  1. "Away with you vile beggars!" Exclaimed a proud Reinmaren that goes by the name Anselm Barclay, his visage soon formed a smile upon reading the missive.
  2. Anselm Barclay proudly paints his face blue, readying himself to crush the Gelimarssons in the field of battle.
  3. "Gott mit uns!" Exclaimed Anselm Barclay, as he made sure to be prepared for this grand assembly.
  4. "The darkspawn shall be driven out, for these lands are now under the protection of the Princes in Reinmar. Wer rastet, der rostet!" Exclaimed a young Barclay whilst looking at the missive, before returning to his training with Ser Siegmund.
  5. On a serious note, my first ever character that's the most memorable is Augustus Skynor when I first got myself into LoTC. Joined during the last 5 IRP years of the Empire of Man, just before the War of Two Emperors began. Shortly after, I had joined the Imperial Legion of Renatus and partook in the war against the Holy Orenian Empire. I must say it was mostly a time of gooning, and I didn't mind it at the time. I also did lots of paper's please larp, with gate duty being my favourite thing to do back then, I even had ZacClay come over the gates whilst he was live streaming. I'd say one of the other best characters in the past has been Theophilos Komnenos-Arianites, born a bastard he dedicated his life to the church by becoming a holy knight of the Order of All-Saints and soon after the Supreme Order of Ex. Owyn. I had lots of interesting RP with him, including the banishment of a poltergeist in the Basilica in Karosgrad alongside Harald and others, you should probably remember that one as well, as you were a BSK soldier at the time. Though, there was also quite the amount of drama, since I was a member of the curia during Draeris' pontificate, which was rather controversial. Nonetheless, I went on to enjoy the RP trying to not pay much attention to the OOC shenanigans going on. Shortly after the Diet of Karosgrad happened, I retired and went on to gain a barony under Sutica which didn't really go according to plans, but I suppose it was worth giving a shot. As of now, I really enjoy playing Anselm Barclay, and I have some great plans to achieve several milestones with him.
  6. The title says it all, throw them questions.
  7. Anselm listened intently to Alfred's advice. The young boy still recovering from a fresh wound he had received in a recent fight against a group of brigands. "I ought to be at all times." He noted to himself, as he strived to become more accustomed to the term.

  9. "Wer Rastet, der Rostet!" Exclaimed a Georg Leopold Barclay, brother to the Duke Emeritus Manfred of Reinmar, banging a fist on his chest. Meanwhile, Anselm Barclay was still coping with the recent death of his father Leutwin, though his visage grew a soft smile upon hearing this good news.
  10. Anselm, Leutwin's youngest son wandered about Minitz, unaware yet of his father's demise. After some time, he went to look for him all over the streets, though quickly grew a worried expression. His eyes became teary once finding out the truth of his father's fate from the various gossips, the youngling not able to contain the sudden rush of emotions. "Papa..?" Is all he could mutter.
  11. "It's been a long and tiring reign, dear brother. You deserve the retirement." Manfred's younger brother, Georg Leopold Barclay exclaimed with a soft smile.
  12. "Long live our noble Duke!" Exclaimed Georg Leopold Barclay seeing his older brother's ascension.
  13. Likewise, probably. Just have to get some things sorted before I come up with ideas on what to do.
  14. So, does this mean you're considering coming back once again?
  15. Venerable Theophilos winces from the Seven Skies, at the response of the elf Orenian, at the mention of 'ISA being GOD's chosen army' as he recalls the traumatizing events that unfolded during the Diet of Karosgrad and the Halcourt Schism as a whole.

  18. "At last, old friend." said Theophilos welcoming Alfred on the seven skies "I hope you brought some of those cigars of yours."
  19. "Atrus brown gypsy, Turkin white blond hair, maşallah." Said an middle-aged man of Turkin descent, going by the name Orhan Kimyacioglu, before returning to making some kebab.

