  1. Archduchy of Austria and Holy Roman Empire Overview Emperor Leopold I along with his advisers would cautiously watch as the events of the world would appear before him, the foreign policy of Austria and by extension the greater Holy Roman Empire was one of neutrality due to the great religious wars that had been going on for many years. The Hapsburg Hegemony in Germany and Spain had held for so many years and Leopold would see it prepared for the coming centuries, with new ideas in economics, administration and even expansion. Watching the Russians and Ottomans about to enter a phase of war presented risk to further greater Muslim Expansion into Europe, however the Russians were far away and the relationship with the Commonwealth would seem more important due to them being direct neighbours. Economy The Imperial reforms into studying economics and the potential of reforming the systems to allow for greater access to free but fair trade within the Empire itself are looked into. Seeking to build upon concepts of free trade within the borders of the HRE, rather than to the greater world. (Mod) Domestic The reforms are then looked to be pushed into the smaller Catholic realms in the HRE, aligning their own central bureaucracy with the greater Imperial one being established in Vienna. In return for surrendering some domestic control over the bureaucracy the Austrians offer to pay for infrastructural improvements and ensuring economic protection for merchants within the Empire. However Leopold strictly forbids this occuring in the Protestant States, as not to upset them at this stage. (Mod) Diplomatic Ottoman Diplomats are received in Vienna but are told sternly to send a missive to the Sultan “Withdraw from Hungary and no longer proclaim yourself Caesar. Once this is done, amicable relations can begin.” as the Ottomans to the eyes of the Austrians claim the title King of the Romans, when it is in fact held rightfully by Leopold I. (Ottoman Player Response Required) Military The Austrian Military would look to improve their line infantry and command structure with their officers. Seeing the Ottomans Military reforms they would not have the Holy Roman Empire fall behind. Military Reforms to improve the quality of the soldiers and officers of Austria would be undertaken as to incrementally push reforms if successful across the Catholic States of the Empire. (Mod) A Mobilisation of Austrian Military Forces would be undertaken, at this time HRE States are not levied. They would encamp close to Vienna as to prepare for a potential campaign.
  2. The Kingdom of Fyr-Darrick Activity The Sun was setting upon the centre army group of the Fey Royal Army, the army itself was split into three camps in order to cover the majority of Lamentation, the damned City in the midst of the heart of the Forest itself. Supplies were carted in with new arrivals every few days, the Fey merchants now able to supply the army without Galaharian assistance with the City known as the Glade of Eternal Midnight now more than self sustaining and able to export its prosperity to the campaign. This however was unimportant for many of the Commanders and Princes that had been called to assembly, a few dozen trickling in from the rest of the Camp and from the Left and Right Army Groups, all eventually reaching the Royal Command Tent of King Eonir for an assembled War Council. The Commanders, Princes and other lower nobles of the Kingdom would discuss among themselves as the King had not yet made his appearance. They would begin idle chatter and a few camp follower servants would occasionally come in and pour wine or water as they’d assemble, most of which sit around a large table with the head still empty for the time being. Eventually after some time the King of the Fey, Eonir would enter the tent and those within would rise in respect and all servants and guards would take their leave from the outside of the tent to either stand guard or return to the kitchen tents. The King would take his seat at the head of the table and gesture for all attendees to sit and listen. “My time at the head of this campaign has come to an end, I have had visions from the Dagna, our Allfather and Chieftain.” he would say, his eyes are veined and glowing in a light green colour “I have bathed in the pools of life and have been given a task. But our task here is yet to be completed, I must pick a new commander and decide how our campaigns across the world will be lead before I go on this pilgrimage.” he would finish, looking to the many men around him “Prince Anaeran, you will take command of our army to help our allies outside the Greenthroat. Two thousand Cavalry and four thousand of the Greenthroat Guard. I leave Her Worship, the High Priestess Dycha in command of our forces here, those remaining must act as her staff and ensure the assault runs smoothly.” the Elder Fey would say taking a breath. “I will be taking one thousand of the cavalry with me on my pilgrimage as my honour guard. I depart on the following year. I will not want to come back to find Lamentation still under the control of Darkyria, I give you three years to build a sufficient force to take the city.” Eonir would finish before standing and leaving the tent immediately without a single word, followed closely by his honour guard. The Princes and Commanders would feel somewhat confused, not being given a say over the command, they would begin building a staff around the High Priestess but effective Military Command was put to Prince Arloth of the Glade of Eternal Midnight. In the Homeland a great migration is planned by the Warden of Fyr-Darrick, Prince Aeleandor who managed to spend the yearly budget quickly as to see his ambitions come to fruit. Four towns across the frontier are planned for this year. Such expansion is hoped to connect the two territories of Fyr-Darrick creating a vast inland Empire prime for development especially in Agriculture due to the proximity of the Font of Life. Even more economic expansion was planned by the Politician Prince of Fyr-Darrick, many in the Military and on the Princely Council quietly complain about his almost ‘Outsider’ conduct. The Prince’s ambitions are still yet to be seen as next he would seek to expand Northward on the Barrier and around the Mountain pass, but these plans had to be held off for the time being due to the lack of population to migrate. Expenditure and actions Four new settlements are planned to expand the frontier Westward towards Darkyria in a hope to continue to eventually connect the two Fey Territories together once again. (20,000) Three merchants guilds would be built in the newly established Cities that were formed in the previous year. (30,000) Two new farms are established in order to maintain the present level of population growth for the Fey (10,000) To replenish the numbers lost in over the course of the war, two units are created of Greenthroat Riders to be equipped fully in Steel Equipment. (19,000)
