A Calling Of Druids

Isabella shamelessly sits down on Ouity's lap, jabbing him with her elbow every time he makes a rude comment.

Not that doing so will stop him, of course.

She listens idly as people bicker, giving Gavin one of her usual motherly looks of disapproval until finally speaking.

"Well unless someone feels the need to protest, we might as well move on."

Ouity throws Gavin a dirty look, but seems to calm considerably at Isabella's presence. Or elbowing.

"I need not lift a finger to watch your tragedy unfold, ye run yerself into the tree without the aid of anybody, lest of all me." He says with a wry grin. "I suppose the next order of business is the stone of Cerridwen- as I have said before, it is merely a matter of time before its location is discerned and w... I get it back." He amends the statement quickly, prodding Isabella's side lightly in reminder of that particular issue. Ouity reclines in his chair lazily, and he yawns, resting his cheek against Isabella's with a small huff; apparently attempting to drift off to sleep.

Beth glances at every single Druid to see what they're doing. She coughs quietly for a moment before rummaging through her satchel and taking out a small piece of paper. She rolls it up into a small, creased ball and throws it at Faolin.

She straightens up before looking back into the middle of the room.

"Alrighty, I'm not trying to be rude or anything but people are kind of dosing off here.."

Beth sets her gaze on Faolin and Ouity for a moment.

"We might want to move onto the next order of business and fast before anyone else drifts off into a daydream or before an argument rises."

Beth bites her lip for a moment before sitting lazily in her seat once again.

((Wrote this on my iPhone, sorry if there's any mistakes))

Verden, ignoring the nonsense that happens at every moot, chimes in about the Aspect Stone.

"We've been looking for that stone for over sixty years now. We've checked every ruin this side of the continent and still it eludes us." He dips his head from side to side, "My guess is that someone has already found it. Someone not of our Order."

Callax nods in response to Verden, "Aye, the Aspects stones have been lost from us for longer than my time as a Dedicant, I do believe. We finally got hold on the Cerridwen stone, but it has been taken from us. Now we look for both stones yet again."

Elorna sits up a little and finally speaks. "Iler mentioned a theory that Cerridwen's Stone is held by the Mali'aheral. Aside from that small clue, I have no idea where it might be held." She glances over to Ouity. "Perhaps you might share what you've discovered so far?"

Ouity glances around, seeming uneasy with the speculation. An astute observer might notice him give Izzy a slightly worried look. He heaves a sigh. "Content yourselves, brothers and sisters, in the knowledge that it will be reclaimed soon. All ye need to do is focus on the other two stones. Cerridwen's is as good as found." He glances around, eager to take the subject away from the diamond block. "And what of the other two, eh? I expected that after over a decade of absence, ye would have found those." He says, an accusing note in his voice.

Elorna crosses her arms lightly and a faint frown creeps onto her face. "That's not helpful at all, now is it? Why would you need to keep this knowledge from the rest of us?"

Isabella closes her eyes as the conversation arises, tightening her grip on her own hands. She seems to tune the world out, controlling her breathing, and her face would be totally unreadable.

Ouity's face flashes with alarm at Isabella's reaction, he casts Elorna the briefest of pleading looks, before setting his face in stern lines.

"Is my word not good enough, sister? I have reasons for my secrecy- the stone will be returned, and that is the end of it." His powerful voice tears from his throat at a near shout. He glances around the room, silently daring any of the present to object. After a moment, he returns his attention to Isabella, stroking her hair gently as he tries to tempt the blank look from her face. He sighs, seeming troubled by this turn of events. He looks sharply around the room again, teeth flashing in the hint of a primal snarl.
