  1. Supreme Mysteries of the Alchemical Void ~The channeling of creation through symbolism and spoken word~ The Preface. Since the dawn of time and creation itself, there lay machinations beyond the seeing-eye which dictate and influence every happening in one way or another. Be they the Creator’s remnant wake in the water of space, still rippling on to this day, the indiscernible waves of energy which the stars produce, or even the power of thought and the metaphysical. These things remain unhampered, immortal to the point where they may not be distinguished from air by a mortal mind and a mortal soul. Thus came symbolism. Due to the cryptic nature of these things, and origins even more-so, they may only be harnessed by use of symbolism and spoken word - for using them directly would be attempting to speak fluently in a language which does not exist. It is for these mystical reasons that alchemists, philosophers, pious theologists and mages alike deploy such curious processes in their workings. Their workings are riddled with symbolism. And this symbolism is deployed in assay to derive meaning for purpose - which is essentially the unbridled foundation of alchemy and magic itself. This makes symbolism a powerful asset in all that exists. The common alchemist uses ‘symbols’ to create concoctions, this is no coincidence. Symbolism, in one way or another, is found in nearly every form of magic (and religion, etc.), such as the trinkets used by mystics to contact the dead, the magic circles created by voidal mages, the material alphabet, or the runes used by blood mages (this, of course, does not account for the entire list, it is a mere few examples). Such things make up what is known as The Metaphysical Array. The Metaphysical Array. What is a sign? What is a symbol? What are they made of? Even though it seems as if impossible to answer this question, we alchemists have unknowingly figured it out, and the answer is right before us. The answer is there with every use of alchemy. With every potion crafted. We refer to symbols using names. For example, “fear”, “peace”, etc. The names are intentions, and have clear relevance in the creation of alchemical concoctions. Who figured this out? How could it be known that primordial dust, found in the make-up of matter, would have characteristics that are innately human? Is it reasonable to describe a material as peaceful, fearsome, swift, weak, or as any of the other characteristics that symbols seem to entail? It is very unlikely. So, finding out what symbols are made of can be ascribed to finding out where they inherit their characteristics from. And as we know, the “characteristics” are actually intentions. Who had the first intention? There must have been intention in the creation of the material plane as we know it, if all matter is derived from it. As demonstrated in countless ways, there is clear power in thought and intention. The coming-to-be of alchemy for descendents is not documented, however I believe it must have happened in either one of two ways: The knowledge of alchemy was passed down to us by a deity. All of the signs and symbols remain pure to their original intention (the intention of the creator). Ulll eth fo etwro. Or, Descendents discovered alchemy for themselves. They described each sign and symbol with their own intentions, and the collective belief in the new versions of the signs and symbols allowed this to work. They could not have possibly known the original meanings of each symbol, and hence came up with new intentions; intentions that we still use to this day. The Alchemical Void. The alchemical void is the idea that, while alchemy is inherently of the material plane, it must also exist outside of the material plane, and of course, in the void. The gift of nothing could not be any more paradoxical. It is the very nature of the void to be incomprehensible to those that exist within the material plane. The known laws of alchemy allow one not to understand the void, but to know what it is not. Many claim that the void is not anything. Some say that the void is everything. I am not here to say what the void is and isn’t, but to encourage the thought that everything had to come from something. From an intention. The void has intention. God is alchemy. 14. A sorry creature, reduced to a pitiful state, now less beast than man but still in his conscience he knew that there was no forgiveness for his crimes. Was this what it was to truly live? To finally feel alive? To teeter on the edge of life and death, knowing that one misstep could lead to your demise? Oh, what a thrill it all was! The minstrel had sung his last song. The piper had played his last piece.
  15. The LOTC (Lord of the Craft) Minecraft server is a popular role-playing server that has been active since 2011. The server is set in a fantasy world filled with unique races, factions, and magic, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in a dynamic and ever-evolving story.

One of the defining features of LOTC is its emphasis on player-driven storytelling. The world is shaped by the actions and decisions of its players, creating a living and breathing world that is constantly changing. Players can join factions, form alliances, and engage in political intrigue, all while battling fearsome creatures and uncovering ancient secrets.

LOTCC has a rich history that spans over a decade, with countless memorable moments and iconic events. Here are three significant details about the server's history:

    1. LOTC was originally founded in 2011 as a survival server with role-playing elements. Over time, the server evolved into a fully-fledged role-playing experience, with custom plugins, lore, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

    2. In 2013, LOTC underwent a major update, known as "Aegis." This update introduced a new map, revamped lore, and a slew of new features, including custom magic systems, dungeons, and quests. Aegis remains a pivotal moment in the server's history, and many players still look back on it fondly.

    3. In 2019, LOTC underwent another major update, known as "Vortex." This update introduced a completely new map, along with new races, factions, and a revamped magic system. Vortex marked a new era for the server, and its impact can still be felt today.

  16. In the depths of the ancient forests, there lived a tribe of mushroom people. They were strange and otherworldly, with caps like umbrellas and stalks as thick as tree trunks. Their eyes glowed with an eerie light, and their spores could cause madness in those who breathed them.

These mushroom people were not kind. They lived in a brutal society, where strength and power were the only things that mattered. They worshiped a dark deity, whose name was whispered only in the darkest of nights. They sacrificed their own kind to this deity, believing that it would grant them strength and longevity.

Their weapons were made of sharpened fungus and their armor was woven from spider silk and mycelium. They were formidable in battle, their agility and strength fueled by the dark magic they wielded. They would ambush travelers who ventured too deep into the forest, taking them as sacrifices to their deity.

The mushroom people were feared by all who knew of them. Their very existence was a reminder that there were things in the world far beyond human understanding. They were creatures of darkness and death, with no mercy for those who stood in their way.

But even in the darkness, there were those who sought to overthrow the mushroom people's reign of terror. Warriors from nearby villages banded together, seeking to rid the forest of the mushroom people once and for all. They fought with all their might, but the mushroom people's magic was too strong, and their bodies too resilient.

In the end, the warriors were forced to retreat. They knew that the mushroom people would continue to be a threat, and that they would never truly be safe as long as the tribe existed. But as they made their way back to their villages, they knew that they had not given up the fight. They would continue to search for a way to defeat the mushroom people, no matter how long it took.

And so, the mushroom people remained, ruling over their dark corner of the forest. Their worship of their dark deity continued, their sacrifices fueling the magic that kept them strong. And those who knew of them could only hope that they would never have to face the mushroom people's wrath.