  3. The Kingdom of Fyr-Darrick Nation Stats Activity A fire was raging in a small campsite in what appeared to be the heartland of the Kingdom of Fyr-Darrick. A grouping of Fey would be sitting around it as a Priest would gather them around to hear tales of their people and their history. The crowd gathered were Fey of the Cities, something more civilized than their rural brethren that can be found deeper in the Forest, away from the bustling cities. As the crowd would gather around him so that they could fully hear what he had to teach them on that evening. “Fey of Fyr-Darrick, Children of the Forest and all members of the Tribe of the Great Chief, the Allfather Dagna whom is the Elder Soul of this world and the realm that which we come from. I will tell you the story of our people, of our past, our present and our future. In the beginning our people resided in the realm of Tír na Fey, the realm of our God and many others, we are not of this world and nor is our Great Greenthroat. This world we reside on was made for the humans, though our ancient lore no doesn’t state by who or for what purpose. The Allfather would have his task to populate this world with life of plant and beast among his other contemporaries in the great Pantheon.” “For his efforts he was rewarded with the ability to create his own realm that which became Tír na Fey and he was given a wife to which he had twelve sons. He would then go on to sculpt the first of our people out of marble and with a snap of his fingers we were given flesh and form, an undying beauty from when we are first born until when we return to the Forest. However the times of peace and prosperity outside of Tír na Fey would not last, the Great Pantheon had another that none knew of, the Great Fallen One whom was born of hate and all things negative.” “It was he who would conspire with Death itself as he hated all Creation and wished to see it vanquished and Death wished to further his domain and followers, creating a new realm out of this world of pure death and only those who live in the state of Undeath would command it as his Lieutenants. As such the two vile ‘Gods’ schemed together and began building an army to strike out against the humans through corruption and force they even attained followers among the humans. They struck out in Naros and Aros spreading like wildfire on a dry summers day, consuming and leaving behind nothing but ash and bodies that would be added to their army.” “However, From Ruination the Allfather took this time to act as he would not let the humans be conquered and used in such a manner, nor would he let the vast amounts of life he gave this world to be destroyed in the name of the ego of the Fallen One and the ambitions of Death. Tens of thousands of Fey Warriors would travel down the Bridge Between Worlds and throw themselves at the ranks of Death and those who accepted the corruption of the Fallen One. The armies clashed with the Fey supported by beasts and the nature of the world itself, they were not alone as the forces of Light itself were gathering together across the entirety of the world.” “The Armies of the Fey and those of the Forces of Light gathered together for what would be the final battle of this Great War, the disintegrating Human Empire still had many among them who were brave and true who would stand with the Fey.” the Priest would stop to take a breath, an initiate of the Faith would offer him a horn of water to which he would accept before using his stave to dig a small ditch into the dirt assisted by his magic, roots separating it apart. He would pour water into the ditch and speak once again “This my children is the Barrier, but it was not always so, it was formed in the Great War in the final battle.” “Powerful and ruinous Magic was cast that day, champions of the Pantheon all fought and cast their most powerful spells creating a massive imbalance. The Bridge Between Worlds remained open so that our army could continuously be reinforced by Tír na Fey, but with each passing day of this seemingly endless battle the forces of Death grew and the Fallen One continued to corrupt humans to his side. It was at this moment the Champion of The Allfather and the Champion of the Deep One had decided to do the unthinkable. All the Mages of the Fey would channel their powers together, giving their energy to the Bridge Between Worlds to bring about the destructive powers of life. The Mages of the Deep One would begin channelling the powers of the sea to them in a great and powerful ritual.” “The result of this combined magic ritual is part of Tír na Fey transported itself down to this world, the Greenthroat was born and it became a weapon, taking in and destroying the forces of both Death and the Fallen One, forcing a retreat of their army. As they would retreat the Barrier began to form as the sea would come inland and drown them as they fled into Naros and some attempting to flee through into Aros and the Greenthroat. However in the rage of petulance and defeat the Fallen One manifested as much of his disgusting power as possible, shattering the Bridge Between Worlds. Though in the end it was a victory for the forces of light and life, but it was one achieved at the cost of trapping hundreds of thousands of Fey in this world, this world that we must act as Guardians for as was our ancient duty before. In the history since the Allfather had chosen Kings from the Bloodlines of his sons, but we had grown complacent and ignored the growing tumour in our own forest.” “The War in the Forest was not something that the Priesthood, the Princes or anyone in the Fey foresaw and it means that the times are changing. If Death could fester in the very heart of our home, then where else is it growing in this world. Not least to think that the Fallen One could be building forces up once more to strike out against this world, the forces of light and life are perhaps not as strong as they once were in the Great War, but we must prepare ourselves for the wars to come. If the Fey and our allies can push back these forces of darkness once again, then perhaps there is still hope we can one day return home to the rest of our people in Tír na Fey.” The Elder Priest would finally finish, gently sitting himself back down on the log as the children and adults around him had begun a gentle applause for his story. The fire still raging and the moon shining through the canopies of the Greenthroat, the Mage Priest knew that the time would soon be upon the Fey to march in force outside the borders. Lamenting over the thought that the forest creatures would not understand as they do, they were the Guardians of all life and must preserve it, human or humagi alike. Expenditure and Actions 3,000 is spent on shaping a new tree-folk, a new Ent will join the Fey Army. 5,000 is spent on building another town to expand the territory Westward again. 45,000 is spent on upgrading all existing towns to Cities. 20,000 is spent on building 4 Farms. 4,000 is spent producing 1,000 Steel Equipment.
