Change To Horse Permissions + Other

Hi LoTC! Minor update involving a new horse rule, a new recipe, and two new mine entrances. 

 

Horses

 

We're changing the way horse OOC permission works. 

 

• If a horse is left wandering about in the wilds or is otherwise left in poor conditions, it may be stolen without OOC permission. Horses are not meant to be OOC forms of travel. Take care of them!

Follow the below examples:

 

 

 

 

This horse can be stolen. It was left in the middle of a forest inside a small pen. Bad!

 

 

This horse is safe. It was left tied up outside a tavern.

 

 

This horse can be stolen. It was left wandering around the world.

 

 

This horse can be stolen. It was tied up to a post in the middle of a forest.

 

 

This horse is safe. It was left tied up outside a tavern.

 

 

This horse is safe. It was left in a stable.

 

 

Everything else remains the same:

 

• You need OOC permission to kill their horse.
• You need OOC permission to steal their horse if they're left in a safe location.

 

You will need to modreq if you wish you steal a horse that has been left in a poor location. Up to the GM's discretion. 

 

Mine Entrances

 

Two new entrances have been added, one in Storm's Crossing, and the other near Abresi. Note: Same mines, just new entrances. They lead to different portions of the mines.

Well, if others can't ride them, they aren't really going to be able to be stolen...

this change is so that you CAN steal them, so that you CAN ride them.

 

You'll need a GM to assist you, but before, it was basically "if they didn't give you permission, you can't steal, even if GM approves" Now it's "GM approval, can steal".

Now we just need to increase the amount of protected horses so breeders can actually have horses out on display!
