Air

As a young boy Air was always weaker than his other siblings even as the middle child, so he became more of a reader than a fighter. He was one of 5 other children, Crystal, Minai, Deaus, Zylfinn, and himself were all the children of Norkan and Arjena, Norkan being a high elf and Arjena being his dark skinned human wife. Located in cabin out near Alras, Air's father and mother fell in love long ago when Norkan and his brother Vulcan visited a local pub in Alras. Though Norkan is a High Elf hailing from Lareh'thilln he somehow fell for the beauty of this human woman, he knew it was seen as a crime by his people so he fled from Lareh'thilln and started a life in a cabin just shy of Alras. Vulcan took note of his younger brothers sudden interest in the bartender and reminded him of the consequence of falling in love with a person that wasnt a High elf. Though 12 years apart the brothers cared for each other very much, and hung out more than any of their other 2 siblings. Air was the comedian of his family always making smart remarks when speaking to townsfolk and his family. His siblings enjoyed training with their father Norkan while he and the youngest Minai hung out with their friends or at the tavern that their uncle Solus owned. Air enjoyed helping out around the tavern so he spent most of his days their and his best friend Gnorkesh would visit him every so often, Gnorkesh was an orphan so he was like a sixth child in Air's family. On Air's eighth birthday he was hanging around the tavern with Gnorkesh when Norkans father Silhorrn finally found the home of his son, because Norkan fled from Lareh'thilln Silhorrn was seen as a failure of a father which made him and Norkans siblings seen as lesser for having a coward like Norkan among their kin. Silhorrn was furious with his son and in search of him for 17 years, and upon finding his son with his half bred children Silhorrn was enraged, so he drew his sword and slaughtered the young one by one. Then proceeded to set the cabin on fire Norkan and Arjena burned to a crisp in their sleep, as Air and Gnorkesh saw the house ablaze from a distance they rushed over to see that Silhorrn had taken his own life and his siblings lifeless bodies laying on the ground. Gnorkesh had to drag Air back to Alras only to find out that Solus' pub had been robbed not to long after they left and learned that Solus had been killed in the robbery, so they had to live as street kids being that they were both now orphans. After a few days of living on the streets Air and Gnorkesh were starved and sickly, they were ignored by town folk and weren't able to receive proper aid. Gnorkesh later died of sickness in his poor friends arms in an alley due to sickness. Right as Air was giving up on life and succumbing to sickness over his friends corpse a tall man with pointy ears wearing a cloak approached him, then dragging an unconscious Air to a cave just outside of Alras nursing him back to health no questions asked. That's how their relationship was for the next 8 years, the man was a mystery, Air didn't even know his name. He just taught him how to survive alone, recipes for food and even trained him in combat. Didn't ask for Air's backstory or name, he just referred to him as kid. This may be the reason Air grew colder than his bright cheery self from when he was younger. Once Air had finally turned sixteen the man left as mysteriously appeared and left no trace of himself anywhere. Air then went off alone to survive and learn more about the world, maybe even the identity of that man. Air later found himself heading toward The Realm of Elvenesse to learn and perhaps find the mysterious man.