  4. Archduchy of Austria and Holy Roman Empire Overview The Habsburgs hold on the Holy Roman Empire and its Imperial Title was secure and the familial alliance between the Habsburgs of Austria and those of Spain remained strong and intact. Leopold I was the latest in the lines of Austrian leaders of the Holy Roman Empire, the recent conflicts had left the Empire reluctant to go to war for further conquests that would be for the glory of the Habsburgs leaving most of the territorial gains for the Austrians. This was a mood that the Emperor couldn’t ignore or bypass for the time being and it was imperative for the integrity of the realm to be maintained and strengthened. Economy The Imperial Court would fund endeavors to look into economics, strengthening the Austrian Economy and then looking to see if such methods could be spread across the Empire in order to raise the realms prosperity and enrich the everyday lives of the Merchants, Nobles and Peasants alike. (Mod) The Imperial Court would accept offers of trade from their neighbours, though would use Spanish Merchants to handle most of its oversea trade. (Mod) Domestic Policy The Austrian part of the Empire would see the realm Centralise further, in order to have a straightforward and efficient bureaucracy, though for the time being no such effort is attempted in the greater HRE as not to infringe on the freedoms of the smaller states. (Mod) Diplomacy The Austrians would accept a defensive Pact with the Poles, though makes clear it has no intent to wage aggressive war with the Turks at this time.

Soon the realm of pestilence and decay would find itself surrounded by forest with the Greenthroat once more flourishing in this cursed land. Whats more a point of interest the Adepts had spied as they communicated with the birds and beasts of the forest would now be open to be taken, the War in the Forest was drawing to its end and with it new information is sure to be revealed about the mysterious continent spanning forest that they call home. Losses still needed recouping however, it was now time to rebuild troops that were lost in the recent battle, even if there were relatively few. The Fey knew they had to keep strengthening their army as opposed to the lethargy that gripped them during the first siege. More heavy and medium infantry would be recruited in the coming years in order to keep the military dominance of the Fey around during this war. As such the treasury would be put back to work ensuring sustained economic growth along with meeting the demands of the Military. The more Liberal Princes of the homeland growing dissatisfied as they had hoped for another year of pure economic growth. Thousands more troops have arrived to reinforce the Fey Army from Galahar and from the Holy Empire of Grimsborith, now tipping the numbers into the Feys favour for the first time since the war began. King Eonir would order a march, bringing forth all the veterans, commanders and officers that had been acquire over the course of the war. These last few years of the campaign would be decisive. Within the heartlands of Fyr-Darrick much of the treasury had been freed up for at least this year alone, leading to the Warden of Fyr-Darrick, Prince Aeleandor to order many manufacturers to be constructed within the territory of the heartland so that revenues could increase over the next year. Part of his many schemes to grow the Kingdom through patience and economics rather than the traditional Fey isolationism. Though it is upsetting some of the conservatives at home due to the Port City of Anmyr being the focus of much of the treasury, coincidently being Aeleandors own City. Expenditure 3,000 is spent on the creation of an Ent. 60,000 is spent on building 8 Manufactories.

same rules are then applied on you when you have to defend.

Immediately it became apparent to the King that more troops were needed to finish this war, thousands more, perhaps tens of thousands. The Fey Treasury had seen remarkable growth over the years when it came to increasing revenues to fuel the war, but even this would take a few years to achieve the desired result and continue the long and heavy march through the land of death. To this effort a heavier footman was needed to help hold the lines. The Royal Army itself would situate itself on the other side of the bridge and would maintain patrols to protect the crossing, though at this point is was unlikely that the Darkyrians could make a crossing for a flanking move. In the homeland armourers and Military theorists would begin to formulate the ideas around a heavier footman in response to the reports of the Battle of the Bridge in the West of the Greenthroat and the heavy troops utilised by the humans there. In response to the Wolves joining the army in the Battle a new Temple would be constructed in the occupied Darkyrian lands, specifically within the City taken from them so that the God of Life might begin to take hold over the land once again. Not least to increase the amount of adepts that might join the army in the amount of healers and to ever increase the potency of the spells offered by their god. Another migration from the homeland would be ordered so that the borders could once more expand in the direction of the newly acquired territory. Meanwhile on the desolated battlefield… As the last man fell on the Darkyrian side and their army had fallen into retreat the Royal Fey Army would take the field, battered, bloodied and beaten it had managed to somehow hold the line against what would nominally be considered overwhelming odds. Largely due to the Cavalry commanded by Prince Anaeran. As the dust would settle, much of the vanguard would cross the bridge and secure the crossing for the Fey, a victory was a victory and to squander the strategic land gained would be unwise, the rest of the army were set to gathering the dead on both sides though leaving the Galaharians for the Galaharians. The general order being to bury each dead body with the seed