  4. The Knight’s Quest of Konstanz Barclay KRUSAE ZWY KONGZEM Issued by the KNIGHT’S TABLE On this 2nd day of Grona & Droba, 424ES LET IT BE KNOWN BEFORE ALL THE KONGZEM, In the years past, His Lordship, Konstanz Barclay @Fionn__TWG, Baron of Sigradz, has served as a squire of the Knight’s Table under Dame Mariya “The Grey” Vyronov, having completed the following Trials of the Bogatyr to reach the point he stands at today: The Trial of Mylah: Beginning with the 2nd Trial of the Bogaty - the Trial of Will - Squire Konstanz descended into one of the hollow mountains of the Rimeveld during the height of summer, enduring melting cliff sides and falls along their steep, rough edges before emerging victorious through an opposite entrance. The Trial of Ratibor: The 4th Trial of the Bogatyr, the Trial of Faith, was Squire Konstanz’ second trial. The Squire spent many months preaching to the pagans of Almaris before finally converting the Lady Olivia Freysson Ruric to Canonism. The Trial of Vlasta: As proof of his sharp mind, the Squire was led blindfolded into the deepest sections of the Karosgrad sewers to undergo the 3rd Trial of the Bogatyr, the Trial of Wit. The squire went about escaping the rat-infested infrastructure using only a torch for vision and his mind to determine any clues towards the fresh winds of the outside, emerging with a shitty grin and stench stuck to him. The Trial of Szitibor: The final of the chosen trials, the Baron set out to the Attenlund for the 6th trial of the Bogatyr, the Trial of Cunning. Using only the nearby branches and sticks of the wilderness, Squire Konstanz was unmatched by the towering Shoebill Stork which dominated the local pack. The Trial of Slavomir: Having completed all other tasks, Squire Konstanz moved on to the 1st Trial of the Bogatyr, the Trial of Strength. In a one on one, the now experienced Squire bested the Paramount in all bouts the two had, leaving no doubt in the Knight’s mind of his prowess. With these trials completed, Squire Konstanz was gifted with a visit from the Oracle of Maenvestiyaeo. It was during this visit that the Oracle told of Konstanz’ fate, to ascend the mountain range of the Orenian heartlands and enter the nest of a crowdrake whose presence risks the local farmsteads and villages. It is only when this beast's head is brought within the walls of Karosgrad that the Squire may come before His Majesty to be dubbed a Knight of the table. May Godani keep you, Konstanz Barclay. IV JOVEO MAAN The Knight’s Table of King Sigismund Ser Reinhardt the Unbroken, 1st Knight of the Table Ser Walton the Wall, 2nd Knight of the Table Ser August the Merciful, 3rd Knight of the Table Dame Tavisha the Independent, 4th Knight of the Table Dame Mariya the Grey, 7th Knight of the Table Dame Emelya the Temperate, 9th Knight of the Table Ser Emil the Guardian, 10th Knight of the Table

  10. A MEYSTER’S ASCENSION Issued by the KNIGHT PARAMOUNT On this 6th day of Tov and Yermey of 423 E.S VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK It has been many years since one of our nation’s esteemed Knights of the Kongzem has rightfully sat on the 2nd seat of the Knight’s Table and held the title of Meyster Knight. As a Marshal needs their Captain, a Paramount needs their Meyster, and for too long have I served without a right-hand man. And a Knight without a hand is as useful as a scholar without a mind. No longer shall I lead the Order of the Crow as a one-handed man. As I wield my blade in my left hand, I now decree that the righteous Ser Walton shall guard my right side. A past squire under my own guidance, Ser Walton has proven himself a Knight of the highest merit, displaying honor surpassed by few lords, and whose loyalty is challenged only by that of a hound. With this promotion, I grant the stalwart Meyster the right to call meetings of the Knight’s Table and their squires, should he deem such as necessary. Ser Walton stands as a beacon of the outstanding merit the common class is capable of achieving, and he shall continue to do so as Meyster Knight of the Order of the Crow. May “The Wall” never crumble, for he is built of the same bricks that defend our great Kongzem. GOTT MIT UNS His Excellency, Ser Reinhardt “The Unbroken” Barclay, Knight Paramount of Hanseti-Ruska

  15. Word had reached the aging Knight Paramount back in the duchy of Reinmar, Ser Reinhardt Barclay let out an sigh as he had just been speaking with the commander earlier that Saint’s day. He signed himself and knelt in prayer at the damaged Chapel of St. Tylos in Reinmar. He begged for the Lord to guide the officer to the Seven Skies. Once he finished the prayers, the knight paramount set out to collect some effects before he headed south again, his blades sharpened and armored hardened. As the knight mounted his steed and rode away from his homeland for what could be his last time, he uttered an old Waldenian phrase “Gott sei mit mir…” (God be with me) *as the heavy hooves of his Reinmaren warhorse sounded against the compacted earth of the backroads
  16. Ser Reinhardt Barclay kneeled at the Altar Karosgrad Cathedral praying to his Gott, praying for the lives of the brothers he lost in this terrible war “Ser Erwin, Ser Ailred, Sir Fionn, Sigmar, Maxim, Jurgen, rest easy boys ich hope we finally avenged du.” Ser Reinhardt walked out of the Cathedral and saw his fellow knight, noticing the distressed Ser Walton “Ser Walton, do you feel like we could have gotten more?”

  18. Ser Reinhardt Barclay smiles at the Haeseni Golden Age, he signed the Lorraine and prayed to Gott for His blessing of his homeland, for his könig @Xarklyand Koenas @livrose for his brothers and sisters in the Brotherhood and for his charges in the knightly orders of Haense. As the knight paramount concluded his prayer, he uttered an old Waldenian phrase as he walked away from the Cathedral “Gott ist mit uns ( God is with us)”.
  19. Ser Reinhardt Barclay wipes away a tear from his one good eye, another chapter in the story of his life had been closed. He was proud of what he did in the 25 years of being an officer, and not once did he regret a decision he made. 25. Ser Reinhardt stood upon the elevated dias next to his liege lord, Koenig Sigismund III in his usual stance of guarding the King during public events. From his elevated position he could see the entirety of the throne room, but this is not what drew his attention at this moment. The Knight Paramount’s gaze followed that of his king, focused on the small child before the throne. He studied the child, his grandson, wondering if this boy would be able to continue the legacy of mighty knights that have been a staple of his line for generations. With his visor open the majority of court was able to see his face, but the knight had disciplined himself and steeled his countenance not betraying a single hint of his emotion. When he watched Leon get handed the sword from the newly minted dame and then ordered to lift the blade, the Knight Paramount betrayed his discipline and allowed a faint smile to tug at the corners of his mouth when the child hoisted the weapon above himself. “Hmmm, perhaps the child does have what ist takes to wear the black…perhaps he will uphold the legacy of our line. With Gott’s grace ich will still be here to see him kneel and take the oath for himself…” he thought to himself, feeling proud of the boy.
