Lark sits at his desk in Kralta, poring over his distinctly, empty ledger as he sips from a tankard of Carrion White in the early hours. Right on time, his crow flies in dropping a copy of the Renatus Exclusive, smiling, he picks it up and looks over it, an idea forming in his head. He places the paper down and looks for a new sheet and his quill. Writing down a quick advertisement he picks up a pouch of mina off his desk and ties it to the paper. Lark holds his arm up to beckon his crow who was resting on the rafters of the workshop/home. The crow flies down, retrieving the money and advertisement and flies back to Renatus for delivery.

Whilst planning constructional projects for the barony of Cavan, William sits at his desk. A courier knocks on the door and then proceeds to enter, offering William a copy of the latest Renatus Exclusive, as well as a personal letter meant for him. William nods accordingly, scanning over both items and then dipping his quill into the swirling, dark liquid within the inkwell.

 

He begins to scribble a response addressed to Amber. It reads as follows:

 

"I would like to express my gratitude for featuring House Dunham in the recent newsletter. As promised, I've attached fifty minas with this letter to be given to you."

William seals the letter and hands it to the courier, who departs thereafter.

Navus'Lorundil Vincere arches his eyebrow as he reads the bad written Renatus exclusive, which was imported by his human contact.

With a feeling of suprise and disseapointment he turns to his large window, giving quite the view over the cihi.

"Why don't the elves have this?" he mutters, becoming frustrated by the fact that the lessers were ahead of them.

 

While grabbing his last piece of parchment with his nimble fingers, he watches the Renatus Exclusive laying on the desk, waiting to be burned and overthrown by real journalism. Navus refused to accept the fact, that the humans took their turn to journalism first.