of a great tree of the Forest so that from their deaths, life could once more spring free in this desolate land and to try and find forgiveness from the God of Life for those who were adherents to his counterpart in death. King Eonir would walk the fields of death seeing the many bodies strewn across the battlefield waiting for collection, the blood, the gore, the soggy mud. This war was his doing and he rushed into action perhaps before the Fey were ready to fight it, in his fanatic ferver to see the death cult ousted from the woods that he cherished. He would shed but a single tear as he’d stroll across the battlefield before moving to look upon the bridge that he won with the lives of his people, was it worth it? Could this threat have been dealt with at a later date? Many questions crossed the weary Kings mind, he was the chosen King of the God of Life, yet he had to deal out so much death to protect and preserve life itself. Embittered at this thought, he’d begin to cross the bridge so that he might return to the war camp and the Royal Officers tent with many inside celebrating what is considered Prince Anaeran’s Victory due to his cavalry moves. He’d peel open the inside and move to sit at the head of the Officers table, many of the Fey Knights, Officers and Princes assembled wine in hand chatting about the Cavalry. After some time Prince Anaeran would move to sit next to Eonir, attempting to get the weary Kings attention in order to cheer him up, the young Fey sensing the Kings sorrow. “My King, we won against all odds today the Gods were with us, why do you feel so sorrowful?” asked the younger Prince, “We lost too many men, no matter the strategy or whatever victory we pulled from the jaws of defeat. I should have retreated and built up our numbers.” he’d state sternly, grasping a nearby goblet of wine. “We had to weaken them, if we didn’t that army would have just grown stronger! We have more gold than them now and can build up our army and smash them when we campaign again.” the fiery Fey say with a look of almost excitable determination. “You’re a Prince of Life, too eager to shed blood even in the name of our Gods, though you can be forgiven for your youth.” he’d say with a sigh “The Campaign is on hold for a few years, you are to travel to Danwent and represent our Kingdom in a grand tourney there.” raising a hand to the Prince as he saw him about to speak “Its important to observe the outer world, you’ve proven yourself in battle now prove yourself in politics.” the King finishes, the Prince nodding albeit slightly frustrated being sent away from the front “Enjoy yourselves, tourneys win as much glory as battle.” Expenditure 15,000 is spent on recruiting 2,250 Greenthroat Guard with base equipment. 15,000 is spent on researching Heavy Infantry. 5,000 is spent on a new settlement expanding the borders Westward again, inching closer towards their disjointed occupied region of Darkyria 5,000 is spent on a farm 10,000 is spent on a new Temple 6,000 would be spent on an expedition on the Fey controlled side of the river heading Northward in order to reach its source in an attempt to find a potential route to flank around Darkyrian patrols on the road. The Veteran Light Archers would be utilised as Scouts in this regard. They would snake across the river and keep to the wooded areas and only engage patrols from a distance if they are confident that they can take them in a fight. Should they find a way to be able to snake around the source of the river they are commanded to split into smaller groups to continue the scouting to ascertain whether or not sending a large force to circumvent the Darkyrian Army in a potential flank is a viable move. An adept would be sent with them so that they could communicate with animals and command them if need be. https://i.gyazo.com/3cdc8fa05fe19c52e406cf520764e99c.png

This did leave certain elements of the Homeland undefended and due to this more Light Infantry militia was required to be raised in order to keep the homeland safe and maintain the trade routes for the Fey Merchants moving goods across the borders. Migration would also be an issue due to the fact the newly occupied and conquered territories required new settlers as the humans had otherwise been driven out in all directions, as such the Capital prepares a migration of Fey using the tried and tested supply routes to transport civilians across the year, along with further migration to expand the existing borders to start the long process of connecting the borders. In Darkyria the outlying city had finally been taken along with its keep, many migrants would be sent to populate this new region to expand the borders of the Fey and see the forest truly be populated by people of their faith and race. The campaigning season would however end this year but it would give opportunity for the Fey to send more troops, as it was still going to be a hard slog to finally stamp Darkyria out from the world. Another two regiments would be recruited and equipped with better weapons as the start of a process of outfitting the Fey Army with only the best that could be acquired. Expenditure 5,000 is spent on migration this turn, moving thousands of Fey to the captured Darkyrian City and turning it into a proper Fey City itself. 5,000 is spent on expanding the borders, seeking to begin the process of eventually joining up with the Colony territory deep within the woods in occupied Darkyria. 25,000 is spent on building the first half of a Hermitage somewhere within the Kingdom. 10,000 is spent on building a Merchants Guild in the City of Modryn. 6,000 is spent on creating 1,500 worth of Steel Equipment to be shipped to the front. 1,000 is spent recruiting a unit of light infantry in order to assist maintain order within the borders. 10,000 is spent on recruiting two units of Greenthroat Guard and equipping them with steel weapons, sending them to the front to march off to battle at the beginning of the following campaign season.
