Still no official statement or direct contact about why I was temporarily banned. Only response was from Llir when people got upset in LotC general Discord. “Be more like Korvic” usually includes communication.

@SquakHawk I do agree with you on some points. Yes it was favoritism and anyone else in the same situation would’ve been banned/blacklisted (Remember Hero taking over a mods account?). Though I think the difference here is that no other staff team was helping Mystery with this eventline after it was planned out and given dates the staff required to help him suddenly went on ‘hiatus’ and gave an unrealistic expectation for the event to just not be cancelled “Hey, i’m leaving in 30 minutes, give me the map file or it cant be done.”.
Hidden pex and permissions got given out, the events went smoothly and no one abused the system (Besides that kick). Everyone enjoyed themselves when other staff was unavailable or unwilling to help a pre-approved event. If anything reflecting on this event and the prior events, further permissions need to be handed to staff, managers or long serving players on X team that require it to make things smoothly.
The world team shouldn’t have to rely on moderators to setup worldguard regions. Event Team managers shouldn’t have to ask admins for mina to hand to their team(s) for events. All of it is written down in the console which can be checked for abuse when audits are checked.
Favoritism is apart of it, the players are proven that they’re trusted and didn’t abuse the permissions given, they created fun for the server as a whole when other staff abandoned them. Don’t try to compare other situations of abuse to this one since it benefited the server. I’m almost 100% certain these permissions would’ve been removed after the Athera eventline anyway, which was stated above ‘to make sure it went according to plan.”.
