    The whole going back to our roots is all nostalgic and stuff. But to be completely honest, its kind of impossible our roots were a bunch of 12-14 year olds running around doing subpar role-play. IDK how many of you are from Aegis. But its kinda of impossible, you would need to scrap like 90% of server rules and plugins. LOTC was pretty much free-form.

      The reasoning I heard for Availer was that he had some sort of controversy around him for siphoning money out of LOTC which was in the 10's of thousands since there was no EULA and then Vaq left admin or something and had the main source code which he allowed Tythus to bargain for.  Something along those lines but I do agree that countless rules do create a blockade for interactive and dynamic role-play. Raid rules currently only allow what might be a family of four as a lawless raiding cap anything more and it is prevented by intervening Game Mods. I do also believe that the more additions for plugins with the server we have now only creates more latency causing commands, interactions, and movements to be delayed.

      The RP might have been sub-par and cheesy but at least people were less bitter and knew how to act out their characters. Sadly, you're probably right and we're unlikely to return to that state.
