Aegis is like old music. The only reason you prefer it better was because you are one of the few around during Aegis. I personally prefer the now over Aegis because I have became a better RPer since then.

Quality of Rp has only improved. Anyone remember old Oren and how bad the rp was? Everyone hung out in a bakery and there were powergame fights there everyday, people didn't respect leaders as it would make sense to, and kingdoms actually have substantial borders and populations instead of being just "I guess this is the border maybe."

I mean people you know that leave. Its very sad. It feels like it's so hard to take in.
