  8. Upon many trees, many pamphlets and some papers directly given through doors, the message gets out, and you have heard. The Ultimatum of Sa’Quorak Dunjal, of Va’Khajria List of Content; - Introduction - Section One - Our view on social class - Proposed social system - Section Two - Kharajyr Cults - Pride Halls - Section Three - Mating, marriage and union - Section Four - Political attitude - Tlatlanni attitude - Kharajyr attitude - Conclusion, the Ultimatum Introduction Dear Kharajyr. I come to you under reasoning I need not explain in detail, for you already know it to be the truth as it is. The current Tlatlanni, Morthawl, not what we expect. He has done good things in the past, but now he tilts on the edge of a knife. He abandons reason for madness, cowardice and craven behavior, and it shall not be tolerated by our people much longer. I come with this proposal in hope that order can be restored, and peace ensued to all Kharajyr, and all of our allies. Currently, Karakatua is suffering a great deal of bored, morbidness and a ‘lack of entertainment’. Your Tlatlanni sits in his palace and says “You can do what you please, if it shall please you.” So you do, but what then? Please yourself through your years? Why should you be the victim of laziness and cowardice? You shouldn’t. Your Tlatlanni should be providing entertainment for you. Assigning Kharajyr to arena duty, Gy’waka duty, and priesthood, are fine examples. All shall be discussed in the coming sections. Read well, my Kharajyr. And may Metztli guide your eyes. Section One - What was old must be restored Our view on social class Our social class system is poor, weak and far too equal. We do not respect our Tlatlanni as much as previous ones, as he does not expect such. He sits and waits until you realize he is the one in charge. This is wrong. The Tlatlanni is above all in Karakatua, and only equal to the likes of the Sages, but still then, in charge. Then there is his Met’zal. His Met’zal is his chosen life mate, and chosen bearer of the Empire’s future ruler. She must be given utmost respect, for as long as she is living and well. She, however, should have more duties. She should be complete in military strategy, stewardship or the art of coin. One or all, she must specialize. This way she can provide to Karakatua on a more efficient basis, and such will resemble the respect she receives from her people. Socially, she would be as the Aelkos would, to the Tlatlanni and his people. The Warriors of Karakatua are a deadly bunch, but they are in abundance for as much as they are worth. All children must either take mercantile, religious or militaristic arms upon the completion of their trials. The whole ‘Sa, So, Si and Su’ class should be for those who are no longer able to work, or who have not been deemed worthy of work. All Kharajyr would hold titles like ‘Ko, Ku, Ki and Ka’, ‘Ju, Ja, Ji and Jo’ or ‘Do, Du, Di and Da’. This way, Kharajyr are always specialized, just like the Tlatlanni’s Met’zal. Proposed social system Ruler; The Glorious Tlatlanni (Tla) Aelkos Council; - Aelkos of Coin (Ri) - Aelkos of Law (Ri) - Aelkos of War (Dri) - Aelkos of Tomorrow (Tlatlanni’s Met’zal - Tli) Nobility in Karakatua; - Champion of the Arena Under the discretion of the Aelkos of War, the Champion of the Arena may attend War Councils with the Aelkos. The Champion of the Arena, not including the rewards of winning, can be offered a home of their choosing if unoccupied. The Champion of the Arena may lead soldiers in battle. - Gy’waka Rider (Doh, Dah, Duh, Dih) Able to use their Gy’waka in events, such as sacrifices or festivals. They can be employed by the Aelkos of War for use in battle, and will be able to charge their Gy’waka fiercely upon the enemy. Some Gy’waka are also used as training for new Priests of their magic. - The Owner of Land (Ra) Owners of land are granted the right of inheritance. Their children may live to take their land upon death, and continue the inheritance in your name and eventually theirs. Landowners are able to host Kharajyr in their homes, or farms, or mines. Landowners can trade their land for goods, items and money. Or even favor. Religious social positions - The Sage Known for their age, Sages are the best skilled in the Kharajyr magic. They are known for teaching this magic, and providing it to willing priests, whom are also trained under them. The Sage is a highly respected elder, and is forced to be redundant from Prides, in order to ensure her position is not compromised. She works closely with the Tlatlanni in order to assume order in Karakatua in Metztli’s eyes. - The Priest The Priest is the only Kharajyr that can perform a ritual, ceremony of right, or sacrifice of life. These Priests are known for their attention in religious debate, and their ability to learn the magic of the Kharajyr. - The Acolyte Acolytes are those whom are still Cubs, and have made the definite choice of becoming a Priest. They are able to be tutored by Priests (notably not the Sage) in a more calm manner than official teaching, where they will learn the basics of priesthood. Militaristic social positions Leading Kharajyr: The Dri’, the Aelkos of Warfare. Commanding Kharajyr: The Dra’, the Moonblades Fighting Kharajyr: The Do’, Du’, Da’ and Di’ or the Doh, Duh, Dah and Dih. Honored social positions - The Tlatlanni’s Scribe This Kharajyr takes note of all letters that the Tlatlanni may need to send off shore. This is not a required position, but it allows the Tlatlanni to have ease when writing to allies or enemies. The Scribe is always a trusted Kharajyr, unless the Tlatlanni is too trusting. - The Moonblades The Guardians of Karakatua, but more so the Tlatlanni and his Aelkos. The Moonblades are those who protect him during escort, battle and negotiation. They are more unique to the Do’, as they are typically more suited to specialized warfare styles. - The Sage’s Servant Being an elder is hard work, so the Sage must have an extra hand. - The Pride Announcer If a Kharajyr wishes to create a pride, the pride announcer will deal with this. This way, no Pride goes unannounced, and unseen. Prides are told with pride. Apes - The Renew Apes that have dedicated their lives to Metztli, our Tlatlanni, and the Kharajyr. These people are sometimes slaves, but usually seen