  15. Empire of Japan Overview 1933 The Empire of Japan had sat still since the end of the Great War consolidating the many gains it had made throughout the conflict, even if they were but Islands in the pacific they were former European territory and it gave many pride in Japan although others believe the cost outweigh the gains. The Taisho Era had also ended within this current period of time rising with the Shōwa period and ascension of Hirohito the Emperor of Japan, descendent of the Sun Goddess herself. The Americans had collapsed in on themselves, showing the horrors of Republicanism and allowing too much democracy in such a decadent culture and the Imperial Throne, Civil Government and Military Branches were quick to ensure such foolish notions would not spread to their own people. However with the world order rapidly changing it gave Japan another opportunity in history to rise in its economic, industrial and imperial prestige. The Chaos in the Americas proved to be most fortuitous for the burgeoning power in the East, with the collapse of the consumer manufacturing base it was time for the Japanese take full advantage of its own rapidly growing industrial base and to offer certain high skilled Americans asylum in the Country as a type of second Meiji Restoration to encourage more modernisation in the economy and industrial base and how the Japanese urban cities are structured. There was also ample opportunity to seize holdings in the pacific that were otherwise left undefended by a disputed Government in the Americas. Economic Actions The Japanese would enact an ambitious plan of modernisation of the economy seeking to diversify into a lot of large scale manufacturing and financial services. Encouraging and guiding its Zaibatsus (Large Corporate Conglomerates) to expand and seeking to export around the relevant consumer goods markets in the Americas, Europe and so on. (Mod) Economic Experts from the fields of banking, manufacturing and such would be offered asylum in Japan from North America as the civil war stalled and the former nation fragmented, they’d be offered very generous compensation in return for their expert opinions in how to maintain a market system of economy. (Mod) Diplomatic Actions The Fengtian would be covertly offered support from the Empire of Japan, seeking to befriend this Monarchist faction early on in the civil war to stand as a bulwark against Republicanism. (Mod) The Pacific States of America are offered an agreement of trade and at present recognition of their status as an independent nation. (Mod) Military Actions The Army and Navy are instructed by the Civil Government at the behest of the Imperial throne to begin planning out an invasion of the Philippine Islands, gathering intelligence to build a sufficient force to commence an invasion within the year or on the following year if further preparation is needed. Though obviously this would not be public information (Mod) The Imperial Navy is given priority at this time to expand its Destroyers and Cruiser numbers for the next two years as a period of Naval Expansion for two years. (Mod) The Army is promised resources to research a tank project once the Philippines is secured. Research The Imperial Japanese Air Force would be given funding to research into better fighters, typically their resources don’t compete with the Army and Navy due to the lacking steel as much. To the effort of inspiring growth more farmlands are readied to allow the Fey Cities and lands to be less sparsely populated and for life to flourish throughout the Greenthroat. New Elite Units are formed in the home territories as well, in order to send them to assist in the war against the Carrow Lords as to maintain the Greenthroat Pact in order to continue cordial relations with the neighbours of the Fey. War was becoming a fast acquaintance of the people in the Kingdom, having to pay out to meet the ends of one major war their army was fighting and sending support to friends of the Fey for theirs. In the realm of Darkyria the summer had past and the army spent another Winter in this land which day by day is becoming more like the home that they had left so many years ago. The Forest had grown around the City and spread to all territories the Darkyrians could no longer exercise control over, forcing displaced peoples to flee to their capital and leaving their Southernmost city alone and abandoned by their main army, time was now firmly on the side of the Fey Army and there was nothing the necromancers could do about it. Soon the City would be under complete control of the Fey and then they’d finally meet the humans in the field, allowing some frustration to be relieved by bitter soldiers. As the Darkyrian Army grows on the border of the occupied territories they attempt to probe and scout their way through the regrown forests, only to find well placed arrows and ambushes from Greenthroat riders to run them down and send them to the God they revere as they do. The Fey would allow the occasional survivor so that they might tell tales of what they encountered, to see if their fanaticism in the death god outweighed natural instincts to survive that surely the humans must have. With the springs approaching the assault on the City could go ahead as planned, any who would get in the way would be summarily slaughtered, civilians would simply be better off avoiding the marching Fey Columns. Expenditure 15,000 is spent on consolidating the territory around the West Most City of Tal Sivoc which is the Westernmost City of the Kingdom, consolidating the border around the frontier before the interior town of Modryn is seen to. (Modryn is due East of the of Tal Sivoc while the latter is on the Western Frontier) 20,000 is spent on building 4 farms. 500 is spent maintaining supply routes through the Greenthroat from Galahar. 16,000 is spent on recruiting 1,800 Greenthroat Guard with Iron Weapons, they are to be sent to the front upon completion of their training. 7,200 is spent on taking Soldiers from the Home Garrison Greenthroat Guard and upgrading them into Elites with T3 Equipment. Upon their completion that will be sent to aid the Bordeleaux. 7,500 is loaned to the Galaharian Bank.

The Fey Army still had supplies and the Darkyrians would have expended many lives and resources in its defence, a general order would be given that come the next assault all would be considered combatants if they got in the way of the Fey, the fanatical devotion of death by some of the Darkyrians had embittered to any sense of reasonable quarter. More troops would be moved in over the course of the year to help fill replacements of those lost in the assaults. Most of the losses sustained could be accounted for and income was rising back in the homeland, a missive from the King however put some of the Princes in an anxious move, a proposed migration to repopulate the region with Fey. This meant that all humans would be depopulated from the region either through forced migration or effective genocide, there was naught that could be done as the Sages of the Elder Soul had said the Forest demands their removal through whatever means necessary. On the streets of what was to the Fey an unnamed city the scene would be grim, piles of bodies would be burning and smoke would rise as far as the eye could see. From the walls the regrowth of the forest offered respite to many of the fanatical elements of the Fey Army and its leadership, despite the generous offer of civilians leaving many would not as they’d find themselves killed before they’d reach Fey controlled territory in the City. This was but the first siege they’d go through and there was at least another for them to come. Fey Sappers would shore up the defences for the new siege camp around the walls, seeking to ensure no enemy would get the jump on them. This war took grim determination and was beginning to shape the culture of the Fey from within the army and spreading to the capital with the shocking stories that would come out from the warfront. More soldiers being recruited, more armour being produced, the Royal Fey Army seemingly being relied on and discovering the potential of outside threats. Expenditure Another 16,000 would be spent on Trade Caravels once again. 10,000 would be spent on constructing two farms. 10,000 would be spent constructing a temple in the City of Anmyr 500 would be spent with the Galaharian Merchants, maintaining the flow of goods, supplies and men towards the front. 6,000 would be spent recruiting 900 Greenthroat Guard (T2 Unique Infantry) would be recruited and sent to the front for the next year. The equipment required for them would be ready for them at T2 Iron.

