The Caliphate looks like a cool nation, though the use of direct Islamic and Arabic terms and culture seeme offputting. Could their God be something other than Allah, for the sake of the server 4th wall?
Most stories and the like draw inspiration from the best works of fiction ever written. There's bound to be references everywhere, intentional (or literal) or not.
orenian canonism is basically catholicism I dunno why it's an issue. I mean I GUESS we could use a word other than Allah but I dont think its that big an issue.
