    What is a good name for a mage college sitting atop a high snowy peak? I would prefer it to sound good with the words Hold, Keep, or castle behind it. As of now I have the name Whitecliffe Keep. (Don't even think about saying Winterhold)

    I concur, the point of the matter is: don't think so hard. Do you know what electricity is? Do you know a basic idea of how it comes about? Do you know what it does? Also, perhaps this is an example as to why electrical magic should be bound to necromancy for it might be far to complex for minds such as Lotc mages to understand. As necromancers do not need to know how their magic works with science as they are a form of Divine magic.

    Allow me to say something about Fire Evocation, when a pyromancer is evoking his magic he must know how heat of any form is created, which is friction. That is the basis of ALL fire evocation, but what else is made with friction? Electricity? (ie: That little spinny thing that makes little electrical sparks) So, if one REALLY thinks about, one could say that electrical evocation would simply be an extended and more advanced form of fire evocation. Of course, only certain metals will allow this to occur

    Simple ideas...simple ideas, we like our science, but we are no rocket scientists. Using the four elements, other elements can be made. (ie: fire and earth= lava or wind and water= ice)

    I believe all one would need to use this form of Evocation magic is have a deep understanding of wind and fire, I do not think it needs its own element. However this guide could be used as perhaps a template for other Evocation types….and even Arcane Magic types in–general!

    Hey ya'all, I need your help in thinking of a story line for a c.y.b.e.rpunk story I plan to write based around LOTC. I was thinking of a young man who is the last in the blood line of Horen is being hunted down by his father who married his now dead mother who was actually in the blood line (His father would not be). His mother banished his father (The king) from the kingdom of Oren (Now modern and advanced) and died not long after. Now, without a proper king of proper age his father ...

    An old acquaintance of mine had a funeral today… she was in college with a scholarship for soccer, loved to read, faithfully religious, and terribly kind. She was hit by a car and her parents let her go because she would not have had any brain function if she recovered…. The saddest part was that her parents were divorced and didn’t even sit with each other at the funeral. I never knew this girl well, all I know is that she baby sat me when I was about 10…..tis a shame to see those so young...

      The part i find heartbreaking is the parents inability to sit with eachother at their daughters funeral. divorce sucks

      I thought that your signature was a bit lackluster. I'd bet someone such as yourself would have ample quotes and character pictures to fill a nice signature. ^_^

    Let us talk about the new 1.3 books. I LOVE THEM! However, you can only have their title so long. Other than that, I think LOTC book writing would be far more...simple if we used this new form of book writing.

    This is quite interesting; I can see shops opening up selling enchanted items, such as hoes of automatic gardening, little stone golems that clean for you. If you have ever seen the books written by Diana Wynne Jones, she makes magic seem much like it is in Lord of the craft. Wizards and Witches are not an uncommon sight, however they are still untrusted and what not. She had one book where a little toy trolley acted like a carting service to people around the house. It would bring plates of food to you and what not. Any-hoo, yes, I will bring this to the attentions of my fellows Magic Teamians and I am sure (I hope) they will have the same views on this as I do.