Among the leaders of the Army grave news was given as it was discovered by the scouts that the Darykrians were amassing a great army by their capital and had not been sitting idle while the siege goes on. However with the City been under siege for four years now their internal supplies had to be running low. This was the year they could take the City. In coordination with the Bulgar Princes, the Great Stag, Eonir the King of all Fey would begin planning the assaults for the year to attempt to make their breakthrough into the City. The Army had grown tremendously and now was better supplied with new equipment, along with added allies it was hoped that this would be the key to victory this year. With that funds would be set aside to ensure the construction of ample siege equipment for both sides to make use of. The King was determined to see that this be the year that this infernal city would break to his will, so that the Darkyrian Capital could be moved on next. In the homeland the expansion of the territory had been undertaken, a great migration Westward to further establish a new town on the outer fringes of the Kingdoms territory had been undertaken. Believing there was naught in the West was the folly of the Fey of Yore, it had allowed the Darkyrian menace to establish itself as a threat to the very forests. These new settlements would be a priority in ensuring the Fey were the only ones truly populating the Greenthroat. To this effort more natural growth along with the migration would be seen to with the expansion of the farmlands in the Eastward Principalities of the Fey. Military Maneuvers Assaults against the besieged City begin once more in earnest, Mangonels throwing stones at the walls, gates and overhead. Expenditure 16,000 is spent on Trade Caravels 10,000 is spent on two farms. 500 is spent maintaining the trade route with Galahar

The army was larger now and the War Camp was more something of a wooden fort now to house the vast army, the swelling of the ranks likely did nothing to give fear to those who seemingly worshipped death, but it lowered their advantage day by day. While the City may have started the siege with supplies, it had been over a year since they received them and there had been no harvests in two years. Death worshippers they may be but all require food, as the shambling corpses could only be raised for so long. In the Kingdom the Council of Princes had approved yet another expansion of borders, seeking to go further West and eventually over the course of many years grow to cover the entirety of the Green Throat as was demanded by their God. The Forests were solely the home of the Fey and all invaders would eventually be pushed out one way or the other. Even if it takes a thousand years it is the destiny of the Fey. However such was the future, now was the time to merely consolidate territory, expanding West. This no doubt would assist in the transportation of supplies long term. Meanwhile in the Siege Camp.... Within the War Camp inside of the tent reserved for those important, the officers, nobles and even Princes that attached themselves to this army. A young Prince had arrived with the thousands of reinforcements that came in that year, Anaeran was his name and he marched among the regular Fey Spears to the War Camp that year at the behest of his Princely house to join the Kings war effort. His mind was full of wonder seeing this land that had been ravaged by the war, that which was the Greenthroat but raped by the humans. His perspective and ideals challenged seeing what foreigners could do to such a land. He would find himself alone in the War Councils tent, patrols of five or so spearmen would walk past periodically as he’d twiddle a figurine representing one of the armies on the war table betwixt his fingers. His mind drifted and he found himself losing track of his surroundings as he’d think, eventually only being thrown out of it after he noticed the figure standing before him, Eonir the Great Stag. Anaeran would rise to attention “My King!” he’d say almost exclaiming, with a slight stammer as he had been caught in surprise, the figurine falling from his fingers onto the floor below. “At ease Prince, your father sent you here to the warfront as it is expected he will resign his seat on the Council soon. You’ll be given command over a brigade of Cavalry, it will be part of your job to ensure the Darkyrians don’t surprise us with an army.” The King would state, moving to sit at the head of the table as the younger Fey would relax his stance, letting out a relieving sigh “Most on the Council are over a century old, we need to see how you do. After this war there may be more for you to do yet.” the King would finish, before allowing Anaeran to say a word he’d gesture his exit the young Fey Prince having to do so. Anaeran would exit the tent and begin traversing the expansive and quite literally expanding War Camp as new arrivals would even now continue to arrive within the palisades set up to keep the Army safe from ambushes. He’d ponder on the sudden responsibility not only his father wished on him but also the King himself, questioning why now was the time he was chosen for any Military assignments, then there was talk of more. It was a lot for his mind to comprehend until at last he reached his tent. He would rest up as it would seem he’d be in the saddle for potentially the next few years in this Godforsaken part of the Greenthroat. Expenditure 16,000 would be spent on building four trading caravels. 500 is spent placating Galaharian Merchants to keep the supplies going. 5,000 is spent on a new settlement, heading further West. https://i.gyazo.com/5c4d189eb03514e0cd8108d40c7dfdab.png
  21. Polish-Lithuanian Kingdom Late 1921 Poland had finally ratified becoming a Kingdom under the Russian Union through sheer force of will of the Nationalist Party of Poland, lead by Pilsudski, however the price was aligning with the fascists of Poland which has caused increase tension between the ruling Government and the Socialist Party of Poland. Tensions were rising between the Duma and the Sejm of Poland, diplomacy had to be maintained in this trying time. The Dutch Flu still rampaged across the world and now was not the time for Poland to become embroiled in a war with what was an ostensible ally to it, the coronation of King Casimir V of the newly minted Royal House of Czartoryski would be key to winning back support. For the matter of the Socialists it was a difficult one, many leaders of the Socialist Party were former allies of Pilsudski and his Nationalist Party, Fascism seemed to have been rising and his attempted appeasement has only emboldened them and caused a wing of his party to become Ultranationalist. The social strife would have to be settled after the Polish-Lithuanian King had been crowned and then hopefully the wounds between the ideologies could be healed now that much of the wrongs of the past had been righted without bloodshed to boot. The Old Order was collapsing around the world, Poland stood ready to rise in this chaos and become the power it was once was and the power it was meant to be. The Eastern Europeans had been long oppressed by those in the West and now with their economies and overseas empires in disarray the Polish had learned under their former masters on how to build their nation, their economies and avoid the mistakes made. Domestic Political Policy The Coronation of Adam Michal Czartoryski whom is taking the regnal name Casimir V would be planned to be undertaken in the Winter. Marshal Pilsudski would extend the olive branch to the Russian Duma and the Tsar, inviting them to once more build bridges and calm the mood currently prevailing within the Russian Union. Officials from the State of Hungary would also be invited and encouraged to attend. (Mod) The State of Hungary is approached to begin to establish relations with the newly minted State to attempt to begin a friendship between a peoples who have long sought independence but had been under the foot of German Elites. Seeking solidarity and friendship. (Mod) In the sudden collapse of the old world order, skilled engineers, scientists and other highly skilled individuals would be invited to come into Poland to begin work. After sufficient screening for disease or potential spies. (Mod) Lithuanian would become an official language of the Kingdom, it would be mandatory for schools to teach it. Though this would also require Lithuanian Children to be able to speak Polish, the Military itself would be dominated by Poles and to become an Officer would require a Polish test.