[!] Beneath the Bushes and Trees on yonder, an 'awe stirs from his slumber, leaving his tent between the woods early in the hours of the morning. It so happened that a few of his creations would be wandering around outside his little tent, cheerfully and idly playing without a care, as a few among the rabble of Living Dolls, Newts and Half-Finished Sorvians hurried to fix his breakfast and to take down the tent. This 'ame was Adamai, a longtime friend of the late Jolynn, and as he yawned, sitting in the small clearing as his creations took down his little settling in the land- ready to move on, he noticed something odd. A small newt, a sorvian- one that he immediately noticed was not of his own making, rushing over through the small group with a letter- he'd have taken the letter, and politely thanked the sorvian for the service as it made off. He'd have waited a little though before opting to open it, not before packing up his large backpack, and walking off, his creations trailing behind him- as they walked through the land, he decided then to open it, stopping dead in his tracks at the news of his dear deceased friend, his hands shaking and his face turning a pale shade... He began suddenly, to weep- not overly bursting with emotion, nor coldly regarding it, simply a flow of tears streaming from his eyes. He'd recall every moment he'd spent with Joliets, every moment of fun they'd have, every time he'd supported her- and it in turn, made him even worse. And with that, he began to make off, prompted by the loss of his only, and dearest friend, driving him deeper into the wilderness, further and further...not sure if he's ever see anyone again. Thus, with the end of Jolynn- comes the loss of Adamai. Adamai the Lost, to Jolynn the deceased.

Now that you're Story Administrator- please represent Australia on the server a bit more to a wider group of people with your newfound power, I also expect Vegemite Crafting [Feat] and TimTamancy lore posts to be finished soon enough, not to mention Emus as a Playable Creature, when might this get done? This is unnecessarily kind of you, and overall extremely generous, I could use a new skin myself- but be warned if it so happens that you do see fit to make mine, I will not let it go without pay, or at least an interesting rp item, this is your only warning. As for the skin itself, golly if I had to request one- I'm severely in need of a proper adventurer/explorers outfit, for my favourite Carrington boy- no real references or guidelines, just something nice for him to wear on an expedition, maybe try to introduce a little green into the colour scheme, like his family colours? Anyway, thanks in advance!

I didn't know this was up, time for a late response I guess: - What are you most excited for, regarding the future of your characters and the future of LoTC, from your perspective? - In hindsight, looking back now on everything you've ever done and said on this server, are there any other character-changing decisions you probably could've made? Development-wise? - (Are we friends? 😰)

I'm sorry if I've been distant Casual, while I understand how people become slightly annoyed or hurt at your actions or how you act on the server, I've never been affected by that and have always seen you for what you really are, and that is a genuinely kind, and caring person who only wants to help, and con distantly goes above and beyond at whatever endeavour you choose to pursue, and for that, I've always admired you and continue to admire you. While this phrase may be extremely overdone, people need to remember its just a server and you don't make friends because of the server, but rather through the server- I'm friends with you because I like who you are and genuinely like your character and I'll never forget all this time we've spent as friends. From the days we spent in Helena planning my Mayoral Candidacy, to watching you become and Alderwoman yourself in Providence. I can say nothing else except hang in there- and I hope you'll be your usual amazing self next time we talk, sorry for not responding sooner to some of your messages in the past, I'll resolve to be on top of that from now on!

