharge of your own damn actions, so start taking control of them, action means consequence, you need to learn to take responsibility for that consequence, you're as much to blame as anyone else here and only you can fix it.

And don't think that means I'm letting you off the hook either, staff members, as of late, I agree with the playerbase, there HAS been a steep drop in activity, a steep drop in drive, I give credit to those of you who still do work, but I find myself ever more frustrated by the teams I am on as well as other teams as well for the sheer lack of commitment put into it, it takes me days, if not weeks to get some colleagues on my team to give feedback, again, there are the few who I would say otherwise but that's just it, they are the few. The few cannot sate the many. There does need to be some change on your part as well, there does need to be something more than what is currently happening because I have to agree with people like Ever, or what was it... that Ned Lud guy and what he rambles on about or Aislin or whoever. There are many who are not pulling their weight for the good of the community, they are there, and I know you're trying to fix that, but that fix is not coming fast enough either.

We can't keep this up, this divide between players and staff, we just can't continue on like this anymore. We are the elephant on stilts, and soon those stilts will snap. We need to learn to trust each other again, trust the staff and trust the players. But it is not an effort that can be made by one side alone, one cannot exist without the other, and because of this fact we must work together, and trust each other to do what is right. Trust that the actions that each is taking is correct and stop questioning every single step taken at any given moment to the point that we can no longer even move without needing to quench some stupid flame war.

For the love of God everyone, please, can we please, just get along?

Just to note, I will probably be pasting this into the thread Danny made a little while back about what is needed to change.

Thanks for reading.

Blundermore, as usual your wall of text is to high for most to climb. Some will try and utterly fail. Some will still be running head long as they plow there face upon your bricks.....a few maybe...hopefully will find out wisdom sits at the top smiling down in joy at there efforts.

Oh, another thing. Please destroy the economy we've created, things will be better when iron is super easy to come by. At least, 'tis my opinion, and the opinion of many.

-A more frequent bridge from staff to player base

-In-game rules being revamped

-Staff team purges

-More events from the ET

-More shiz from the MT (Wow did I go there? Yes. Just note, that this is happening ;) )

-Less restrictions when it comes to magic and villainous actions

-Sub-forums for very active/populated guilds/groups/organisations for an all around better feel

If I think of more, I will post more~

-Viper for Admin

-Remove OOC consent requirements.

-Add new GMs to counter the increased modreqs this would cause

-Release magic plugin and fix pvp plugin

-Complete the unregioning of Anthos, there's still a lot that is to be done.

-Add new GMs to help with that increased workload.

-Improve the magic system to a less elitist form

-A new warclaim system where nation capitals are not able to be conquested

-Add a couple GMs for that too

-Destroy the economy. Flood it with iron and diamonds.

-Make me admin

The most pressing matter is that Gronnk went missing and I didn't get to win my armour -.-

But seriously we need some way to record this but I agree that Nexus needs to be released.

Get new players to read the guides, make it some what compulsory. Though I understand how it feels to be looking at the guides and think 'tl;dr' , maybe a brief description will help them. Make them type a scenario in the application so we are certain they are capable of providing decent rp, I might not be the best at rp but I feel as if throwing them head first is unhelpful.

More admins, more GMs (preferably Australian), remove Nexus PvP, lessen OOC barriers (i.e a complete re-write of the raid/war calim rules) and try to reduce the amount of edgies.