(Mod) Pilsudski would give a National Address at the Sejm and it would read as follows “In the years in which Poland has achieved effective independence we as Poles and Lithuanians have worked together be you Nationalist, Socialist, Liberal or even Fascist. We now have restored the Crown of Poland-Lithuania that had been stolen by German Elites and even formerly some in Russia. But make no mistake we are a Constitutional Democracy with a Monarchy to ensure the fair and balanced mandates and the Constitution is upheld by any Democratically Elected Government. By no means are we to abandon Democracy, but by no means are we going to let Democracy destroy our Constitution that guarantees the rights of all those within our Country.” It would be a statement effectively condemning political extremes and calling for order and unity between the Political Parties of the Sejm. (Mod) Domestic Economic Policy As per the Four Year Plan the Polish Steel Works continue to receive their subsidies. However with the collapse of Austria and the Anti Semite Emperor of Germany in power the Rothschild Bank is offered a favourable place in the Polish-Lithuanian Kingdom to jumpstart the Eastern European Banking Sector. (Mod) With the Port of Klaipeda, Poland would begin to export its goods to whatever markets desired them. Klaipeda itself would be the subject of infrastructural development to make it a proper commercial port. (Mod) The Arms and Automobile Industries now had potential foreign markets to enter, while Poland itself remained quite protectionist in order to allow its fledglings industries thrive it would seek to export to those who would have them. (Mod) Domestic Health Policy With the Dutch Flu on the rage it was time to properly set up health services across the Kingdom, ships arriving in port would be screened and properly quarantine until cleared. Thankfully Polish Protectionist Policies at the time would limit the inflow of people and goods through its new seaports. Treatment for those suffering from the Dutch Flu would be a priority for the newly established Polish National Health Service. Money, resources and help would be given at any turn. (Mod) Domestic Security Policy Pilsudski would begin to get paranoid, from many of his men he would seek to begin to create a Polish Secret Service to act as the Kingdom’s counter-espionage and espionage unit. Only those of high experience, intelligence and loyalty would be selected for this program. Un-Polish-Lithuanian Activities would be sought to be uncovered, from internal dissent to foreign influence. (Mod) Military Policy The Polish Army would remove itself from the border, as a gesture of goodwill to the new Hungarian State, though the Polish Army would be stationed on the border with Germany though nothing out of the ordinary. (Mod) The Polish would seek to enlarge the army with recruits from the new territories, seeking to bolster and strengthen its army. (Mod) Research Should production of the first Armoured Car finish, it would undergo testing in Military exercises to determine its effectiveness. (Mod) Further looking into the concepts of Mechanisation through now presumably incredibly skilled Polish Engineers (YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS MOD)

No assaults for this year more consolidation of their position. Protected caravans would travel up and down from the territory of Galahar and a fee had to be paid to ensure they would keep coming, the greediness of the Galaharian Merchants was to be expected and remembered in future when it is advantageous for the Fey to do so. As such more reliable allies were on their way, the Lithborn of the Kingdom of Bulgar were sending a force to aid the besieging force. The Fey Army would continue to build up for their assaults in the following year, training, drilling and never remaining comfortable. At home strengthening the Economy was needed to maintain the war in the West, Prince Aeleandor had a difficult task ahead of him while he stewarded the realm. The Fey people were never the most industrious nor their merchants out for pure self interest, making it difficult to achieve economic growth. Though to this effort at least a port on the Barrier river would be constructed in the City of Anmyr, the only City with access to the Barrier that would allow for complete Ocean access and increased trade volume between the Fey and those whom they choose as their trade partners. The factories would be put to task creating new weapons as to supply the men in the West. Meanwhile on the warfront…. The Camp Quartermaster would be hard at work filling in order requests and taking inventory, thousands of new men arrived by the year along with more equipment to arm them with, it was a busy time as the army wintered outside the city. Numbers were swelling on the outside, though those on the inside had the capabilities of raising the dead in truth it was unknown what the enemies numbers were. However those living required food and eventually whatever stores they had before will run out. The Harvests outside the walls would be taken or sabotaged to ensure further starvation of the City within. The Infantry would regularly patrol, the Scouts would regularly keep their eyes peeled for enemy activity. It was expected the Darkyrians were amassing an army deeper in the Heartland. The Fey would be ready regardless of if they came or if they waited for the City to fall. Even if the defenders had to be starved to surrender, seeing whether or not the general population are as fanatical as the soldiers if they would greet death willingly or if they’d rather live. Expenditure 15,000 is spent on building a Port in the City of Anmyr, ensuring trade across the Barrier flowing into this allocated port. 12,000 is spent on recruiting 2,000 Medium Infantry to be transported to the front for the following year with T2 Equipment. 500 is spent paying the Galaharian Merchants to maintain their supply routes. Military Maneuvers The Siege would continue, the Army would supervise the planting and harvesting of crops in the surrounding villages, utilising their Cavalry and Reserve Infantry. Due to the relative openness and the superior scouting ability of the Fey it is rather unlikely they’ll be ambushed. The Peasants would be told they’d be compensated in the following year. The Army would ensure a firm but fair treatment of the civilians outside the walls, if one commits a crime it is dealt with firmly but innocence aren’t punished.

