    This entire OOC Anti-Oren obsession that has existed since Alty became Emperor in late 2019 is turning this server in a completely toxic place. How many times any of you have witnessed Anti-Oren messages in OOC channels within the server? Because it has been constant during all this time. What has the Admin Team done to address this issue? Nothing, and now we see the consequences of this negligence: more toxicity and more OOC, which is a very bad impression for a new player (see JoshBright's post).

     

    Also, and I hope that what happened recently made us all learn this, which is that I think that it has been completely proven that forcing your character to act in a certain manner for the mere fact that it benefits you more oocly (e.g.: to assume the leadership of a nation) is something that is completely bad for the community as it just generates more OOC and toxicity.

      Seems every time Oren isn't getting their way they complain about a non-existent anti-oren sentiment. JoshBrights situation is not a great example as the issue wasn't about him as much as it was about Orenians using his tavern for conflict RP to which the natural response was retaliation. After he voiced his issues we all worked together to find a compromise to help him out. You can't simply play victim when you don't get your way. You also can't say that certain types of RP ruin your RP just because you aren't winning in the scenario. The entire "I wanna win RP" culture is a horrible addition to the server but it runs rampant in several communities including yours. Just because the RP isn't what you wanted it to be doesn't mean that you can label it as OOC toxicity or bad RP. I have played both in Oren and outside of it and I have nothing but respect and admiration for Nectorist. I fail to see how I am OOCly hating on him and his nation when I hardly know some of the people.
