i think guns are awesome. dont get me wrong. and i dont care about my magic becoming beat. i dont pick up magics for power, i pick them up for rp. i just think having to see the CIA-core haense military debriefs is enough and i know it'll completely switch up the theme of the server 

medieval fantasy RP server but we have steam boats, actual robots that may as well operate on binary code, voidal magic shotguns, voidal magic skype calls, steampunk elements, architecture that ranges from gothic victorian to 1920s new york to grimdark peasant towns, realms where actual dinosaurs exist, etc. I don't remember who did it but there was even once an eventline in which players traveled to a realm that had fully functioning steam powered trains, railways, street lamps, and pretty much every kind of techpower that apparently threatens LOTC's "theme" and makes people lose their minds

it's easy to call LOTC medieval-fantasy on a surface level for marketing purposes, but as soon as people use it as an actual reason as to why x or y shouldn't exist it immediately becomes incorrect and untrue because it doesn't account for literally any of the currently existing lore implements

LOTCis best played through the lens that people are just different and unique in their in-RP cultures and identities, including the types of weapons they use. don't go into a city and go "#looc wow this city is really modern looking and kind of breaks my immersion" go into a city and go "#rp wow this city is really unique looking and has an interesting culture that I haven't experienced yet." adopting this kind of attitude towards common RP instances or lore you otherwise don't like completely erases the "waaaah my immersion" mindset and makes it infinitely easier to just not give urself trouble over something that shouldn't even affect you

agreed, not having announcements made for bans is very weird, just results in more ooc gossip and speculation. i dont see why people are not allowed to know if someone was banned, if its for sensitive reasons then simply do not mention the parties involved. It would be safer for communities if people knew why someone was banned.

@ReveredOwlW take @xo31people can sound older then they are and "trustworthy individuals" what? you are saying actions like this should be allowed by players who are mostly staff members and nl(i.e high fire and gundam) these players are meant to be role models towards the new players and encouraging/allowing this type of behavior onto this server is completely wrong on so many different levels link back to the @Asuttopoints 

and evidently you out here defending them saying its not a big deal is very worrying and makes me believe that you would allow such actions/take part in them 

making the server 18+ would not only influence those younger to lie about their age but will also influence those of age to do weirder shit like werewolf said above.
