    Alright, as you, the LotC community, are my only friends in my life (spare me any pity) i'd like to ask you for advice. If I go to join the US military, shall I consider USMC or ARMY? I'd probably be going infantry, and with the ARMY, i'd go into airborn and then to Rangers if I had my way... In the Marines, i'd be aiming for MARSOC... I welcome any facts, opinions, and suggestions anyone could give me. If you have a lot of info, don't be afriad to send a PM. Thanks.

      I ninja'd your post with mine, Cloaked, and as such did not read your post until now. I NEVER wrote that i'm going to be going into war for sh*ts n' giggles, nor did I write that i've even made up my mind in joining yet.

      I'm not a "naive child", and I have sources of information on the military in my own family. I believe that with my own skills and attributes, I will be at most use to my country as a member of the infantry.

    Just figured out that i've never told anyone on the server that I am a part-time apprentice to my uncle who happens to be a blacksmith, and a skilled one at that. Horse riding, Computer programming, metalworking, hunting, seems i'm getti ready for an apocalypse.

    I've personally fought a couple of rp battles against this art, and I loved both encounters. Each time the attacks were realistic and effective... Not really effective against the constant pressuring of a shield with skill behind it (I refined my own combat after my fight with you, Meta :D learning after an rp fight is something that is supposed to happen... Yet it doesn't often enough.) All in all, I enjoyed fighting against this both times, and I would love to see more of it... As it has provided the only challenge i've had on rp encounters for a hell of a long time. 9/10.

    For dragon-like beasts that could be used due to LotC's already iron-tight dragon lore, I could tell you a bit about "basilisks", which i've had ig rp about on server before.

    Also used them as antagonists early in Lykos' life in his biography, which is in the "characters/Lykos" section in my siggy if you wish to take a look.

    Lols. In the "dragons and dragon riders 3.0" thread, Cyndikate mentioned dragonborn. Got me remembering the dragonborn of King's Road. Everyone attacked that temple and everyone hated them, so hilarious.

    Well, yeah I killed it, but that's not importanté. I adopted them as the lizard creatures that attacked Lykos happy childhood home in his bio.

    And I only half-rode a drake once, and that was because in rp I stabbed it and held onto the sword as it tried to fly away, and then I stabbed it again. I achieved a flight height of like 20 feet.