  21. A missive would be publically posted, addressing mainly the 'Red' Hyspians that live in the north. It is truly a grim day, a day that I wish I would've never live through. It's a day where we all mourn our dearest Francisco Cardinalis Sutica, who fell to the vile traitors in the north, Antonio de Rivera and his accomplishes. A man of virtue, a man of his word, the true Holy leader of the Hyspian people, who guided them all and brought them to a new home, where all can coexist peacefully. That fateful day, he was captured by a contingent of bandits within Orenian lands, something that's truly disturbing indeed. Though, Francisco wasn't just a Cardinal, for he also was the Treasurer of Cartagena and essentially, a subject of mine. It duly is my duty to look after those who reside within the Barony, and to provide for them in times of need. The acts of selfishness of the 'Red' is unacceptable, and thus I shall act accordingly. Therefore, I announce that every Red Hyspian is ultimately barred from entering Cartagena and its surrounding lands. If any show up, they will be requested to immediately leave, and will be arrested only if they refuse to do. Let it be known to everyone that we do not associate ourselves with those who wish to cause harm to our citizens, officials and people as a whole. It is certainly evident that their intentions aren't peaceful, but those of a warmonger who only wishes to further cause disarray within the Hyspian people. While their vile leader, Antonio de Rivera was apprehended by the Nordlandic authorities and later hanged, many will say that Justice has already been served. But to me, it hasn't fulfilled completely. I fully condemn House de Rivera, they and their subordinates shall never set foot in our grounds again. Cutthroats and murderers are not welcome here. Signed, Theophilos Komnenos-Arianites Trade Baron of Cartagena, Pontifical Legate of the Church of the Canon
  22. Another response seems to have been written and published, though probably quite unexpected. To the vile Traitor, "King" Antonio de Rivera. I feel compelled to write this response to you, after what I've witnessed happening against your own people and specifically, Carlos. If I remember correctly, you promised to stay true to your Canonist values, true to what your people believed. I was there personally, as a Knight of the Church. I witnessed you promising to Episcopus Otho, may God bless his soul, that you wouldn't break this promise. Yet, here we are, the Hyspians divided because of your foolish actions. You call Carlos a traitor, claiming him to supposedly be 'undead'. The only traitor here, is you. A greater offense to what you could've do to your own people. You claim yourself to be the Protector of the Hyspian people, yet all I see are crimes that you've commited in front of all of your people. Carlos is part of my government, as well as Osanora's, you have no right to put your hand against my own subjects, the very same Hyspians that choose me as their new leader, and so I shall do whatever I can to ensure their safety. Allow me to compile a list as well, of more heinous crimes you've commited against your people, which have been proven: - Converting to the Red Faith, abandoning the one True Faith. Also forcing your subjects to convert en masse, even if it's against their will. - Attacks on the Mother Church, be it verbal or physical. - Threatening to harm either physically or verbally one or more of your own people. - Any and all forms of Treason are unacceptable regardless of the rank committing the act and regardless of whom this treason may target. - Not reinstating the practice of the Civilian court, silencing any of your own people's opinions. - Committing Treason against your own people, exiling the House of Altamirano. Therefore, after thorough analysis and thought of your offenses, I have decided to declare that if any Red Hyspian sets foot in Cartagena, they shall be immediately arrested for the reasons stated above. I thought that perhaps there'd be a change of mind in you, that you'd tread the right path again and regret for your actions. But alas, that doesn't seem to be the case. Let it be known to all, that Cartagena will not accept any threats, be it internal or external, against its people and high ranking officials. Signed, Theophilos Komnenos-Arianites Trade Baron of Cartagena, Pontifical Legate of the Church of the Canon Reviewed by, Francisco Altamirano Cardinalis Sutica Treasurer of Cartagena, True Protector of Hyspians
  23. Theophilos heavily sighed. He, Dionisius and Javier had a conversation just a few Saint's hours ago. The news caught him off-guard, as he shook his head in disbelief. "I feel sorry for these petty cultists, I hope they will find the true path in life eventually." he remarked, pausing briefly. "In your memory, there shall be a ceremonial tomb in Cartagena, in memory of Father Javier." he exclaimed, a firm nod of his head.
  24. Holy Sir Theophilos sighed, remaining isolated in his home. "Murder.. That's what this is, coldblood murder of God's flock within his own House!" he barked to no one in particular, though fell silent after as he clasped his hands in prayer. "Dios save their souls, for they have strayed from your embrace." he uttered, gazing down to the floor, several tears escaping his eyes.
