I Had some brief interactions with him. We rped in Almaris and he was one of the ironguts who introduced me to the clan. Very recently I purchased a flamethrower from him and we rped. I cannot say I truly knew him, but the interactions we had were overwhelmingly enjoyable. I offer my condolences to his family and friends. He was an inspiration to many dwarves and players on this server, and for that he will always have my respect. R.I.P

The following list is a declaration of what the legion has done to advance this goal, as well as what we intend to do in the future in regards to this essential matter What Has Been Achieved The Legion has purchased vast quantities of Slayer-Steel Blades from Yemekar’s workforce The Legion has begun Undead-Patrols across the continent, protecting the people of Aevos from malignant Khorvadic forces. The Legion has performed darkspawn tests within the capital Gatehouse. The Legion has performed darkspawn tests upon the Aevosi highways The Legion has slain 2 darkspawn beings in the Urguani capital in the recent stone weeks The Legion has sent scouting operations to identify Khorvadic lairs What We Thus Plan To Do The Legion shall continue to purchase a variety of slayer steel weaponry from the workforce The Legion shall engage in contact with respected Darkspawn-hunters to gain essential knowledge to aid our efforts The Legion shall bolster efforts with allied realms in the case of slaying darkspawn and sharing knowledge The Legion shall further their efforts in testing, reserving the right to test anyone within the Capital. The Legion shall begin preparations for the destruction of darkspawn lairs The Legion shall continue to promote darkspawn testing across the realm Conclusion The forces of Khorvad should be deprived of easy-rest once more. ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE KIRKJA DVERGA.

I think Aevos looks fine imo, however I would personally prefer a SMALLER map. Not super small, but around 60% the size of the current map. I feel as though there's too much territory to the point it deincentivies conflict.

I do PK on first death as a general principle (except in PvP), but I understand those who don’t PK on small encounters like in banditry. I was at a raid once, and I saw people getting killed irp instantly and very quickly. I wouldn’t expect the person to PK under those circumstances because of how weak the scenario is. I personally would, that’s why I’m very cautious where I roleplay when I have a character that I don’t want to kill off. because I PK on first death, I would sometimes get genuinely nervous about leaving the city on my character, especially during the Veletz war because of how easy it was to get killed, and how I would lose the entire narrative I was building based on one bad encounter, so I ended up spending 95% of my time in the Urguan capital, and logging off in areas where it would be hard to kill me. This isn’t for everyone, and I get that, but I personally believe that Pking on first death really ups the stakes on my character, and contributes to the collective narrative. People want their deaths to fit their overall personal narrative, and because I’m super cautious, I’ve been very lucky to have deaths that do exactly that. I think I’ve pked three times in the past three years, and all three deaths have been ******* awesome.

Higher forum standards would be nice. Cracking down on meme-posts and OOC stuff. That’s about my only take. That halfling post that got like 200 rep was in my mind possibly the best post that represents everything wrong with modern forum posting.- 68 replies

I've extensively interacted with Mick for the past couple months, and my assessment from these interactions is that he is indeed a very capable rp leader in the LOTC community and has a very strong and unique ability to bring people together to achieve an rp goal and build a narrative. I have found him pleaseant to interact with, and he has displayed himself as very capable and bringing in new players and maintaing their interest in the server. Overall, I'd say he is one of the key integral players on this server who fosters and developers the rp narrative, ESPECIALLY narrative in regards to conflict, and losing him would be to the detriment of the server overall. Now, I'm not against metaplay rules, infact, I welcome any way to decrease metaplay, however I am deeply unsatisifed with the current specification of these rules, and the absolute miscommunication between staff and players in dealing with these rules. It's quite bad right now that there are no clear and specific guidelines on what constitutes as breaking the rules in regards to metaplay, save from one definition, from what I've seen.

Certainly! Here’s a generic response you can use for the forums: I get what you are saying, I agree that warclaims should be a fair and functional way to settle disputes on the server. Right now, with them being broken, it’s really frustrating for everyone involved. Wars are supposed to be competitive, strategic, and fun, but when the system doesn't work properly, it creates confusion and can lead to unnecessary tension between sides. Fixing the warclaim system is definitely important, not only for improving gameplay but also to keep things balanced and enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully, the issue will get addressed soon, so we can get back to fair and exciting battles. In the meantime, maybe there could be a temporary workaround or alternative system to handle wars until things are fixed. Thanks for bringing this up—I'm sure many players feel the same way!

Georgie Mareno would NOT be drinking tea when reading the missive, he would NOT sigh after reading it, and then most certaintly would NOT perk his brow and make a snarky comment. He would simply say: "Good"

I have an idea. Require that alliances and warclaims have 'proof of planning' inrp. In heists you have to post screenshots of the planning. The same should be done for alliances and warclaims. It would at the very least require people to actually rp them.
