You know how people complain about magic on LoTC being total ****? If you go to the magic blacklists section of the forums you'll notice that the folder is empty and has been empty since July. Perhaps the reason magic is suffering isn't lore related at all but related to the lack of reports and blacklists being dished out when bad magic roleplay happens. I recall there being a time back in Asulon and even the Fringe where the magic blacklists section contained atleast 2-3 pages of blacklists.
