Truth be told I do not care much for the expiration plug-in. For those who don’t like it, it will be a minor inconvenience at worst. I just applaud the staff for actually trying to develop plugins and make the server more mechanical. If a food expiration plugin on Minecraft tweakes you out so much it’s time to put the mouse down, go outside, hug a loved one, touch grass, read a nice book, have a negroni, have two.

Based, good work Cheezeboi. Ignore the haters, FULL STEAM AHEAD

I don't like the new map name. It ends with 'ass' for one and isn't catchy enough to keep repeating. Map names like Aevos, Axios, Arcas etc etc run off the tongue quite easy, but with 'Azuras' it is simply too much. It's also very close to 'Azura' from Elder scrolls. I could not imagine myself comfortably saying 'Azuras' for the entire 2+ years or so that we are on this map, and want something easier and simpler to say. I hereby petition for the name to be changed, or rather, just giving the opportunity to gauge the LOTC publics opinion on the name. I just don't like it

Get rid of PvP altogether. This is a RP server.

Best Eventline - None really stuck out to me Best Antagonist - Gashadokuro (Never actually met him but heard he was good) Most Impactful War - War of Crown and Crozier (Veletz war essentially resulted in a continuation of the status quo) Best Nation - Empire of man (Not my favourite nation but clearly the one that stole the show) Best Staff Member - White Wolf, but only because he was one of the few ST’s to do events for Urguan. Also Cheezeboi9 Aevos's Best Player - Tide1

The 1st of Malin’s Welcome, 242 SA ᚨ ᚱᛖᛊᛁᚷᚾᚨᛏᛁᛟᚾ A RESIGNATION ᚨ ᚱᛖᛊᛁᚷᚾᚨᛏᛁᛟᚾ ANNOUNCEMENT I have served as the Grand Marshal of Dungrimm’s Legion for nearly one Stone year. During that period, I have continued the good work of my predecessors and ensured that the military of Urguan remained strong and mighty in the face of its enemies. I have recruited and led the Legion into the War of the Crown and Crozier, and have utilised my position to greatly contribute to the finalisation of the Golemancy Act. Urguan is now in a stronger state than I have ever beheld it; our halls are filled with voices and beards, our lands are tended to by our vassals, and greater unification has been restored and advanced. Urguan is strong once more, and the Dwarven people have continued to fulfill their destiny as Yemekar’s chosen. I know now that my duty has been fulfilled, working along with the Grand King Ulfar Starbreaker. With that, I hereby declare my resignation from this post. I am deeply proud of the work that has been completed, and it would be most unfruitful for me to cling on to this position any longer. It is time for new talent to claim the post of Grand Marshal and continue to lead the Legion on as the defender of the Dwarven people and the realm of Urguan with all its vassals. I shall continue to hold this post until the next stone week. Until the successor to this post has been chosen. NARVAK OZ URGUAN Morroick Starbreaker Grand Marshal of Dungrimm’s Legion Vault Keeper of Dungrimm’s Legion Royal Guard of the Grand King of Urguan Member of Dungrimm’s Elite

I still enjoy the server a lot nowadays (sometimes even moreso than before) and I've been on it since 2015. I don't think the server has significantly declined (infact, its improved a lot in areas such as warclaims, build-standards and sometimes even roleplay standards.) I am pretty optimistic going forward as I think the high-quantity of nations was pulling the server back by decentralising activity, so I'm happy that next map will be a RETURN to what LOTC used to be like in regards to nation amounts. I would say the biggest thing I'm not happy with current LOTC is HONOUR crp default. I don't want to go too far into it as many have already made arguments, but I think effectively forcing defending players to engage in potentially hours long CRP fights (whilst having busy social lives/careers) is actually immoral. Bring back Defender Default. Another aspect of modern LOTC is that its very much devoid of plugins compared to before.

I’ll applaud you for being honest in this area and amending the rules. I always said that admins should have no leadership involvement within a nation, and I found your influence over Haelun’or deeply concerning. It was a running gag that you might use your admin position to benefit your realm. Once again, good on you for admitting to this and amending the rules. I hope from now on Admins step back fully from nation involvement

To be utterly honest, I think playing meme-skins for warclaims and leading up to it should be prohibited completely. You've got people with superhero skins in their capital for over an hour, talk about a complete collapse of immersion.

I disagree with your post, but I believe all the points that have been made against it, have been made, so im not going to focus on that. I wanna say that I'm sorry that you feel that life is depressing and boring. You're absolutely spot on that this server is used for escapism, and I hope that some day you do not deem life as 'depressing' and 'boring.'