Foreword: [!] A page, taken straight from the frail binder of a worn, and musty writing book- the pages of Beryl Edmund Carrington’s personal writing journal- his first work of professional writing in the footsteps and imprint that his father, the esteemed playwright Peridot Carrington had left, after fleeing the Ruby city of Helena, leaving his son those many years ago, now his son and only heir’s first work- would be a piece, upon the newly built Imperial Palace, the majestic home of the ruling class in Orenian society. The name of such place- Augustine, appearing several times in the text. ⥀ - Augustine - ⥁ By Beryl Edmund Carrington. It would now, come to me- more than ever, than the idea to write a piece upon my introduced home, and my curious surroundings, I’ve remained patient on this matter a while now, and I’ll admit the notion crossed my mind now and again, when I’ve strolled the halls of the grandiose palace- looking up to the expansive atrium circled above me, decorated with fine detail and impeccable craftsmanship. How long it took to build I’ve not a single idea, perhaps years upon end, by the colonial settlers- again, I’ll not make assumptions upon such matters, however I’d make a point of guessing that perhaps out of all the structures in providence- Augustine, was the one that took the longest to construct, save for perhaps the Basilica- however, I do not write to give just my thoughts, but my views and feelings, and I intend to do, precisely that. From the grand exterior, one could see that in size and scale- was easily a complete juxtaposition to the memorial of Novellen Palace- the grand palace of Arcas, that had towered over entire generations past for many a year, now shrunken next to the majestic bigotry that was given from Augustine- from the moment of the imperial family, the nobles and palace staff’s entrance to the astounding main hall of their newly to be ancestral home, the scale and expanded reach of the empire, had never felt more apparent than it had upon the first few steps into such a place. Every room, as romanticized on the voyage- was as promised, each one filled with such beauty and elegance, fine and soft carpets strewn about the sitting rooms, always accompanied by a warm hearth- crackling with embers, always there to provide heat and comfort for those returning. Portraits. Ah, where to begin with portraits, there must’ve been perhaps one in every room, most likely more- ancient events, and events distantly remembered, though faint- people I’d known for my life, and people I vaguely remembered before their passing into the Seven Skies, and with this I was content for hours on end, to simply walk through the halls, staring at the portraits, and the occasional mural donning the walls- meagrely wondering about such a time, such a place and such a person - represented through Portraits. In the winter months, around Tuvmas- was perhaps the most fortunate time to bear witness to the great place- Augustine. For it radiated a warm glow amongst the snow and ice surrounding it- and one may feel equated to receive a hug from their mother as they would to sit inside and watch snow fall within the warmth of Augustine, again equated to that of a familiar and loving warmth, as I sit inside now- watching snow fall simply onto the grounds outside. I feel content, content to be within these walls, content to enjoy such magnificence and splendor, content to share a space with such people of high stature and position, and content to be in Augustine. - Beryl Edmund Carrington. The Month of November-December: Whew! What a month, am I right? Temp Map, 8.0 transition, Returning and New players flooding in….it’s been a lot to say the least, and now in the tradition with all these incredible events, I’d like to add the return of the Monthly Community Newsletter to the list! Yes, that’s right folks! - The Monthly Newsletter has returned! Here to provide you with the latest updates and know-how to get your Lord of the Craft knowledge up to code! And with me, BenjiBot_ as your guide, I’ll take you through what’s been happening on our wonderful server this past month, and what we can look forward to in the future, so sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Ah, yes- the news, in a diverse and fast-growing community like ours, I consider it important, to consistently remain in the loop about major changes and updates here on the server! So, without further ado- let’s get into our most Note-Worthy and Important pieces of news from this month! CRP: The Movie? Another video for the Lord of The Craft youtube channel! Our latest installment features a comprehensive guide on how to use Combat Roleplay properly on the server! Directed, Written and Edited by our incredible Community and Content Creation team, this video would be a great watch for a refresher, or even a video to recommend to your newer friends to the server, definitely far too good to miss! Tech Team: Ah yes, our favourite team in charge of all things development and tech-related here on our server, so how have they been? Well, from the context Llir gave me, it seems they’ve been doing quite well! They’ve needed all hands on deck with preparing Vortex and other important projects, such as working with the World Team on Almaris Economy! - they’ve also had their hands full with surge-pvp testing, getting as much feedback as they can in recent days, to prepare for release! Since map launch, they have been working day and night to fix issues with the server, and listen to your feedback in order to improve resource availability and Vortex. They encourage you all to join the Tech Discord, which a link can be found in #discord-hub in the Lord of the Craft discord! Vortex is still rolling out and many features will come soon, please be patient! Applications: Open! - Yes, the Tech Team applications are open! Specifically looking for anyone with programming knowledge at any stage, or coding expertise, is heavily encouraged to join! They’d love to have you, if possible! Moderation Team: The Moderation Team- well, I suppose you’re wondering what they’ve been up to- well fear not! That’s why I’m here! - The Moderation Team has been just peachy, gaining a significant amount of new members to prepare for Almaris, and constantly working on the server rules- though the re-write is finished, they’ll constantly be trying to keep in updated and relevant from now on! And- what’s this? They appear to be working on a new re-write for the War System, hopefully seeking to improve this further as well! They always seem to overcome the challenge of dealing with conflict on the server, and put themselves on the line for it, so a good job to them! Applications: Open! - Well, it seems they are taking in as well! - however, when they receive applications, they tend to review them in large groups, which may accrue a bit of waiting time- but they always strive to be sure of their choices for new members! Community Team: Mhm, and the Community Team is up next! Call me biased, but this one is my favourite (*coughs*), erm..so how’ve they been of late? Well, they’ve been just peachy- a great and fortuitous increase in activity has arisen above members of the team, especially with certain members picking up individual projects, this newsletter being one, by yours truly, and others too- such as Fie, who’d be handling the Creative Cafe! - Armajesty with battle of the arts, under their belt! Gosh!- it’s all going spectacularly, always working on new events for the next map, as well as exciting new opportunities for community involvement, isn’t that just special- so a word to the wise, keep an eye open! Applications: Closed. - Oh dear, look- I’m terribly sorry about this, but it seems we’re not accepting new members, as of yet...unfortunately the team is a bit over-capacity right now, with all this work being split among us, but hopefully there’s an update soon, and as long as you help the community of LoTC in some way or another- you’re an honorary member in my eyes! Story Team: Well- we all know they’ve had quite a month, hm? What with the Damnable Eventline- I mean...Damnable Horde Eventline, being completed- and what an eventline it was, absolutely brilliant, and expansive- and yet they somehow managed to execute it incredibly well, and a round of applause is in order for that! They’re now focusing entirely on the new map, preparing to give the new world- personality and character with cool locations, and events- additionally, as routine- they’re always in the business of running the loremags, and all the player-made submissions flooding in- and reviewing each one in detail, how brilliant indeed! They always manage to pull events off, but are always searching for more Manpower to help run those impressively scaled events- let’s wish them luck for that! Applications: Open! - Well, what do you know! Isn’t that special! Mainly looking for people more focused on helping with events, like mentioned above- the more they have, the bigger and more impressive they are! World Team: Well, I suppose it's only right we say a good farewell to Grool, our favourite World Admin, is stepping down from his position as admin, to manager- due to time constraints and such, but he was a great administrator, and deserves a good farewell, and wish him luck in his manager position! (And worry not, and new admin will be selected soon! Stay tuned!) As for World Team- Doing the best they’ve ever done! - in their own words, they’ve been working tirelessly on the map, we’re about to properly inhabit- and what an incredible- awe-astounding work of art it is, with some of the most impressive builds I’ve ever seen on a server, made only in six months, no less! - and to all who can hear me, yes! It’s all made custom- completely from scratch! How incredible is that? - They’ve apparently had a great sense of teamwork recently, and that makes me overjoyed to hear such- let’s hope their exemplary work will continue! For now though, with the release of Almaris, their focus will be on the Economy and resource nodes, Building new and immersive locations, to keep you in this incredible world, and preventing from landscars, hopefully…(*shudders from Arcas flashbacks*) but let’s give them a standing ovation for that!
