I think if Arcane Magic was JUST Arcanism, Transfiguration, Mental Magic and Telekinesis it would force everyone to be a lot more creative and would leave the elements to shamans and nature to the druids...
Well thats cause like, evocation was made only for combat casue I mean if you cant keep what you create around longer than just hurting people then its only useful for combat