as the more useful tools of the Kharajyr. They are rarely ever seen as equals. - The Devote Apes that are slaves. They have devoted their lives to Metztli, but do not live upon her beloved island. They are apes, and are only seen as one that believes in our goddess. Kharajyr are generally nicer, but it is uncommon to see genuine acts of kindness displayed towards them. - The Undecided Apes that do not know, care or show loyalty to us, nor Metztli. Those who do not bend shall break. Section Two - Our way is the true way Kharajyr Cults Suggestion of such was debated briefly within the Kharajyr. Now, Kharajyr may create cults of Apes at their will, without the consulting of their Tlatlanni. These apes can be used to make slaves, servants or fighters. However, there are rules for this system. - No Kharajyr may use their Cult to attack another Kharajyr, unless a unlegislated Ape’Kha. - No Kharajyr may utilize their Cult in battle without consulting the Tlatlanni or Aelkos of War. - No Kharajyr may amass more than five members in a cult without consulting an Aelkos, or higher. Other than such, Kharajyr would be free to cult their apes as much as they wish. Though remembering the rules of the Empire. Pride Halls Our Prides would be conducted by the Pride Announcer. But when the Prides must meet with one and other, or the Tlatlanni, it is best to do so in a confined and proper locale. A pride hall would be constructed to house all Prides, at any time. This Pride Hall would function as a recreational hall for the use of all Kharajyr. However, certain guidelines should be followed during use; - Prideless Kharajyr must consult an Aelkos (specifically the Aelkos of Coin) to use the Hall. - Kharajyr with a Pride, no matter the rank, may use the Recreation Hall for any purpose. - No breaking the cutlery. Section Three - Love in the eyes of her, and us Mating - Note, this is optional and subject to legislation Kharajyr know their mating tendencies, but there are new standards that must become the norm of society unless we should suffer ape-like ruin. Kharajyr must only choose a Met’zal once. If their Met’zal has not perished, but has abandoned them, they may re-choose their Met’zal. Otherwise, no Kharajyr may choose another, especially if their Met’zal has perished. Kharajyr may not marry more than once, ever. Kharajyr are forbidden from public notations of affection* in front of the Tlatlanni. Attention must be on him. Kharajyr are, however, permitted public notations of affection* in front of any besides the sage. *Public notations of affection relate to the touching of the lips, constant holding of the hands and blatantly long hugging sessions. Small pecks, hand holding or hugs are permitted in moderation. Section Four - The attitude of old, versus the attitude of new Political attitude Kharajyr that hold political power must assume their role entirely. Their opinion is to be based on the political situation, and not because the Kharajyr favors one over the other personally. One must take into consideration the effect political occurrences have on the Nation as a whole. Political attitude should be that of the enlightenment of Apes, the brightening of Kharajyr future, and the influence of social groups to improve on Apes, and Kharajyr alike. Kharajyr are to act as ambassadors when leaving the island, always. They represent the Nation. Tlatlanni attitude The Tlatlanni is one to demonstrate power, but not pointlessly. He is the ruler, and thus his life is valued. When a Tlatlanni throws his life away, his name is struck and not remembered. A Tlatlanni must act with such a conviction that allows those who oppose him to fear doing so. Those who oppose the Tlatlanni shall be struck of life. The Tlatlanni is the mediator of our great people. He allows us to live, and allows us to live right. He is the chosen, and the wanted. But should he fail, he must be able to act on this. Kharajyr attitude Kharajyr must be ready to work for their Nation. Yet have entertainment at the same time. The Kharajyr will become fruitful people should they allow themselves to have the fun they desire. Creating events for themselves is not an abandoned idea. Hopefully, in the future, the current Tlatlanni (Morthawl) can adapt his ways and create more events for you Kharajyr. This way, your attitude will change. *Note, this section is optional to all Kharajyr, as your attitude is an influence that shall grow upon the higher social ranks. If they change, you will have your opinion on it, and then you will change on that opinion. Conclusion Tlatlanni Morthawl, please heed this message. This is for the betterment of all Kharajyr. It is in your best interests as the current Tlatlanni that you accept such demands in hope that the future of Karakatua is secured. If this is not completed, there is no telling what may happen to our Nation, or your position as Tlatlanni. Personally, I would see fit to ask Metztli myself to see whom must be Tlatlanni. But all Kharajyr have choice in this matter.

  14. The Dedicant whom sounded the horn. The Dedicant who left all his treasures in that one place that he thought he was safe. Unsettled. Shaken. Old he may be, and Elf was he. Age takes it's toll on the ancient, and not the elderly. He walked around the Grove like it was a happy place, peaceful and tranquil. Water drips and a nice dense fog to it, like a cave well-lit, but a tree. But the shadow crept in, and corrupted the fog, and turned it into a haze. Suddenly, Celthorn was surrounded by Shadow. They appeared in a flash, like lightning but silent. The Aspects were nowhere to be heard, even though this Dedicant had never heard their whispers. The Shadow's whispers were vile, horrid and disgusting. Plagued with his past, plagued with the screams of Aegis and Asulon, Elysium and Kalos. Celthorn stood resilient, though. He stood in the face of the darkness, the haze. Sudden was the strike that knocked him. The water that made the river had burst it's banks, and gushed onto the grass, soil and haze-filled mess on the floor. The Grove had perished into a wroth-filled nightmare. The Monks, though. The REAL Sanctuary, was untouched. And so seemed his body. He remembered the fog, the drips and the sound of birds. But because the sudden attack was such, he had no nightmares that night.