The outlying city of the Darkyrian Kingdom would be besieged as it served as the main bulwark against the invading forces of the Fey. The merchants of Galahar were taking full advantage of the situation, with the formation of a supply route for troop replenishments and reinforcements along with regular supplies the Galahar would turn a profit on the hardships of the Fey and Darkyrian alike. At home the Princely Council of the Fey had arranged a political marriage between the Kingdom of Bulgar and the Kingdom of Fyr-Darrick, uniting the Lithborn and Fey in a union of friendship and compassion. Though the obvious ulterior motives were perhaps the long term involvement of the Lithborn armies in their war against the necromantic Kingdom to the West of them deep in the Greenthroat. For now only Galahar were aware of the war in the Greenthroat and they intended to take full advantage of it. Within the Warcamp of the Great Stag, the King of the Fey and of Fyr-Darrick the mood was dour, many of the Officers within the army were optimistic hoping they’d be able to take the Darkyrians by surprise but evidently they had prepared and plans had to be changed in order to achieve victory in this war. It would be a long war, perhaps the last war of the Great Stag. The mood in the Royal tent was one of discontent, some voices wishing to go home. “We were too optimistic in our march, we thought we could rush in and take down the Kingdom within a year. They knew we were coming, which means they caught one of your scouts.” An officer would state, looking the leader of the Eyes of the Forest in the tent with some contempt. “The Scouts were fresh, it is regrettable but we can’t do anything about it now. Our God demands we remove this stain from the world, they raise the dead and must be stopped.” the Veteran Archer says. The King would sit staring daggers at the table as those around him would bicker. Eonir would stand and begin wandering over to the entrance of his tent as those around him would continue to discuss the war. The Fey King would look on in the distance seeing the City that was blocking his campaign that had become his obstacle that could claim his life should he lack proper caution. He would finally break his silence “We will stay here, we will use the Galaharians to supply us and we will maintain constant and total war until we’ve been victorious or until we’ve all been killed.” The War Council would fall silent and all look to their King, they would remain composed in an almost uniform stoicism betraying little emotion. “Yes my King.” the lead Archer would say, before the rest of the Council would follow suit. In the Capital, Prince Aeleandor would send word to the Bulgar. Expenditure 10,000 would be spent on Siege Equipment. 500 would be spent on securing the Galaharian supply routes for troop transport and supplies. 15,000 would be spent on a Military Academy in the homeland. 8,000 would be spent on recruiting 1,000 Medium Infantry with T2 Equipment which would be transported to the War Camp in Darkyria 2,000 would be spent on T2 Equipment and transporting it to supply an additional 1,000 Medium Infantry with said equipment. Military and Adventure Maneuvers The Army in Darkyria would begin to settle in for the Winter, the supply routes established to limit attrition. Adepts would be used to ensure disease wouldn’t be spread using rituals.
  24. State of Poland Overview Early 1921 The State of Poland would progress further into the 20th Century with the end of the first of the Four Year Plans. The Nationalist Government would immediately begin the implementation of the second Four Year Plan to continue the consecutive industrialisation and economic growth of Poland. Domestic Political Policy Campaigning by the Nationalist and Fascists for a new Monarch of Poland from a traditional Polish-Lithuanian Noble House would be well under way. The Poll being scheduled for the second part of the year in 1921. Pilsudski promoting the idea of a Polish Monarch allowing traditional Polish Culture and Catholic practises to be undertaken once again, promoting the Crown as a symbol of renewed National Sovereignty. (Mod) The Government would seek to create some form of limited National Health Service in order to combat Dutch Flu that persists in part of the Country. Other measures to combat the Dutch Flu would be undertaken and research would be funded. (Mod) Domestic Economic Policy A New Four Year Plan is begun to be implemented, this time it is focused on two key areas more Industrial Manufacturing and Financial Services. Poland needed Banks, Credit and Capital from Domestic means and more Heavy Industry. In the year of 1921 the focus would be building Polish Native Steel Works. (Mod) The Arms and Automobile Industries would also receive subsidies! (Mod) Military Policy 300,000 Polish Army Regulars would be ordered to the border with the United Kingdoms of the Austrian Empire, with the ongoing war between the Central Powers and Austria it was seen as important to maintain security across the border. (Mod) Research Research would continue in the concept of Armoured Vehicles, the Nationalist Government would set Companies to compete against each other for a contract in mass production of Armoured Cars.
