  1. I think this is brilliant, including the way you're RPing it out.
  2. I hope Urara wins, then I get to become Warmistrezz.
  3. ((Does that mean we can finally hold that Boar-breeding contest for the travel beast?))
  4. That was one of the reasons I made the bed raid. I wasn't looking for conquering; I was looking for a big, quick, and fun battle. I think the orcs would agree with me. Like Blawharag said; we didn't sit and whine when we found the traps. We just countered them to the best of our ability. While we didn't manage to steal the beds, we did manage to do a lot of damage and actually make the Dwarf city look like it was assaulted by orcs. The battle really couldn't have gone any better. Both sides had reasons to walk away happy. We got to blow up chunks of your city, and supply room while losing mostly iron. You got to fend off a band of marauding orcs and even used one of our own holes against us at the end. Instead of making more rules; I feel that strikes or warnings should be given out to people who are really just trying to cause drama over an event. If one player starts harassing a GM, or another player after a War Claim then they should get punished for it. If you're not willing to suck it up and deal with the War Claim rules as they are then you need to remove yourself from open-scale conflict. Just don't show up to the battles if you can't handle it in a mature fashion. That's not to say you can't criticize the system; just don't do it in the most jerky way possible after the event. Use the Feedback forums and start a discussion.
  5. A warclaim about stealing beds is approved, but requiring food to live is not a good enough reason. Makes sense to me.
  6. It's mostly just a change in color, so that doesn't sound too bad. Like changing banners.
  7. They helped the undead and attacked/harassed Krugmar orcs on a regular basis.
  8. <Takes position opposite of his brother Blawharag. Clenching his axe tightly to met out orc justice as needed during the meeting>
  9. I have pet vultures. Their names are Beakklomp'r, Flappursmash, and Boomchiggun.
  10. ((Warclaims are OOC, and I don't attribute GM's with bias. Although I do understand some players do. Why not just ask another GM to handle the Warclaim instead?))
  11. ((Wait wait wait. The GM in charge of the War Claim section is not going to be answering the War Claim at all? That doesn't seem fair at all.))
  12. Me tink der should be a breedin' competition, fur whuever can make da mozt bubhosh animulz.
  13. Honestly; most orcs would probably prefer the fight over tribute.
  14. ((If this is going to become an issue why not just post the note just outside the city? Like on the road. This is pretty silly.))
  15. Gravel might be the best alternative. It's not my favorite model next to grass, but you need to work with what you have.
  16. If it was possible (it might be?) I might even say just have it be a dirt block road through the grassy areas. I mean dirt blocks that don't have grass on them (and can't grow grass). Most of the area is grass-dirt so it would be pretty easy to make out, and give it that "old school" road feel. But I don't know if it is possible to stop a dirt block from growing grass.
  17. I basically agree with Blawharag. The corpses idea is really good, and I like the desert idea. I like Sandstone on the default Minecraft texture because it literally looks like we made the road just by traveling it so many times. Like how real roads started.
  18. It might also be interesting to intermingling some Mori culture with orcish culture as another trait that sets your clan apart. You recognized X, Y, and Z as useful and decided to start using them as well.
  19. I also want to point out something both Ned (from a different thread) and Blaw brought up. "Strength" doesn't have to instantly mean "win a duel" or war. Jutra is a good example of an orc that shows strength by keeping the entire orc nation fed. She has a purpose in life and is well respected because of her critical role in the war nation. Orcs are a very pragmatic society. Every orc learns this before becoming a full adult.
  20. You also have to understand that War Claims need to be made ahead of time because of the waiting period. I don't see the problem with putting the claim in ahead of time because of not only the required waiting period, but they extended it even further. Remember, claims are made OOC. The reclaim claim was made OOC, not as an announcement to Hanseti in character.
  21. Stop kizzing agh klomp in da 'rena latz krykubbiez.
  22. If I'm not mistaken, both leaders (or more in this case) need to agree. Shouldn't you be contesting this with your leader that agreed to this, instead of Hanseti?
  23. Wait? So even if both sides agree, it's not allowed? GM's are going to start physically stopping players from fighting even if both sides agree?
  24. ((Whomever does the switching would likely take on a new name. If you sent a man to another clan, his name would change. If a female was sent over, her name would change. Strength rules all in orcish culture, regardless of gender. If you have this super powerful warrior (man or women) both could be used for strengthening ties.))
