*A single horn sounds from the the top of the fortress, Storms Crossing, followed by another and another until the air is filled with the sound of the horns that issue forth a message of war. The gates crank slowly open and riders bolt forwards on Legion Battle steeds. All carry the gray and orange banner of the Grand Kingdom and a message from the Grand King. They ride to the Nations Crossing before splitting up in dozens of different directions. The letters are delivered to Malinor, Gronkkston, Vaerhaven, Brom’Krah, and many others.*

 

“To the reader of this message, the following is both a declaration and call of allies. For the crimes of theft, vandalism, murder (of TWO lords), and the imprisonment of His Majesty Grand King Dizzy Irongrinder, the following proclamation is hereby put into effect"

 

THE GRAND KINGDOM OF URGUAN IS HENCEFORTH IN A STATE OF OPEN WAR WITH THAT OF THE KINGDOM OF RENATUS AND ANY THAT WISH TO INTERFERE.

 

IF THOSE OF THE KINGDOM OF RENATUS WISH TO BE SPARED THE FOLLOWING TERMS WILL BE MET:

• The immediate relinquishment of all dwarven prisoners

• The immediate relinquishment of all heretics defended by Renatus

• And a New Blood Pact

 

IF THESE TERMS ARE NOT MET THE GRAND KINGDOM AND ITS ALLIES WILL MARCH ON NEW ABRESI AND BURN IT AND ITS CONTENTS TO THE GROUND ALONG WITH ANY WHO INTERFERE.