Morroick Starbreaker would drag a cloth against his bloodied blade, the BANE OF OREN, gifted to him by Sigrun 'UndeadSlayer' Stonehammer. "Easy" he'd simply comment.

This is good, and a step in the right direction. The ultimate step would be moving fully towards a roll-based crp system with modifiers. I genuinely believe honor-crp is horrific as a system as there are too few standards of landing a shot or doing a damage, it is left up to the interpretation of someone who simply doesn't want to lose. It is my opinion that if LOTC wants to become CRP-focused it needs to entirely ditch (or heavily move away from) honor-crp and create a proper Dnd-based combat system. I believe it would be signifcantly more fun, would reduce toxicity and overall make the server better. It might be tricky to develop as there is a lot of lore and combat attacks, but I bellieve the effort would be greatly beneficial for the server.

The 2nd of the First Seed, 223 SA ᛏᛏᚺᛖ ᛖXᛈᚢᛚᛊᛁᛟᚾ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛒᛚᚨᛞᛖᛊ THE EXPULSION OF THE BLADES ᛏᛏᚺᛖ ᛖXᛈᚢᛚᛊᛁᛟᚾ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛒᛚᚨᛞᛖᛊ Overview An investigation began on the ‘Order of the Hidden Blades’ by Grand Marshal Morroick Starbreaker upon receiving several testimonies from individuals outside of Urguan who accused the Blades of being a covert Undead coven and housing Undead within the walls of their fort. The Legion received a warrant from the Crown to begin a thorough search of the Blades fort. During the search, Morroick Starbreaker and a group of Legionnaires found a portal within the basement that witnesses described as ‘reeking of death.’ Morroick Starbreaker requested that the leader of this guild, an elf named ‘Arandur’ immediately submit to a full inquiry on the matter, which he accepted. Arandur was tested for darkspawn taint and then made to show the enquiries the fort. The entrance to the portal was covered, and Arandur refused to even acknowledge the existence of such a portal. The Grand Marshal demanded an end to such deceit, and the portal was uncovered for all those who were present to witness. The Marshal took Arandur back to the capital to begin proper legal procedures, however the Elf began a heretical speech and confessed to aligning with darkspawn. The Elf drew a dagger and began summoning black arts, but was then slain by the Legion. A demon appeared to aid the necromancer, but was also swiftly slain by members of Dungrimm’s elite. Declaration of Expulsion Due to the sheer volume of evidence that has been uncovered, the Crown decrees the following: All members of the Order of the Hidden Blades are hereby EXPELLED from the Grand Kingdom of Urguan due to their darkspawn alignment. Any associated members of the Order of the Hidden Blades are declared enemies of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and will be hunted down by members of Dungrimm’s elite as well as Dungrimm’s Legion. The Fort of the Hidden Blades and any nearby land is hereby SEIZED by the Crown of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The Crown of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan will immediately begin a thorough investigation into the portal present under the Blades fort with the hopes of deactivating it. The Grand Kingdom of Urguan will not tolerate any Darkspawn or Darkspawn sympathisers within its territory. Let this be a warning to any and all Khorvadic minions across Aevos. You Shall Find No Refuge Here Ulfar Kazzarathsson of the Elder Clan Starbreaker, The Grand King of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, Thane of the Elder Clan Starbreaker, Kahl of Kaz’ad Nolvaraz, High Lord Golemancer Morroick Starbreaker Grand Marshal of Dungrimm’s Legion Vault Keeper of Dungrimm’s Legion Royal Guard of the Grand King of Urguan

Experiment: The Salvan and the Musin

Georgie Mareno shakes his head. "Only two? Can hardly make such a definite assertion based off of such a small sample size. Definitely not a viable study... did you even test to see if the results were repeatable?" -
Morroick Starbreaker would offer a nod as he read the missive. "So it shall beh"

If you go through with this, you’re about to make the best decision of your life. I’ll give you a brief introduction on dwarven culture and society. Basically, Dwarves live under the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Our Kingdom is a Clan-based elective-monarchy, where the clans come together and vote on the position of ‘Grand King,’ the leader of our realm. As I said, Dwarves are split into clans, some focused on warfare such as Irehearts, others based off of magic like Ironguts and others based off of smithing and masonry like Starbreakers. Don’t think that you are restricted when you make a dwarf, fore there are plenty of clans to accommodate your niche desires. Lastly, Dwarves follow the faith of the Brathmordakin. A pantheon of deities where Yemekar (the creator) is at the head. I would personally say that this faith is similar to a form of Judaism mixed with a multitude of pagan beliefs. Playing a dwarf ain’t too complicated, and don’t feel like you need to play a generic warrior-alcoholic. Do as you will, fore there will be plenty to guide you
