The Church of Cannon likes to keep them private and the lore exclusive to members of the church I believe. 

*shrug* doesn't make much sense to me as it really limits some RP.

There used to be ones for sale in the bookstore IG. Meh I'm joining the church anyways, was just gonna catch up on some reading. They probably do it because historically the bible/torah (what our scrolls are based off of) was only readable to people who knew how to read Hebrew. It gives more of a reason to have a priest do mass.
