  19. Ser Reinhardt Barclay, Knight Paramount of the Knightly orders of Hanseti-Ruska, stood before the remains of his fallen friend. His eyes stained with tears, nose runny and arms heavy, he had known this man since their earliest day and had served him for nearly 60 years. He thought long and hard on these years of service to this man, this king that lay before him, and he would not change a single thing about those years. He was proud to have befriended such a kind, brave, and honorable man. “Ist was an honor to serve du, mein liege, all those years, and all those adventures….. Ich hope du are finally able to rest soundly now, Gott knows du earned ist.”
  20. Ser Reinhardt Barclay stood watch over one of the main entrances to the private section of the palace. As he stood watch he said a silent prayer to Gott that He would deliver his friend from pain, BUT the Knight Paramount’s thoughts drifted to final knights table his majesty had attended with his loyal men at arms. Ser Reinhardt thought over what the king had asked of his knights, and the answer he had given to Sigismund. Under his breath, the Knight Commander muttered “Ich hope du made dein choice, mein fruend… if du have, then tell give us ein sign… so we can know the answer..”

  23. Ser Reinhardt sat in his office, reading the letter that his nephew had wrote to him, tears streaming down his face as poured himself a tall glass of scotch gulping it down. He whispered within the quiet of his study “ ich failed to train you hard enough, lad. Ich feel responsible for this, ich should’ve had you fight a skywhale. Ich promise ich will avenge du, skybound prince, the creature that took du from us will taste the steel of mein blade.” He hummed a tune under his breath as he drank his sorrows away.
  24. Ser Reinhardt Barclay sat in his study, reading the invitations for his daughter’s wedding. As he read on, tears streamed down his cheeks, he was truly proud of each and everyone of his children and everything they have accomplished. He wondered if this was his wake up call, that maybe he was in his twilight years and he had to cherish the time he had on this earth before the day that Gott calls his name.
